Me gusto el servicio de atencion Los felicito me gusta cuando la gente tambien nos atiende hablando español y todo salio bien no andan con rodeos fue una buena experiencia en este precioso hotel para mi y espero obtener ofertas y especiales para seguir visitandolo ja me gusto mucho la parte de la oficina Antigua muy bonito lugar visitenlo

Muy linda la estadía en el barco, instalaciones limpias y habitación cómoda. Agregaría microondas y heladeras en los cuartos.

Es fantástico tener la oportunidad de pasar una noche descubriendo este hotel cargado de historia. Pero ojo...pedir factura y comprobantes de pago con tarjeta, nos han llegado cargos que no tenemos ni idea de que son.

Es una experiencia diferente, fui con mis hijos adolescentes y fue interesante para ellos por la historia del barco. No estaría más de una noche o dos, le falta mantenimiento pero valió la pena.

Besides having the luxury of having the ocean front as scenery I could not have spent my birthday anywhere else. Wonderful experience, can't wait to go back!

The room I stayed in a Queen room did not look anything like the picture. It was very tiny and cramped.

I had a great time staying on the ship. Definitely look forward to doing it again one day

I took the self-guided historic tour and was absolutely fascinated with the Queen Mary. How fortunate to be able to be on one of the most famous historic ships and see historic photos and take in the beautiful vintage furnishings. The staff was wonderful. Really enjoyed getting a chance to stay on the Queen Mary. Nice accommodations, restaurants on ship a bit pricey but not terrible. The room heating and a/c is confusing, since you need to call the front desk to get it turned on, and nothing in the room mentions this. Getting to the ship is ok, but also a lot of cargo ships in the region, so some I had […] a half hour traffic jam getting the final 2 miles to the ship since a bunch of trucks were all waiting to off load. Also their internet prices are terrible. They want $6 for an hour, and something like $30 for a day. But overall enjoyed my stay and getting to check out the ship, and the various hops on board. Queen Mary is a beautiful place to stay. I have already recommended it to others.

I would like to stay at the hotel again to spend all my time on the Queen Mary. Next time I would like to spend 2 or 3 nights so I could take all the tours and visit the adjacent aquarium. This time I attended an event at the convention center. It was convenient but I wish I had more time to take the tours. The Sir Winston Churchill restaurant was excellent […] and the Promenade cafe was reasonably priced. Hope to have a chance to spend more time. Leer más

In a nutshell, the experience was terrible. In particular, the experience (service) at the two restaurants were far below standard.

i was expecting a beautiful old room, it was very dissapointing in its appearance. I knew it would be small but I didn't expect that it would not be attractive, what a shame the ship is not better cared for. Just a very tired old room for a large price.

Arrived to find a crowded, confused check-in desk, then off to our room to discover the toilet seat was hanging from the toilet by one loose bolt. Back to the desk. They only had a downgrade room, or we could wait for help. We'd come sandy and salty from the beach, had to wait an hour for the repair to be finished. The boat did not appear to be overbooked, […] so an upgrade would have been nice so we could shower off. Epoxy lining the cool old tub was coming off in large (2-3")pieces in 3 areas, and there was active mildew (it came off on a warm washcloth along the bottom of the tiles. The shower head sprayed in every direction but down, and wouldn't adjust. The toilet seat had something odd looking about it, another warm wet washcloth revealed it was some sort of soil, I prefer not to think what. We ate at one of the restaurants a couple of times, the table top was clean, but the side of the table had dried, crusted food along the edge at one table. We had good service the day it was busy, very poor service on a morning when the place was almost empty - Hubby didn't get his beverage until he was almost done eating, and he's not a fast eater. On the other hand, the Queen Mary is an awesome, wonderful, historical ship. We had hoped to self -tour it, they give you a pamphlet telling you where the interesting bits are - but they don't tell you anywhere on the paper they lock up at 6 pm -- as does much of the ship. We wandered about on our own, but missed much of what we'd hoped to see. No writing paper, rather odd for an historic hotel. And no matter where we kept our magnetic keys, we kept having to go back and have them redone. On the plus side, the beds and pillows were very comfortable and all the linens were clean and fresh. Our porthole opened to let the fresh air inside. Some of the furniture was original, as were most of the bath fixtures. The wood paneling on the hallway walls was truly grand. We were on a budget, Had never been to Long Beach and the reservation we made at a well known chain hotel turned out to be in a not so well area. There was hair on the sheets as if the bed linens had never been changed. Disgusted, we left and called Hotels.Com. The representative was able to locate the Queen Mary Hotel. Quite the experience, but overly priced.

