Uge cambiar alfombras de areas comunes y arreglr el aspecto del elevador. Buen pesonal, muy cooperativo. La ona si bien céntrica, no es buena, mucho malviviente.

La estancia en el hotel fue muy comoda la habitacion limpia y el bano muy bien ...la programacion de la tv pobre pero sin trascendencia ...personal del hotel amable y hasta ahi nada especial ...el desayuno fatal y caro ...sin trascendencia ...servicios en los alrededores como garage ...restaurant y shopping excelente ...debo regresar a dublin en unos meses y seguro que llegare a este hotel ya que el precio y el beneficio van de la mano

Las habitaciones son pequenas, pero comodas. Cuenta con un bar muy agradable. Los empleados son muy amables. La ubicacion es perfecta, a quien gusta de caminar o correr frente al mar, no creo haya mejor lugar, hay un parque en la esquina donde los domingos venden comida, muy rica de varios tipos. Su cafetera es una jarra muy sencilla que calienta con una resistencia, aunque me salvo la vida para poder hervir el agua para las mamilas de mi bb. Los banos tienen mucho hongo, hace falta mucha limpieza con dedicacion. Con sinceridad, no me quedaria otra vez ahi, me gustan las habitaciones mas grandes y limpias.

El unico inconveniente es que esta lejos del centro de la ciudad. Por lo demas, es un hotel agradable, con muy buen mantenimiento y aspecto general. El personal es amable. Habitacion espaciosa, discreta y comoda. El desayuno es bueno.

La exuberante Ballsbridge es un área residencial exclusiva y tranquila, a unos 20-30 minutos a pie de la ciudad, unida mediante frecuentes autobuses. El Gran Canal la atraviesa y a pesar de que gran parte de esta vía fluvial no tiene gran interés, hay una zona agradable cerca del puente de la calle Richmond, con pubs en la orilla. La cuna de George Bernard Shaw es un destino turístico popular.

"Mespil Hotel - good for the price - nice area"
The hotel staff were all excellent, very professional but also friendly and helpful. The location is a little way from the town centre and Temple Bar but is within a few minutes walking distance of Baggot Street, which we found to be preferable to Temple Bar for pubs. Hotel had all i needed. Parking was my only problem, no spaced in their car park.. Location perfect, reception friendly.

"Very noisy in rooms"
Stayed during Bank Holiday Monday and Tuesday 2011. Was woken at 1am and again at 4.30am by people coming into rooms next door. The walls are very thin! Also workmen in room next door banging at 9.00 on Tuesday; what a thing to do with occupants asleep in room next door!

overall ok. the staff is friendly. the cleanliness is ok. location ok only as a bit far from public transport. however the drawback is that the housekeeping staff is not so pro in the sense that never refill the necessary toiletories for us.

We found the hotel not up to a standard of cleanliness. Someone had written in the dusk on the legs of the chairs in the room HELP. What does that tell you. We booked a triple room, yet had to ask for three towels. We stayed two nights and had to ask for an extra towel and tea cup again. "Good Hotel for a Good Price"
Hotel located a little off the beaten track, but there within walking distance of downtown (about 20 minutes) and plenty of bus service. Good size rooms, wifi and computers in the lobby. Starbucks right next door and restaurants within a few minutes walk.

Very good, comfortable, staff at front desk were very helpful and welcoming. Great value and a quiet room - plumbing was a bit noisy but did not cause a problem sleeping.

Hotel staff were very helpful and full of information. We were given triple room when booked a twin, so it was nice and spacious.Beds very comfortable. Hotel further out of the main city than I'd thought. Would spend a bit more on a more central hotel if went to Dublin again, as spent a fair bit on getting busses(which will only take exact fare). I stayed at the Mespil Hotel in Dublin for 4 nights and was really impressed. It is hard to tell what you are going to get - booking online, but I was pleasantly surprised. The hotel room was great (clean and comfortable), the breakfast buffet was very satisfying and the staff were really helpful - especially Peter on the reception desk. Being in a family room, it was a little annoying having to keep going to reception to request for more teabags, milk and an extra cup everyday, as the room wasn't stocked properly but other than that, the distance from the city centre was the only negative really. "The hotel is in a great spot - close to Aviva!"
The hotel is a very nice hotel, the staff are very accomadating. We arrived at 11am; due to check in for 2pm, we had arranged to leave the bags with the hotel, they gaves us a room at 11am. Very happy wth that. Unforunately the only negative i have with the room 516 is that it is situated right behind the elevator. My wife and i heard it only at night, […] in saying that we did sleep right through it as we were shattered from the dublin tours. I can only find one thing detremental durung my stay in the Mespil Hotel. A card suggesting ways of protecting the environment was in the room and one was leaving plastic bottles for recycling. On day prior to checking out bottles were left in room althgough they had been taken all other mornings and soap was not replaced in bathroom that same morning. Apart […] from this the stay was perfect and I would recommend the Mespil to anyone who is thinking of a stay in Dublin especially if going to the Aviva stadium or RDS as they are both within a 20 minute walk of the hotel. I booked this hotel at the very last minute and am very happy with my choice except for one thing : the hotel staff. My friend and I were badly welcomed by the receptionist who never made eye contact with either of us. She asked my friend (who had made the booking) to spell her surname 4 times as she could not see our booking which had been made half […] an hour before. I told her that the booking was probably still in the hotel's fax machine or inbox but she totally ignored me. The next day, I asked another receptionist if I could borrow a pen and I got it literally thrown at me! This was utterly rude! Apart from the rude and unprofessional staff, the hotel is well kept, the rooms are basics but clean which is what you would expect from a 3 star hotel. "bit away from the centre but nice and quiet"
Would happily recommend this hotel - stayed there for the weekend of the big rugby game and although it was very near Landsdowne road, it was all quiet and fine. Rooms were clean and OK standard, and buffet breakfast was good too! Nice and quiet basic hotel.

"tired of travel-but we had a great time"
This was a convienent hotel. We were catching another tour so needed to be close. Dublin is a walking city and this hotel was centrally located. The breakfast was not included but well worth the 10 Euro extra. Best breakfast we had on the trip. I would recommend it.

Overall a good hotel to stay in for convenience to the city. Computers in business centre a bit old. WiFi was down but having spent 45 mins trying to access a it was eventually informed of this.
