Hemos estado alojados en este hotel hace apenas unos días. Nuestra primera vez en Nueva York y la verdad es que sin ninguna pega. El Hotel perfectamente ubicado, limpio, buen trato del personal y la habitación con todas las comodidades. La cama muy cómoda, algo de agradecer cuanto estás 12 horas al día caminando. Maquína de café y té a tu disposición todos los días en la habitación. A 2 minutos de Times Square y a 50 metros del edificio de oficinas del periódico The New York Times. Para repetir sin duda!

Estuve 10 días en total, en habitación individual. Muy cómodo, muy limpio. Siempre disponibilidad de los baños compartidos, continuamente limpiados. Lo recomiendo 100%, por ubicación y hotel en sí. Habitación algo pequeña pero al estilo de los tamaños de Manhattan.

El hotel está muy bien situado. La relación calidad precio es buena, el alojamiento en NY es caro. Las habitaciones son pequeñas, pero para escapadas es perfecto.

"no es ni mucho menos un hotel de 3 estrellas"
el hotel estaba sucio unos cristales que no se veia ni la calle, un plato de ducha que no podias ni darte la vuelta ni agacharte , si se caia el jabon tenias que salir para cogerlo, no tenia vañera , era pequeño. no volvere a este hotel nunca, decien que existe parking a 10 euros dia pero es para dejar el coche el dia que llegas y sacarlo el dia que […] te vas no puedes sacarle durante el dia,ya que te cobran 60 eruros diarios.Todo que anuncian es mentira. En general, todo bien, a mi parecer algo caro en relacion con las instalaciones. La habiatacion con 2 camas de 90 bien, su baño y un armario minusculo pero para 2 personas es suficiente. We are and extended family of 8 from New Zealand, and spent 8 nights in New York staying in the Skyline Hotel over 21st Dec. 2011 to 29 Dec. 2011. We shared 2 Deluxe Rooms with 2 Queen Beds in each, The rooms were great, clean, warm (air-conditioned) , great shower walk/bathroom. Staff were all friendly and helpful. "Liked the Hotel."
No complaints about the Hotel or Staff. There is a nice 24 hr Deli across the road. Room was about what I expected for the price. The imediate neighborhood was a bit dirty but I felt safe enough. I wouldn't recomend it for families with young kids. I would stay there again. It's a bit old school but that was kid of cool too. I do Love NY.

"Hotel Skyline in New York City-Close to everything"
Walking distance to Times Square and close to 5th Avenue and all other attractions. Very convenient location of the Hotel.
"Very Clean and Reasonably Priced"
Although the hotel is a 10 minute walk to the theater district it is worth the effort. It is very easy to drive to and has parking under the hotel. The hotel is spotless and reasonably priced.

This hotel is a bit of a walk (5 blocks) from times square and Rockefeller center, but it was CLEAN, comfortable, has reasonably priced parking, a pool, and takes small pets. What's not to like. Also, very brightly lit at night. Front desk staff were pleasant and competent. A very good experience in NYC.

We were very impressed by the service we received. The condition of the room wasn't the best. There was lots of peeling paint, and the room was pretty small. There was no tub, just a shower. Hotel was good, I would have rated it higher were it not for an extremely overpriced breakfast buffet at the restaurant as well as an absolutely awful dinner experience, I mean absolutely awful.
I thought the accomodations were gtreat for the price and location. We would stay there again.

We had a great time staying here for NYE 2012. We stayed the 30th and 31st. The hotel is great, just close enough to things to still be able to walk but far enough away as to not be in the middle of the madness. Didn't expect such nice, large rooms this close to Times Square on Thanksgiving weekend at such a great price! Easy walk to see the Macy's Parade, shopping, and Radio City Music Hall! Everyone was very kind to 3 generations of my family!

I used to stay at this hotel all the time when my kids were young because of the pool. It's still a good deal for the price, but is very basic. For those who prefer a little luxury, this hotel is not for you. We stayed over the Christmas holiday, and for some reason the room was very over-heated with no way to adjust the temp. "Skyline NYC - a diamond in the rough"
Took two kids to NYC and found Skyline not much to look at from the outside but clean and comfortable on the inside. Nice hotel for me, an average Joe who likes to carry his own bags. If you go, eat a great breakfast at City Lights Diner just up the block.