I read a lot of the reviews before I booked our rooms. Frankly, she is an old ship with old fixtures and old bathtubs and old charm! We so thoroughly enjoyed our business stay, we are going back for a long weekend to really experience her majesty!

Hotel was nice; very interesting taking a self guided tour of the ship. Had a bad run in with a rude staff member in the parking lot. I contacted the manager who claimed he would take car of it. Other than that, very nice.

Had a great stay in the Queen Mary. Our deluxe king cabin was really good value for money. We selected the harbour view as advised by others, and had a super view out of the porthole window. Two things made our stay particularly memorable. Firstly, the ambience and quality of the food and drink in the Observation Bar and Sir Winston's Restaurant. Secondly, […] being transported back in time on the self-guided tour of the ship: a fantastic history tour and all for free as part of the stay on the Queen Mary. From the Grand Salon to the Engine Room, there are things to appeal to both sexes and particularly to seniors like ourselves. I love to stay on the Queen Mary. Have done this many times. The food is wonderful, and the staff are friendly. My only complaint is that the walls are thin and you can hear your neighbor talking, snoring, etc. If you get a neighbor that can't possibly phathom the idea to quit talking loudly at the door or in the halls at midnight, then you are up for […] the night. Adjoining walls are paper thin...you can hear everything your "neighbors" say and they can hear you! Beds are comfy, no real "amenities", no in-room coffee maker, etc. My husband and I were dissappointed.

I love staying here, mostly because of the nostalgia of the ship. The rooms are comfortable although they are small. The place would be spectacular with some much needed TLC. The Observation Bar is great, but the service is lacking, and it does not accommodate enough guests on a Friday or Saturday night. The only other lounge area, which, by the way, […] is great, is in the Sir Winston's Restaurant. We were told that it closes at 10:00. What a shame, that place is one of the nicest locations on board. Oh, the food is good, too. The Chelsea has some great steam pot of seafood. If you like seafood, you gotta try this place. Leer más

The room was a little bigger than I expected. We had a deluxe room with two twin beds. The beds were definitely for one person. It was a unique experience and close to the Long Beach convention center. You had to pay a parking fee which was an add on to the hotel stay. I would stay there if you want a diffenretnt hotel experience.

Stay for nostalgia reasons. It's a lovely and interesting place to stay. The thought of the lifestyle during those years is fascinating. I always have problems having to pay extra for Refrigerator, Microwave, and parking. The modest hotels costing about half include those items. Stay for the ambiance and the experience. My husband and I stayed at the Queen Mary Hotel for two awesome nights before we left on our Hawaiin cruise. It was like walking into another time.If you stay at the hotel you can take a free self guided tour, which is what we did. So cool and very interesting! Their is a free shuttle that will take you around, which was perfect for us since we did […] not have a car. The shuttle driver was very helpful because since we had never been to the area before, we had no idea where to go. He took us to a nice area of Long beach that had restaurants and shops right on the water and we had an awesome day! The hotel staff were some of the most pleasant people that i have ever dealt with in a hotel setting. The restaurants that we did eat at on the Queen Mary were excellent! They had a buffet breakfast where the food was fantastic and you had alot of great choices. We had lunch on the ship both days and again it was great food and service! Dinner both nights were room service, which was great because we were tired because of the three hour time difference from N.Y. When it was time to leave to go on our cruise, the porter got us a Lincoln Town car for cheaper than it would of cost for a cab, to take us to the Port of L.A. which was about a 20 minute drive. There are only two things that I regret about the Queen Mary Hotel, one being i was too tired to take any of the other tours that they offered,and two is that I couldn't stay longer!! Why would you want to stay at a chain hotel when their is a piece of history where you could stay for a very reasonable rate. We had a Deluxe King Cabin with a harbor view for a very reasonable price. The Queen Mary was not just a cruise ship in her past, but a war ship in WWII....so awesome!!! If I didn't live on the other side of the country I would definately visit the Queen Mary Hotel more often. If I ever get back to California in that area I will stay there again!! Leer más

