I was here for one night. Found the hotel staff very friendly and helpful. Nothing fancy but adequate and clean. I had a small dog with me. There was a restaurant close by that was very accommodating with my diet. Overall, this was a pleasant experience and close to where I needed to be.

"Great for pets to stay with family"
It was nice to have the family and the dog stay with us for only $25 (one-time fee). Close to Freddies and Starbucks. Wish the weather was better, but over continental breakfast was descent, make your own waffles and staff was courteous.

"Decent but unremarkable"
Everything about this particular hotel was just OK. We stayed for one night with kids while visiting neighboring Astoria. Our room was fine, but there were some areas that could have been cleaner. Beds were comfortable and the hotel was quiet. Furnishings were a bit dated, but useful and in working order. We did use the pool and spa area, and the kids […] enjoyed it. It seemed clean and well-kept, though again, utilitarian. The included breakfast was so-so. Fresh waffles were good. All in all, a decent value for the money, but with just a little more effort and updating, it could be a much more pleasant property. "old and in need of renovation"
The general feeling of this Shilo Inn is that it has been cleaned but not renovated since the late 80s. Even the posters in the elevator showed people still sporting late 80s haircuts and dress. "Great Hotel"
Easy to find as it's right near the Hwy. 101 We enjoyed the indoor heated pool and spa. Very well maintained. Easy check in with pleasant staff. Room was clean and spotless. Near all the landmarks and a short ride to Astoria. I would stay there again!

"Metal keys used instead of magnetic ones"
If we find we've forgotten to leave an extra key, should we bother to mail it back, or is the lock changed anyway? Either way, magnetic keys would seem to be more secure and inexpensive long-term.

For an older hotel, this Shilo Inn is very well kept up. The staff was personable - even the housekeeping staff. Our room was a good size, comfortable, and clean. Located in a good area fairly central to Astoria and Gearhart/Seaside. We would definately stay here again.

While staying in this hotel do not count on getting any sleep. With each flush of a toilet in neighboring rooms it sounded like the entire building was going to explode. All night long! It was awful. Colleen, at the front desk, made you feel at home. She was helpful about recommending places to eat and places to see. She made you feel comfortable, like a friend, not part of hotel management. R room was above the indoor pool so the room smelled like chlorine & was stuffy. Also when we tried to turn the thermostat on it was very loud & made a rattling noise!
"Shilo Inn Suites Hotel - Warrenton/Astoria"
This hotel was perfect. The noon check out time let us compete in the Great Columbia Crossing 10K and come back to the hotel and shower before checking out. Staff was very friendly. The pool and workout areas are also open 24 hours. Also Dooger's seafood restaurant iis just across the street.
Was very impressed with the continental breakfast. They had a variety of food to choose from and more than what I usually invision as a "continental breakfast."
Great stay for a good price. Close to everything at the coast. Would stay here again. If I was going to stay in the hotel room longer I would have gone into Seaside or Long Beach and paid more for a ocean view. It was a perfect place to stay if you did not need to stay around the hotel. The breakfast was outstanding!

The hotel was nice, the staff was nice, but my nonsmoking room smelled very strongly of old cigarette smoke. For what I paid, they really need to invest in professional deodorization.

Upon arrival, staff friendly and helpful. Let us have early entry as room was available. I called ahead to ask for 1st floor room so my husband's oxygen concentrator would not echo down from other floors. Room was available and convenient. Continental breakfast was okay, nothing outstanding, however the person setting up and helping with the breakfast […] was outstanding. Other guests were commenting on what a great fit she was for the position. (motherly, grandmotherly, warm, chipper and sassy) There is a very limited view available at this particular Shilo, no problem there, most people come to have a comfortable sleeping arrangement, which the Shilo has. The location of the hotel in Warrenton was ideal for us as we planned to visit both Astoria and Seaside, Oregon. There was no problem with noise from other guests, the surrounding neighborhood, or traffic. "Very convenient location"
We stayed only one night at this location, but found it to be better than the low rating we'd found. The facility is clean, the staff was helpful and the room itself was perfect! We really enjoyed having the continental breakfast complete with waffles. For us, a little bit more fresh fruit would've been nice. "Busy 4th weekend"
As difficult as it is to find a hotel with space availabe and affordable, we found one here! It included breakfast and a great view. Great last minute pick for those like us who don't plan that far in advance. Thanks Shilo!
"Stay in Astoria Instead"
This Shiloh tries hard, but misses the mark. The hotel is very well used and our room smelled teriible. The maid left a "biohazard " bag with laundry in our room (where did it come from????) People with bare feet and no shirts in the breakfast area. Astoria is only a few miles away and has much nicer accomodations.

Location is close to Astoria and Seaside, but located in the middle of a strip mall. The restaurant next door didn't seem too appealing, but there are two places within walking distance. Definitely great for a cheap beach weekend.

"Warrenton Shilo Inn-Convenient for Exploring Coast"
Easy drive from Cannon Beach! Only 10 minutes to downtown Astoria or to bridge to cross into Washington Peninsula. Astoria Farmer's Market on Sunday morning is wonderful. Don't miss walking to the top of the Astoria Column, and if you have kids, buy some planes for $1 a piece to launch off the top of the column. The kids will LOVE it! I stayed here […] with my 12 year old and 9 year old. As I walked down the hall to my room, I was dreading what I would find when I opened the door. Surprise! It was spacious, clean, and nice. Not fancy, but worked well for the three of us. Beds and bedding were comfortable. This is a older property and they have the old fashioned metal keys. The hallways look grim. The breakfast is not very good. After trying it the first morning, we opted to eat out the second morning. Also, breakfast runs from 5am-9am. This property has a good sized indoor pool which is nicely maintained. Hot tub was nice. Also a few cardio machines, steam room, and sauna. All well maintained. All in all for the reasonable price, especially in comparison to most places in this tourist area, this place really delivers. Great deal for the money! Just be aware that there is not much going on in Warrenton, and it is not a place where you can walk to any of the good beaches. "The Hotel room in Warrenton close to Astoria"
Overall Was pretty good indoor pool good service clean I think it the bathroom wall paper needed a little update but eveything else was pretty good I love the fact that there was a walgreens and a fred Mayer so close a i could walk to them very convienent! Good free contiental breakfast!
We had a wonderful time can't wait to go back. Seaside and astoria very close by. The dog had a wonderful time at the dog park around the corner.

"Disorganized"
I have usually found Shilo Inns to be predictably clean and organized. This time though, the room was set up for 2 people, not 4, and it looks like they've cut alot of corners. Vacuum running in the evening as well.

The rooms were clean and the bed and bathroom were very good. The only problem was that the pool area was not really that nice and the hot tub looked dirty and the water was not very hot. The accomadations of the hotel were great! The service not so much. The front desk personnel were less than friendly and unable or unwilling to help with questions. The free breakfast was ok except they were out of alot of items including syrup for the waffles and bagel and breakfast sandwiches and more. "Comfortable room and convenient location"
The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The hotel shares a parking lot with Walgreens, and is near other amenities. It was a very comfortable stop-over on our vacation.
