We would stay again as the beds are awesome, no charge for pets, a nice walking path into a safe and welcoming neighborhood. The only negative tough to get to heading east on Kellogg

I stayed here for a small get away with my girlfriend for 2 nights. The rooms were bigger then expected, had an awesome looking indoor pool/hot tub, had breakfast in the mornings, and the location was not horibble. The only two complaints that I have are the toilet seat didn't stay up when using it (that was quite frusterating) and the excess space […] in the room. The room was very uncomfortable because the bed mattress was very worn out.

We got stuck in a back room next to the fire escape and on the hi-way side of the hotel. All we heard all night was trucks going by and people going in and out of the fire escape doors. I paid more to stay in a LaQuinta because I have mostly been pleased with my stay in your hotel but not this one!!

Older building but comfortable room. Don't let the older building deter you, the room was worth the price. The area has lots of restaurants for dining. Easy access to highway to get back on the road.

5th floor stinks

The room was comfortable and convenient to the freeway. However, when we arrived the light bulbs were burnt out of the two lamps. They were quick to replace the bulbs. The room itself was clear but the large front window was really dirty. All and all for the money it was a decent room. It had both a microwave and refrigerator which was nice.

The experience was disappointing, we've stayed at LaQuinta Inn frequently and I can say with no reservations that this is the most disappointing. The facility is tired, furniture is cheap and falling apart, and to top it off, one of two elevators were broken and they ahd scheduled a celebration on the sixth floor was many guest. The airconditioning […] unit in the room came on frequently and it sounded like an jet engine firing up. All in all a very disappointing expereince. Leer más

I had a much better stay at the La Quinta Inn on East Kellogg compared to my last stay back in March. I decided to give you another chance because your rooms were so nice and the staff was very nice. Thay had basketball tournaments going on in March and had a few unruly people running around making noise until 3:00 a.m.. The staff had their hands full […] trying to keep the peace. But when the parents or or adults in charge are letting them run about making noise. That doesn't make any bodies job easy. So yes I had a very peaceful, enjoyable stay this time. Thank you! The room was nice the only thing that I did not like about the room is that there was no chair to relax in. If I wanted to watch tv, I had to sit on the bed.

wireless bad. only got 25k. no plug in for PC. Not a businessmans hotel.

The hotel was easy to find, clean, comfortable beds, close to a lot of restaurants and shopping. It was a nice stay.

I really enjoyed my stay at La Quinta. It may have been for one night but it was enjoyable. The internet, vending, etc was explained very well at checkin. I forgot to bring something and i went to front desk and was given the item at no charge. It was very pleasant night.

The personnel was very polite. The only problems we encountered was that we had a strong Chlorine odor in our from the pool area which wasn't overwhelming but strong. The other problem we had was that the pool recreation area had a strong echo effect in there. It seemed that anything that went on out there was amplified like it was right outside our […] door. But the motel personnel had a problem with guest being noisy late into the hours (like 2:30AM). It seemed like they would get one silenced then another would start. The 2:30AM) incident involved Cheerleaders. My question would have been for that incident is Where are their parents or guardians? Again your personnel was forced to escort noisy people out of the area. The personnel did their best to keep things quiet, but when parents or guardians aren't being responsible and doing their job then it makes others jobs harder. I wouldn't hesitate staying there again, but maybe a room away from the pool area. Leer más

Staff was very accommodating to our needs; pets welcome without an extra pet deposit. Convenient location and and access.

Three weeks ago we made plans to stay at a hotel. Needless to say it was the same hotel I stayed with my future wife back on October 30 2003. And the same one we were going to have our Honeymoon in. So it was a very nice surprise to take my new girl there since my future wife ended up dying in 2006 in a car accident while working as a home health aide. […] In fact we made new memories there of our own. Plus remembered some of the old ones I had as well. The staff there is soooo nice too. Plus the area was to die for as we shopped until the mall closed as we got some really great deals. This stay was amazing. I had nothing but a great time. The check-in was simple, I was helped with my way through the hotel. I was immediately told where the breakfast was going to be held at in the morning. I was directed to the pool and hot tub area. The room was in excellent condition. The bathroom was so nice. I had a awesome stay!

I was very upset about the hold they place on your account when checking in with a debit card. Nowhere on their website or ad did it state this. They placed a hold on my funds for the exact amount I had already paid for my room (for 2 nights), which left me with little money on my trip. The lady at the front desk said "well we have a sign on our counter […] saying this is our policy". I however was not at the counter when I made my reservation at my home in another state. Leer más

Family stayed for 4 days, 3 nights. Convenient and simple - provides access local shopping and services if needed. Rooms are a little small, pillows could be softer, however, it is an older hotel and has character. Kids loved indoor tropical pool. Mom loved the whirlpool in the evenings and waffle maker in the am.