I would say that this is an amazing place for a couple to get away, enjoy some along time and soak up all the history. We brought 4 kids in January 2012 ages 10-14 and they thought it was cool to be on the ship but after about 2 hours of walking around and taking a guided tour they kind of thought it was boring. There is no pool and the arcade is very […] limited. The bars don't allow kids to even go in there after a certain time if you were thinking about having them join you for happy hour. There's not much to see outside the ship as it appears the "small" city walk has been closed. You can take a free shuttle to downtown but I'd recommend staying on that side of the bay if you plan on going there anyways. A short trip over to the boat with a tour might satisfy your kids more than spending a night. Leer más

Surprisingly roomy and comfortable, with the bonus of the history of the boat and all the celebrities who traveled on it. The age was integrated with modern amenities nicely.

I brought my family visiting from abroad and they were very impressed of Queen Mqry and it's accommodations ...and everyone asked including my family from California locals how i found it ... Hotels.com is the best! I always find great locations coupled with great deals!

We attended a steampunk convention at the Queen Mary. It was a perfect setting for our historically-based fantasy event. The ship oozes the history at every turn. We had been told that the rooms were small, but that was not what we found there. It was the size of most hotel rooms, with old or antique furnishings and a huge bathroom. The bed was comfy, […] too. Room was cramped....light in the bathroom was out....no maid service till 5 PM...will not be back.

First, I will say the one complaint I have; while flipping through the channels, I was grossed out to find a porno channel. I was not expecting it and thankfully my kid was in the bathroom. Very, upsetting. It was a little Noisy due to the nightlife of the ship, but I was too tired to care. The beds were very comfortable and the room was clean and tidy. […] It was like staying in a museum, we walked around the ship several times exploring its treasures. The employees and visitors were delightful. We will be back again. If you have any interest in history, you will appreciate this beautiful ship. It is like stepping back in time. The rooms reflect what I would think is the era of the vessel. The staff are incredibly professional, the restaurants super. The location is great if staying in the Long Beach area for business. I would stay here again.

Great ambience if you like the feel of an old ship. Don't expect spacious accomodations, the rooms are small, the bath rooms very small. The look and feel of the rooms is very in keeping with the times and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. This was a great experience. The rooms are very spacious and clean. It is old but that is the charm. I would definitely stay there again, but bring more money to do all the tours and eat there.

Our single night stay was great. The price was much better than expected, compared to nearby hotels, and the history of the ship was felt wherever we went. Our room was spacious and the beds were incredibly comfortable. Can't wait to stay there again. Thank you for a great night.

I have stayed on the queen mary several times over the last 25 years. I had 2 rooms one for me one for my family. I woke up to find all my belongings gone from my cabin. I had no shoes, no clothes, i had to borrow from one of my relatives, When I notified front desk, I was promptly escorted along with my entire family off the ship, and mind you i had […] no shoes still and had to leave that way. The door to my cabin was old and obviously someone had managed to slip it open. I still had one more day left to stay, and they kept my 100 dollar deposit on both rooms, saying that i had damaged the door lock on one of my rooms, and the locks were exspensive. What morons. I may never spend the night on that ship again. oh ya and now the managment is really snotty and uneffective Leer más

The service was not good from the get go. Plus we only asked for one key when we check in, at 6am some one with a. Key to our room tried to walk in, then again at 820am. We called down to the front desk, and they sent someone up to check it out. An hour later they told us it was house keeping. A great hotel.. It's full of history and a great place to get pictures. I love the sea and the idea to be in a ship was wonderful, but i was more than I spected. The are several kind of buses that takes you to Longbeach Downtown, and it's free! Wonderful experience!! The only thing missing is the heater.. but I was good!
