Nos hemos alojado varias veces en este hotel, es muy limpio, y cerca de todo lo importante de Manhattan, sobre todo Times Square. En 5 minutos a pie se esta en pleno bullicio, pero el hotel esta en una calle tranquila, donde se puede descansar perfectamente. Muy cerca, tiene el metro para desplazarse tranquilamente.

Hotel en un emplazamiento inmejorable, pero con varios puntos a mejorar: 1-Demasiado calor en las habitaciones, tuvimos que dormir con la ventana abierta en pleno diciembre 2-Cama demasiado blanda. Bien ubicado, muy ruidosas las habitaciones interiores por el aire acondicionado

Nos gustó mucho la habitación y sobre todo el que tuviera nevera y microondas lo cual nos hizo gastar menos dinero en desayuno y cenas,que es de agradecer allí!!. La ubicación genial,al lado de Times Square y la estación de Port Authority. Lo único que no me gustó esque me cargaran el la cuenta 300$ por si acaso hacias uso del canal de películas o algun […] servicio extra....se me dijo que se reembolsaría al hacer el Check-out,espero no tener problemas con eso.... Habitación para 4. Espacio en la habitación suficiente. Baño muy pequeño, incluso aunque hubiera sido para dos. Un día pregunté en recepción la mejor estación de metro para pasear por el puente de brookling y me dijeron que al día siguiente contactara con la agencia de viajes del hotel.... por supuesto que me busqué la vida por mi cuenta. Todo estuvo muy bien. Habitación muy espaciosa, baño correcto. Personal muy amable. Volveré seguro.

Tras visitar varios foros de comentarios de hoteles en Nueva York me decidí por el The Belvedere Hotel. El trato en recepción con todas las personas que tratamos a la llegada y durante los diez días de estancia fue bueno. La habitación dispone de una cocina pequeña pero más que suficiente para poder preparar una cena o desayuno. El baño aceptable. Camas […] amplias y cómodas. Limpieza diaria de la habitación. Había leído comentarios sobre lo fea que es la calle donde se ubica el hotel, pero la considero como cualquier otra que no sea una avenida principal. Además, tiene a menos de cinco minutos el Time Square y estación de metro. Saliendo del hotel y girando en la octava avenida hacia el sur, en menos de diez minutos se llega a la estación de autobuses. si vuelvo a Nueva York repetiría estancia en este hotel. Leer más

La única observación a hacer es que las camas necesitan mantenimiento, y que el wifi tiene costo extra a diferencia de otro hoteles de la zona

Hotel con muy buen costo/beneficio, especialmente por su ubicación...cerca de todo especialmente de Times Square, fácil acceso a todos los teatros de Broadway...y si quieres caminar un poco...Empire State, Macy´s, Central Park y demás. Personal amable. Recomiendo los pisos altos y para el lado de la 49th Street, para no tener mucho ruido.

buena atencion y ayuda para guardar el equipaje antes y despues del checkin

Muy buena ubicacion cerca de brodway, teatros, metro, en general bien el hotel, aunque el baño un poco chico y anticuado y los elevadores angostos y un poco lentos. El personal en general amables y atentos.

En esta ocasión lo estaban remodelando. El servicio de recepción fue muy bueno. No obstante que el chec in era hasta las 4 de la tarde, al llegar más temprano, una señorita nos concedió la oportunidad de entrar al cuarto antes de esa hora. Se lo agradací enormemente!!. Su localización es excelente, pues está casi en Times Square, y el distrito de teatros […] y buenos restaurantes. Siempre me agrada este lugar!!! Estuvimos esta semana, un hotel muy biensituado sobre todo si es la primera vez que visitas NY y quieres estar en el área turistica, tambien muy bien comunicado pues el metro esta a solo 2 cuadras del hotel. las habitaciones son amplias para NY y no es un lugar ruidoso. Esta cerca del Time Square en la calle 48, hay una estacion del subway en la 50 muy cerca de la 7 av donde pasa el bus. Habitacion comoda para los 4. Limpio y bonito. Hay muchas opciones para comer muy cerca.

