Comfort Inn & Suites Zoo SeaWorld Area

This is a nice hotel with clean comfortable rooms, Unfortunately our room was on the freeway side and you could hear all the traffic noise even with the a/c running so i would recommend this hotel if you can get a room on the other side of the building

We loved it. Clean, convenient, beds and pillows very comfortable, staff friendly, I could go on and on. The only concern was the very, very tight parking places but it worked out. This hotel is great!

We stayed at this hotel for three nights in November and had a great time. The staff were friendly, the room was clean, we got free wi-fi (although parking was $8/night) which was great to be able to check out what was near us, directions, park hours, etc. We wound up renting bikes for a day - highly recommend Stay Classy bike rentals - as there is […] a bike trail that runs right from the hotel all the way to the beach. Old Town San Diego is just on the other side of the freeway, and the Fashion Valley Mall (with Cheesecake Factory) is just a three minute drive as well. The free breakfast had a good selection but we weren't wild about the food itself - pretty manufactured for the most part and had to pick and choose what would taste good. friendly staff, very roomy and nice free breakfast

The hotel was very clean and organized. I was well taken care of when i checked in. Staff member are polite and greetful. The beds were comfortable except that the pillows are a little small....maybe a little bigger would be nice. When it came to having breakfast pretty crowded but i was still able to get food perhaps a little bit more room just because […] the tables are so close theres hardly any room to get across...other than that i had a good experience here...i would definitely book to stay here again. I will definately come back to this hotel if we ever come back to San Diego. The bed was extremely comfortable. The room was clean with modern furniture. The location was perfect also. Very close to the city, downtown and Sea World.

This place is a decent value for the money. Nothing special about the rooms here. Pretty outdated. At least the one we were in anyway. Seems to be a very popular place for kids as they are EVERYWHERE. Don't stay here if you don't like kids. Best part was the extensive breakfast options. Good stuff. I'd stay here again just for the breakfast.

It was a good hotel to stay w/the kids.. good location close to sea world and minutes away from good restaurants...

When driving up to the hotel with our grand kids in the car, a scantily clad woman (bra and panties with netting) , who looked like a prostitute, was entering a truck across from the hotel. Our room had many staines on the carpet. The continental breakfast was not supposed to close until 9:30 am. We got there at 9:20 am and found a locked door.

The Overpowering smell of the waffle maker stank the breakfast area. Beds were not so comfortable and pillows were too soft.

Friendly staff, very clean, was surpized to have to pay for parking, but it was worth it!!! Breakfast was crouded, but good. I would use this hotel again!!

We've stayed here before. Great breakfast choices, very convenient location and rooms are quite nice. We really liked having the small separation between our bed and the kids' bunkbeds- it made it feel a little more private!

We were there on business/fun trip. Our room was very nice, clean, and confortable. Breafast was good, but a little crowded, but was well stocked. Staff was helpful and courteous. Would stay again.

We spend the weekend visiting Sea World and the Zoo and this location was perfect!! We were traveling with 5 children and the room was spacious enough for all of us to fit comfortable! The breakfast experience was a nightmare!! Very long lines, no where to sit, and had to bring our food back to our room to eat! Other than that it was pretty great!

We had two rooms, one with 2 beds and a separate room with a Sofa bed and TV. The 2nd room was a king with a separate room with bunkbeds & TV. The kids enjoyed. The rooms had microwave, ref, coffe maker & supplies, dryer, ironing board which were very convenient. The BF was crowded with guests & I would suggest they make it bigger & provide more waffle […] makers. The BF selection was decent & the staff were working very hard to keep the place clean & the food replenished. Good family hotel. However, they need more good working elevators with decent floors. We were in bldg 4 & the floor of the elevator really need upgrading. I had two trips with service people with me as they do not have a service elevator. BF was not accessible directly from my room, I had to go to the main building & go up all the way to the 4th floor & they only had 1 elevator. It is good value though for the price we paid. Leer más

3 adults & 3 kids stayed in suite for trip to S.D. Room was smaller than we thought but it worked out fine. Very convenient as it close to sea world & mission beach, were we spent most of out time. No major issues with hotel or staff. Room was clean and staff was courteous & helpfull. Would stay here again.

The hotel was excellent close to everything sea world , mission beach, old town, outlets , even the drive to Lego land was easy. Breakfast was good , hotel service was good and friendly. Very nice hotel for only being a 2 almost 3 star hotel, I rate it at a 3-4 star has all the amenities that you need. Would stay again !!!! We stayed at this hotel for 7 days. And loved our stay there. The hotel was one of the cleanest properties we have stayed at. The staff went out of their way to make the stay pleasant. Polite helpful and fast.. Beds were comfy and room was cleaned well every single day. I would say you get more than your monies worth when you stay here.