We were very pleased as it is a safe neighborhood, within walking distance of subway, theaters, Times Square and Rockefeller Center. Hotel has a very nice, roomy restaurant with good food. When we first arrived we attempted to see if it was possible to check in early. The first women I spoke to wouldn't even look at me when I was speaking to her and was incredibly rude. The only thing she said was "check back at 2." No help at all and not even slightly nice about it. A minute later my boyfriend went up to the other woman at the front […] desk and she was beyond helpful and said our room was ready right away so clearly that other woman didn't even look. The hallway smelled strongly of smoke so I guess it's not a smoke free place. We upgraded to a king size room and it didn't smell of smoke and seemed clean. There was a nice flat screen and the room was a good size. Parking is convenient and the restaurant in the hotel seems nice. "Hotel Skyline in New York City-Convenient Location"
Wallet friendly convenient location close to Times Square neat & clean rooms but the mattress looks like old and sunken. I could not make local calls from my room when complained the receptionist was rude and all my five nights stay the problem was not fixed but overall not a bad place to stay.

Had a great time at Skyline hotel - it is out of the busy areas of 5-8th Avenue's - but a nice area - restaurants close by are cheaper than Times Square area. Across the road is a great New York Pizza shop called Fat Sals - plenty of Deli's all around hotel, Subway next door. We had lunch one day at hotel it was nice - but can get similar food alot […] cheaper outside of hotel - would recommend if to tired or cold to go out. Room was larger than expected and very clean. Also their are laundromats in this area - they charged us $10 for a bag of washing cleaned, dried and folded. We truly enjoyed our stay at the Skyline. You really can't beat the price and the cost for parking. The staff was exceptionally nice, courteous and helpful. The location was good and the neighborhood was just fine, a big change from decades ago when the area was not as safe and cleaned up. A great spot. A little bit of a wall from the sights but not bad considering it's ny and all.... The hotel itself was great. But the room service not so much. I called to see if I could get food sent up and the man put me on hold and started speaking Spanish to someone else for about 3 minutes...

"Skyline hotel"
THere were some bumps staying here. The heat was way too hot in the room and the conceirge was NOT helpful at all. The bellman was more helpful, so that evened out. The location was great. The restaurant/bar downstairs was good. The rooms were an ok size for NY. It was fine, very basic and fine.

"Great skyline view! $10/night Parking!"
My mom and I stayed here in December when we came to town to see the Rockettes. The hotel has a gorgeous nighttime skyline view of the Empire State Bldg, and Times Sq. skyscrapers. We would have easily given this hotel a 5 if the room hadn't been so hot. On the 4th floor, the heat from lower floors rose to make our room hot and our a/c was not working […] to be able to moderate the temperature. We LOVED the 10/night parking charge (if you don't go in and out but just park until checkout). Best deal in Manhattan! The cleaning staff was also very friendly. A great stay except for the heat! We weren't expecting too much based on the price we got but I would definitely stay at this hotel again. The rooms were very clean and we had a nice view. The staff were very friendly, parking garage available & plenty of food options. I noticed on the door that it's also a "pet friendly" hotel. The only 2 complaints we had was the temperature of the […] room & the lock on our bathroom door was broken. The room was too hot for us. We had the AC on all night & it barley made a difference. Very close to Times square and everything. Safe, convenient to deli's across the street and within walking distance to so much! The indoor pool was great for my daughter. Very clean and having the parking was great. Would definitely stay here again.

"good location/not worth the money/poor management"
Rooms are specious, bad breakfast is in adjacent sports bar, no wifi (sucks), ok pool, overall impression is it is rundown place that owners are trying to squize every penny out, without wanting to reinvest in capital improvement. we put the bags in storeroom for couple of hours (USD1/per item, dont check in backpacks - count as suitcase) and couldn't […] get them back for 30 min, they were busy with somehting else. The only good comment is the cost of the hotel, but obviously you get what you pay for. Our room had a constant mildew musky odour from the time we checked in till we left. We never drank the water from our room as it stunk of sewerage! We always went across to the nearby shops & bought bottled water. The cleaners need a good lesson on how to clean […] using proper disinfectant products as this was NEVER evident during our stay. Hotel needs a serious update (ie: carpets replaced & a good clean from top to bottom). About 10 min walk to Times Square. Some of the bell hops need to learn how to smile as well.