Es un hotel con una situación perfecta, a escasos cinco minutos de Times Square y de Rockefeller Center. Se puede ir andando a muchos de los lugares de interés turístico. El metro está a dos minutos. La calle es de un solo carril de circulación, con lo cual es bastante tranquila, teniendo en cuenta el tráfico en N.Y. Hay tiendas y restaurantes en la […] 8ª avd. El personal del hotel es muy agradable y además algunos de ellos hablan español. Nosotros eramos 3 personas y estuvimos en una habitación doble-executive del piso 12. Nuestra habitación no daba a la calle, era tranquila y bastante amplia, con un lavabo no muy grande, pero que tenía todo lo necesario. Cada día reponian el gel, champú, etc., así como el servicio de café en la cocina. Las camas eran muy cómodas, aunqué las encontramos un poco justas para dos adultos. La limpieza en todo el hotel es excepcional. Ló único negativo es que el aire acondicionado de las habitacíones hace mucho ruido (hasta el punto de tener que apagarlo); y por otro lado, los ascensores son lentísimos. Leer más

En realidad esperábamos otra cosa de acuerdo a lo que vimos en los avisos. Las instalaciones eran más antiguas de lo que parecían y el espacio resultó reducido. La cocina casi no existía como tal cuando fue una de las características que motivó su elección, además de la buena ubicación. El baño también era muy pequeño, y sin ventilación. Hace un mes pase la segunda semana de mi Luna de Miel en NY y después de una busqueda de mas de 3 meses entre miles de hoteles, decidimos quedarnos en el Belvedere ya que tenia una muy buena tarifa para la fecha y sobre todo por la ubicación. Al llegar, luego de un caótico aeropuerto y viaje en los famosos yellow cabs, llegamos a la recepción y la atención […] fue de primera, tuve un problema con mi tarjeta de credito ya que no la llevaba en ese momento y la gente de recepción entendió la situación y arreglaron mi problema. Nos entrgaron la habitación muy rapido y luego de mas de 10 hrs de viaje pudimos descansar en una cama increiblemente cómoda!!!! La vista desde el hotel era muy buena, pero sobre todo la SUPER UBICACIÓN. Habiamos leido que el hotel estaba a 5 min caminando, pero nunca pensamos que fueran 5 minutos literarlmente. Al estar a media cuadra de la 8° av. tienes una infinidad de lugares para comer, desayunar y cenar, sobre todo las farmacias Duane Reader, ahi copramos algo de despensa y como la habitación cuenta con frigobar y una pequeña cocineta, pudimos guardar agua, jugos y algo de comida para cenar por las noche cuando ya estabams muy cansados. En general, puedo decir que es un hotel increible, sus habitaciones muy bonitas, sobre todo las executive ya que son un poco mas caras pero VALEN LA PENA!!! Vi una de las mas baratas y la verdad no se veían tan bien como la que teníamos. Vale la pena pagar un poco mas para tener una mejor habitación. Un hotel cerca de Times Square, no muy cómodo, pero está bien si uno está fuera todo el tiempo. El servicio es regular, el desayuno pobre. LA Calle no es muy bonita pero cerca de la 8a y de una estación de metro.

Excelente ubicación, super cómodo y en el corazón de Broadway.

EXCELENTE SERVICIO, NO COBRAN EXTRA POR GUARDAR MALETAS (EN NY COBRAN MUCHOS HOTELES GUARDAR MALETAS, DESPUES DE TU SALIDA) Y MUY CERCA DE LA ZONA DE TEATROS, PERO MASTRANQUILO

Lovely place to stay! Great location and friendly staff. Only one complaint : the hot water in the shower was inconsistent. Hot then cold and vice versa. Overall, would stay there again.

