"Nice hotel in good location."
Upon arrival we were greeted by a very friendly and attentive porter who took care of our car immediately. We booked and had confirmation for a King room and were given a Twin room. So we had to go back to reception where people were lining up (as it was New Year's Eve) and were told that the hotel was fully booked and that this is what we would get […] ... They offered to push the two twin beds together .... Well, we pointed out that we have a confirmed King room. The whole situation dragged on and on and finally a very nice young man took over and found us a King room which turned out to be a bit spacier than the Twin. We had to change our plans for the afternoon, though, as we were running out of time. All rooms overlook the Brisbane river and the bathroom is nice and spacious. Parking is a hefty 40.00 per night (I remember the times when it was free for hotel guests) and the hotel charges a 1.5 % fee for any credit card payment. "Weekend Stay"
While the Hotel is convienently situated, to charge an additional $40 pn for parking is rude. Rooms were a little pokey and furnishings some what tired. Staff were friendly and efficient. As a local I would not recommend this hotel for a weekend break, opting instead for one of the many city appartments at half the price.

Great position, on the river, near the park and close to great restaurants. Need to get their act together with Breakfast. Food great, just service to our table was disorganised. "Nice stay - Formal Accomodations"
This hotel was really nice and beautifully appointed. A bit formal for my personal taste but certainly a great stay. Would recommend to anyone visiting Brisbane.

We stayed here the night of our wedding - was amazing. Really clean and great service. Would recommend this hotel to everyone.
"Good Hotel, but..."
The hotel is very classy and situated in a great locale. However, for a hotel with such high standards and a history of service, it lacked free internet and wifi. The concierge service was impersonal and failed to meet expectations. Lastly the hotel was undergoing construction which was not disclosed prior to arrival.
"HOTEL STAMFORD PLAZA A BRISBANE"
Excellent Hôtel très bien situé dans une ville très agréable. Le personnel est très serviable et toujours souriant. Outre le cadre, les facilités (restaurants, Bar,Spa,...) sont dignes d'un 5*. Il me tarde de pouvoir y séjourner à nouveau.
