The super King room was very clean, new wood floors and very comfortable bed. There was a nice dest chair with firm support for my lower back. Bathroom was clean but small. "Close to ETSU"
This turned out to be a great hotel... especially for the price. The rooms were remodeled and the water was hot... what more could you ask for.

the best room we have rented for a long time! it was clean, fully stocked and the staff went the extra mile! close to the racetrack for the fans and good eating close by! we will stay there again next time we need a room within 70 mile of this hotel. worth the drive!

This hotel is probably not bad for the price, but it's old and unsafe feeling. People right outside my door talking loudly and even banged on the door at one point. Wouldn't recommend it, for a few dollars more you coud get something bright and clean. Not saying it was dirty, just worn out feeling.

We were very pleased with our stay. So convenient to the interstate, and a quick drive to Elizabethton, where our conference was held. The hotel is being refurbished, and some painting was going on, but it did not inconvenience us.

It was very comfortable and we had friendly service. The front desk was very helpful. We didn't spend a lot of time in our room other than to sleep, but the accommodations were more than satisfactory. We would stay there again. I was hoping for a mini-fridge to stash our snacks, but it wasn't a hardship to be without.

The room was clean and beds were comfortable. The lady at the front desk at the time was not very personable, but overall is was a fairly good stay.

This was a great spot for my husband and I to spend one night. It's located right off the interstate. The employees were very friendly and efficient. The room was clean and very presentable. However, we were placed in room 113 that is apparently next to some type of equipment room. Some type of generator/compressor would kick on about every 15-20 mins and vibrate the walls and was extremly noisy. The air unit made a loud ticking noise. The manager couldn't have been nicer & more accommodating, helping with logging on my laptop. Very clean, thick & grassy dog-walk area. Have already made another reservation for next week.
"Red Roof has nothing useful in room"
The room had nothing that many other hotel rooms have now. There is no fridge, no coffepot, no hair dryer, no iron. The room I was in didn't even have hangers for jackets. It had a single paper packet of shampoo and soap, but I was in a room for two people.

Not the most fancy. Not the least expensive. This is simply a good room for the price. Plenty of space inside and the best part is the location. If you want to eat on the cheap then it is close. "So-so"
I don't travel much, but I at least expect to not have to drag a hair dryer when I do go. I at least expect lobby coffee to taste like something more than hot water. I at least expect a tad bit more than a tablespoon of shampoo (only) in a ketchup-packet style dispenser in the bathroom. And all the rooms are outside-entry - no hallways. There was a […] dog pile on the 2nd landing near the stairs for the whole 3 days we were there. When asked, they did provide a hair dryer, another tablespoon of shampoo, and one more towel. "Great hotel for short trips!"
I spent one night at this hotel on a visit to a college campus. The room was clean, fairly large, and the staff was extremely pleasant and willing to go out of their way to help. I will definitely stay there again.

"Beyond Expectations"
I was really impressed with the room. It appears to be recently updated. It was also very clean and comfortable. It is a great room and beyond what you would expect for the rate.
"Nice hotel to stay at in Johnson City"
I was pleasantly surprised at how nice this hotel was. It was wonderful to be able to bring my small dog with me and not have to pay an extra charge for him. Lots of nearby shopping and restaurants. I'll definitely stay here again if I need to be in Johnson City, and will look for other Red Roof hotels when I travel.

I always read reviews prior to booking any hotel. This hotel is very acceptable...remember, you're not paying for a Hilton, so don't expect more than you should. However, for a Red Roof Inn, this property comes highly recommended!

I have had very bad experiences with hotel stays in the past and was hoping that the stay at the Red Roof Inn would not be a repeat of other hotels that have left me wanting a refund and an apology for very unsatisfactory hotel conditions and staff attitude towards guests. I found what looked to be a bed bug in one of the beds in my room. It looked like the pictures of a bed bug and was flat like a tick. Did'nt sleep too well after that.

"Very nice for the price"
Great accomodations for the price, seemed fairly new and very clean. Easy check-in and nice people. Not too far from downtown.

The hotel was close to dozens of hotels and was conveniently right off I-26. The staff was very friendly and fast. Our room was clean, fresh-smelling and spacious. Even the coffee was freshly ground in the lobby.

Simple, clean, quiet (at least on the back side), comfortable. Very friendly staff. Turning onto Broyles from Roan required waiting a few traffic light cycles due to heavy traffic. Hotel needs better guest ability to print boarding passes.