The Belvedere was clean, comfortable, and in a great location. It's a 5-10 minute walk to Times Square and the subway stations. It's certainly not a five-star hotel, as you can tell from the age of the elevators, but the rooms are just what you need if you're simply using them as a comfortable place to sleep and have as a base for your sight-seeing. Cons: […] the heater didn't work, but it was a nice week so we didn't bother to ask the front desk about it; the windows are thin and our room faced the street so it was a bit noisy; they could use a couple more NEW elevators for the amount of floors they have; and sometimes I thought the doormen were just there for show... If you want to be in the middle of it all, this is a great choice. The staff was super friendly and accommodating and the room was very spacious. Would highly recommend!

The Belvedere was clean, had a great bed, and was located just a couple blocks from both our restaurant and theater. We will stay in this hotel again!!

We needed to be in this particular part of town for our business conference, and we were very satisfied with the Belvedere, as it is in a quiet location within two blocks from the theater district. staff very friendly and helpful; location great for theatre district, central park and times square. rooms were comfortable size especially for nyc.

Everthing was great. Staff and hotel was nice. The area was great for eating out and to walk to show.

We have stay four times on business trips.It has a great location,clean rooms,very kind staff and excellent Plataforma Restaurant close by.The welcoming is warm and the employees really treat us extremely well.Will stay again.

Great location if you are seeing plays. Very accommodating staff. All rooms are different. We were in a corner room on top floor. Nice to have an extra window with a view all the way to the river! I would highly recommend the Belvedere Hotel not only for it's location but it was an overall very enjoyable experience. I have traveled with my family many times to NYC during the Christmas holidays and have stayed at many hotels in the city. Most of them have been in the Times Square area. I would say without a doubt that the Belvedere was the best […] by far. The room was of adequate size and was very clean and beautifully decorated. We opted for the deluxe room. The beds were extremely comfortable and the pillows were extra fluffy. I REALLY loved the location since it was on a side street and off the main thoroughfares you didn't hear the sirens and heavy traffic all night long. We are NYC annually at Christmas time. By far, we enjoyed ouor stay at the Belvedere far more than we have enjoyed our stays at neighboring hotels. The location is far enough off Times Square and yet affords access to all of NYC's attractions. We are booking again next December! WOULD DEFFINATELY STAY HERE AGAIN

Stayed 4 nights in January. Originally booked one of the "regular" rooms but upon arrival, it smelled funky and looked old & tired. We paid a little extra for one of their newly renovated rooms and the difference was night and day - the room was brand new. This is a great hotel to stay at. The room was extremely nice and looks like it was recently redecorated. The room was quite large and the bed was incredibly comfortable. A great value for the price. We'll definitley stay there again.

I stayed in the King Deluxe suite, which was a fantastic price for the time of year (New Years). The room was not only clean and comfy but it was very modern and the bathroom (one of the first places I look when checking in to a hotel) was very new and spotless. The service was fantastic, valet was prompt and bags were very well taken care of. The staff […] was very friendly, accomodating and quick to answer any questions. I did have a few issues come up (my wifi was not working properly, the heat in the room stopped working) but both issues were resolved in a timely manner. The breakfast was good but nothing special for the price ($15/person for continental, $20 for deluxe). I did notice that some of the lower floors were not as up modern and smelled more grungy (could be because they are the smoking floors) but I cannot comment on the look of those rooms. The hotel itself is a block and a half from Times Sq which made it VERY easy to get to all the must see sites. There are many great restaurants and attractions in the area. Leer más

The Belvedere Hotel is a beautiful hidden gem located very close to the must-see sights and attractions of New York. The hotel is located very close to mass transit systems such as buses, and subways - virtually enabling you to go anywhere in New York. This hotel is in a decent neighbourhood and only a couple of blocks from Times Square. You cannot beat the location. Room was clean and comfortable. But take note: there is no restaurant or bar in this hotel. But it was a good base for our touring.

This hotel which is in the heart of the theatre district features rooms which are "huge" by NY standards. Staff are friendly and helpful. Inexpensive parking is available on the next street north. Will be visiting here again for sure!
