Cambridge Suites Hotel - Toronto

Great place to stay. I shared a room with a friend and we spent the weekend shopping and going out to clubs. +Very friendly staff. +Very clean rooms. +Our room even had wine glasses :) -I wish the wireless internet was free. -the gym is very small, but on the plus side it never seemed to be very busy.

This was my first stay at this hotel although I have been to Toronto many times and I would definitely choose it again based on convenience of location, availability of fridge and microwave, and helpfulness of staff. Furnishings could use updating but room was good size and well laid out.

I was nothing but pleased with Cambridge Suites - reasonably rates, nice room and lay out, good location, attentive staff... My friend tweeted how much he liked it and they sent up a complimentary bottle of wine. I also liked how they have sliding doors for bedroom, so you can open them and interact with whomever you are staying with without feeling […] cramped into one space or another, yet have the option of privacy if you are staying in separate quarters. I can honestly say I cannot fault this hotel in any way. We had a wonderful stay there. The Hotel's situation is ideal, just a short walk from most of the must see sites. The staff were professional, friendly and went out of there way to be helpful, there was always a friendly smile and nothing was too much trouble from the chambermaids to the front […] desk. Excellent front desk staff, Andy was alway helpful with directions and recommendations. The hotel is located in the center of all city attractions and is a short walk from the subway system and trolly rail buses.The rooms are very nice with plenty of space.

Six day stay . Comfortable well located hotel. Very pleasant staff .No traffic noise-at least in our room.Elevators available without delay .Highly recommended.

Our suite was clean and tidy and well-equipped. 30-something inch TV in the bedroom and a similar sized TV in the lounge, which is separated from the bedroom by a set of double sliding doors. A microwave and a sink in the lounge mean you can make your own drinks and light snacks should you wish to. Very pleased with the room. The hotels rooms were clean, The hotel area was safe and easy to walk. The room was a good value for the price. I will return to the hotel again.

This hotel generally receives very positive reviews and I was not in any way disappointed with my stay there in mid-October 2011. The location is very central in the downtown core with a short walk from the Sheraton Centre stop on the Airport Express bus from Pearson. Room facilities included ample storage space, two TVs, microwave, coffee maker and a very comfortable king bed. I thought that the continental breakfast offering at $15 was overpriced and there are plenty of alternatives close by - Sunset Grill is closest and OK for a reasonably priced breakfast but for a wider choice try Quinns/Shopsys a bit further along West Richmond on the north side of the street. The front desk crew was amazing every time we ask for something. I'd come back just for the people that work there.

very convenient and very comfortable and spacey! Would recommend it to any visitor to Toronto and the price is moderate! Too bad they did not throw in the WI-FI in the room!

steps away from the EATON SHOPPING MALL and some smaller malls. There is nothing else to say, this hotel is the best. I have stayed in 90% of the hotels in downtown Toronto, with out a doubt I can say this hotel is the best of the best. The furniture and decor could use some updating, but the rooms are spacious. The most standout thing about this hotel was the in-room amenities: separate living area, microwave, refrigerator. This is the second time we stayed at the Cambridge Suites. The rooms are clean, comfortable and spacious. The service was professional and helpful, though we didn't really need much. The location was very convenient to all downtown attractions with the subway stop about a block away. Would definitely stay again the next time visiting Toronto.

This was our first time staying at Cambridge Suites, and we booked it primarily for the location and the special rate we were able to obtain. Great location for the theatres and excellent restaurants. Able to park car in their underground parking and not touch it until we left next morning - a huge plus for Toronto. A few negatives however: - the […] air conditioner didn't cool the room as much or as quickly as we would have liked, despite putting the setting way down. - the shower head needed a good dose of CLR or something like it! It simply dribbled ... one doesn't expect that when paying these rates (even special rates.) - the smoke detector was missing! Casing was screwed to the ceiling, but main components were gone! (Luckily there wasn't a fire whilst we were there!) I brought all these things to the attention of front desk, and receptionist apologized and made a note - hopefully they will be cleared up for next guest. If you stay here, there is a fantastic all-day breakfast place (Sunrise Grill) just a few doors down!! Leer más

Let me start off by saying hotel was beauiful however the prizes we were told for parking were incorrect along with the room we reqested. We had to chage our room twice to water problem in the bathroom. The restaurant was not very clean as the cups and glass were dirty and we only had breakfast there. It was also very cold in the hotel and the rooms […] themsleves. I will stay when they did ask how our stay was and i explained our concerns they did absorb the parking cost for our two days. Ideal for visiting the city centre. Spacious room which fits 2 + 2 easily. Couple of small niggles - charging for Wifi when there are 2 free PCs in the business centre, and charging $22/night parking is a bit steep.

We have stayed at this hotel a few times and would make it our hotel of choice every stay but sometimes the rates are just too high. I really like having the separate bedroom and living areas and the hotel is very convenient to the Eaton Centre and subway system. Great price by comparison to other hotels in the downtown core. Excellent location and being in the financial district, a bit quieter at night than other locations could be. Very lovely suites with lots of room and having a small kitchen are is really ideal.

After a bad flight into Toronto the welcome we got when we arrived at the Cambridge was friendly and very pleasant. Good location for sightseeing and the main tourist attractions. Restaurant service and quality and presentation of food was excellent.

The hotel is very conveniently located in the down town area, couple of minutes away from the Eaton Center and Queen street where there are many shops and restaurants. It is also a short walk from King street, the theater district. Queen subway station is also 2 minutes away from the hotel, which is also very convenient. Internet is for a fee, but we had some interruptions using wifi. We ended up using the wired internet, which resolved the problem. Our main concern was that we didn't feel that housekeeping was as good as this should be. The floor of the bathroom was obviously not well wiped everyday. However overall, taking into consideration the excellent location, the comfort of the room, and the good rate we were lucky to get, we would recommend this hotel and probably stay in it next time we are in Toronto. We were very pleased with all aspects of this hotel. Clean rooms,excellent service with friendly staff. It's close to all things downtown. Would be nice if they had a shuttle service. We would recommend this hotel to all. Was a fabulous stay.