Very comfortable surroundings. Fast easy on and easy off main highway with link to interstate. Room was spacious and accomodating. Very nice complimentary breakfast with plenty of time for early or late risers to enjoy. Large variety of options to eat and drink. We stayed overnight to go shopping the next morning. Location was great. Very easy to get across Kellogg. Room wasn't anything spectacular, but clean enough. The swimming pool was fun for the kids. The hot tub however, was pretty dirty. Scum was on the tiles and bugs were floating in the water. The scum was so thick that people has actually written […] their names in it. Convenient to shopping, dining and area tourist attractions. On the East side of town with airport on the West side. It was not a problem as the expressway ride was quick. We chose this Inn rather than La Quinta Inn W. because of the non-smoking choice. We will stay here again.

My wife and I had a wedding to attend in Wichita and the La Quinta was very close to the reception area. For the most part our stay was enjoable, the only problems that we experienced was the usuall door cards/room key cards deactivating (common problem among many hotels in our experience). The door to our room however was a bit tricky to open it would […] register the card but as you turned the handle it would return to the locked position, before you could open the door. We finally figured out that a quick and slightly forceful turn was needed inorder to open the door. Our only other complaints were that house keeping neglected to refil the facial tissue when they made their rounds and some of the supplies got pretty low before they refilled them. The only other issue was the alarm clock radio that appeared at first to be ok but the one of the side plates had poped loose to the point that you could not access the alarm or volume controls. We mentioned this to the front desk with 2 days left in our stay they said they would get it changed out but it was still there when we left. That would have been our only major complaint. The last thing to mention is not the fault of the hotel but should be noted. Appearently the La Quinta is located along the flight line of a local Air Force base and on three different ocassions they were practicing touch and go manuvers where they would come in for landings only a few hundred feet above the top of the hotel. If you are not used to living off the end of a runway this might be a big shock and an inconvience. These fly overs didnot happen every night only about 3 different days, two of them were at night from 8-12pm and one of them during the day in the afternoon. Over all the La Quinta is a good value for the money just be aware the there might be some noisy jets overhead and that you might need to keep on the front desk to get things finished that should have been done with out mention. Very nice, bed comfortable, nice pool area.

We booked two rooms for two nights. It was the only hotel in Wichita, that had an indoor pool, free parking, breakfast, great price. The room was very comfortable. My nephews enjoyed the pool. Staff was very friendly. Will try to book here again, if I return to visit.

Bathroom nice but small. It has granite countertops and a large gold mirror above the sink. The door has a full length mirror. Not a very dark room. Wish that I had brought some tape to hold the curtains in place. Nice furnishings. Breakfast had yogurt, muffins, toast, bagels, wafles, oatmeal, juice and coffee. Would have liked boiled eggs and fresh […] fruit. Location is fine, except for the construction on Kellogg Road. The entire area is a bit of a hassle but not terrible. We enjoyed our stay. The room had a refrigerator and a small microwave. Good mattress and 3 pillows on each bed. Great price for this room. Leer más

Very comfortable beds, great indoor pool area, breakfast bar was better than most "continential breakfast". Small bathrooms. They are doing road construction, so access to hotel right now is awkward.

The room was nice,clean pool & spa. Close to the V.A.,lady at desk was very helpful. The maid needs to clean behind things, paper bag behind dresser,and under bed. No Showtime as adervertised,But all in all it was fine , will stay there in the future.

This facility used to be owned by another company, and wasn't a great place. However, La Quinta has vastly improved it. We needed a good room at a great price, and we got it. Next time we are in Wichita, we know exactly where to go.

The hotel was nice, had a great pool and hottub. The location of the hotel was not so great. There was ALOT of construction around the hotel and I ended up having to go 5 miles out of my way just to get on the highway to get to the airport from this hotel. The beds were also not confortable. Other than that, it was an okay hotel.

There is a lot of construction around the hotel so it is very hard to get in and out of. The free breakfast was not close to what was described, our room was dirty with candy wrappers on the floor, got a rash from the bed that will not go away, and so much more.

I am not usually one to follow-up and complain, but this stay was particularly frustrating from beginning to end. When I stepped off the elevator, the temperature on my floor was so hot and humid. I should have saw that as an indication of things to come. When I walked into my room, the air conditioner was off, so the room was also hot and very smelly. […] The light in the entry way did not initially work. The small minifridge was unplugged. When I picked up the phone in the room to call the front desk about it, I then discovered that the phone in the room did not work either... When I to walk downstairs, I slipped on the wet steps - thankfully I did not fall. And this was all within the first 30minutes of me being there! A positive was the customer service I recieved in getting some of these issues taken care of, and once the sir conditioner was turned on, the room itself wasnt so bad, but my advice to you... UPGRADE! It's worth the extra $10-$15 to just stay at another location. Leer más

Extremely loud very late, no hot water for pool, hot tub or shower.

I was not informed that the indoor hot tub did not work and there were no notifications at the hotel itself saying that it was out of order. The reason I picked this hotel was for the hot tub so I was very dissappointed.