Stayed for 3 nights in October, the hotel is ideally located for many SD attractions if you have a car, but not much nearby if you are walking. The suites are comfortable, but the elevator by the pool needs a little attention since people come wet from the pool and the floorboards are swollen. The separate room is great for kids and has a bunkbed, which […] they loved and can be great considering the inherent dangers of a bunkbed itself, no problem there. The problem lies with the big angular drawer handles on the bottom bed. On the last night of our stay our youngest fell off a very shallow depth and shouldn't have been a problem except she hit her face on the drawer handle and split her lip, which required stitches in the hospital. The room was spacious with 2 queen beds and a sofa. Plenty of space for our 2 kids to spread out. The pool and whirlpool areas were clean and inviting. The desk staff was efficient and polite. The breakfast bar was wonderful. There were many healthy options and a great waffle bar. My only complaint would be that the breakfast area was extremely small. […] Get there before 8am if you would like to sit down! Like this hotel cause it is clean and close to the freeway. Breakfast is a little crazy and the elevator needs work but otherwise great hotel. We will book again. This was our second visit.

Just came back after 3 nights stay in Oct 2011,booked and paid in full through hotels dot com with the best rate online. Hotel is very clean, convenient location close to all attractions (specially if you have a car). Hot breakfast items offer a nice start of the day. We are a family of 4 and were comfortably fit in the 2-queen beds room. The pool & […] hot tub are nice but not so big so it might be awkward if hotel is busy. Weather wasn't hot so i didn't test the A/C which looked old but in good condition. There was enough parking space on the street so i even avoided the $7.95 fee per day. The only minor drawback is the noisy bathroom fan (but who cares!) My minibar wasn't working and was replaced right away upon my request. The front desk was fantastic, very helpfully and kindly upgraded our room to a suit. The location was perfect with the hotel circle bus that takes you to fashion valley mall and city transit where you can get a trolley (tram) or buses to anywhere you need to go! A must is Pacific Beach which you can relax on a huge amount of sand and take a nice long […] walk along to Mission Beach. Sea world is worth the look if you are into marine life, you can even touch a beautiful dolphin and make sure you if your going to check out the zoo you get there early because you will need the whole day just to work around the huge zoo! Easy access to all the places we wanted to visit, good service tv remote and extra pillows given right away to us. Only problem is the sofa bed was very, very uncomfortable for 2 middle age women and parking was so narrow, tight.

I would definitely recommend this hotel to people. It was conveniently located and was near a lot of fun attractions. The complimentary breakfast was delicious and the hotel and hotel room were clean and well maintained.

Booked room 2 months in advance. When I arrived at the hotel I thought I could switch to the kids bunk/separated rooms. My name was put down, but never received a call for a different room. Me and my husband enjoyed our hotel room and will be staying here again. We loved that breakfast was included and it was more than just cereal and muffins. Our room was clean, comfortable and room service was great. We were checked in quickly and the gentlemen helping us were friendly and helpful.

We reserved two queen beds, what we got was two double beds. I am 6-4 and barely fit on a queenand I don't fit on a double. When we checked into our room, there was a flyer under the door from a Celena's Pizza. When we got home late that evening we ordered pizza, thinking that this resturaunt was a hotel approved vendor. Come to find out later that […] these people had snuck into the hotel and put these flyers under the doors. Three of our party got sick from the food and when I confronted the management about it, they told me that they have been trying to keep these people out of the hotel. That tells you about the security at the property. The hotel is very close to Sea World and the beach, but i would not recommend staying there. Leer más

This was a great hotel. They had a fantastic breakfast, close to shopping, dining, airport and major attractions. Good service, comfy beds, extra pillows already in the room. Nice pool and hot tub. The only downside was we were there for the large power outage and the hotel had absolutely no information and no contingency plans. They really should have […] a plan and train their staff so that their guests have all the necessary information to stay calm and feel safe. Everyone was super friendly. I loved that they had directions printed out for the guests to all the local places, we used it everyday all day. I would stay here again!

The King bed room was large and clean. Bathroom was huge. All staff were friendly but Bobby helped us the most. Good parking lot. Nice pool. Front desk gave us an amazing list of suggested sights and places to eat. Sala Thai was fantastic! Easy access to the highway and close to all attractions. Note the times for the breakfast room - it is busy!

Our room was spacious and met our needs for our 4 day stay. The front desk staff was friendly and very helpful is solving problems and information. The only negative thing about the hotel was that the breakfast room is too small for the number of guests staying at that hotel. You need to eat earlier not at a peak hour if you want a seat. Was ok probably wouldn't stay again, probably could of found somewhere nicer for same price Just not use to staying at such a small hotel didn't like the small pool. Free breakfast and selection was nice, cheap parking fee was also great. This was the only hotel i found that had good reviews even better then the high end hotels.

This place was ok. The staff would not let us check in until 3pm (tough when you've been driving all night and most of the day and arrive a little early). The room was decent and the breakfast was good.
