Hotel, Food and staff are great - their shuttle service to and from the airport is outrageous - 8 Euros each way! And no guarentee that you can get a seat!

Excellent hotel. Immaculate spacious room, very comfortable and quiet. However it was some distance from the airport although there is a shuttle bus at 8 euros per person or alternatively a 17 euro taxi ride. Watch out for the 22 euro per person breakfast buffet charge which will be added to the room rate quoted - it makes a big difference when travelling […] with a family. Leer más

We had an early flight from MUC on 31 december so we needed to stay a night close to the airport. We took the Moevenpick because it was really cheap, close to the airport and looked nice on pictures and revieuws. We didn't need anything to fancy because we just stayed one night. It turned out to be an excellent choice, upon arrival we where helped and […] checked in really fast and without any problems, they signed us up for a wake-up call and an airportshuttlebus. We walked to our room and it was nice, tidy and clean and actually more fancy than we thought. So if you want to stay close to Munich airport in a good hotel, take this one (unless you already know something better ;)) Leer más

Nice hotel, but not so nice surrounding. Only minus had that we wanted to sleep and there was some noicy customers talking long time in corridor and room door did not keep any noice... Otherwise good hotel for one night sleep before flight

Lovely, guiet hotel near Munich Airport.

This was by far the best hotel we stay in our month long vacation in Europe. Hotel staff was great, rooms clean, food was good. The location for us was far. We went for Oktoberfest and we had to take buses and trains just to get to the city center. Hotel is near airport and would be great if flying in and out.

Nice enough hotel, but isolated. You either eat at their restaurant or you don't eat.

In general this hotel is very nice. We were there 14 people to be part of the Oktoberfest. I connection to this the distance is too long. So, for the Oktoberfest or other city-connected activities the location is not optimal. For conference or overstay - waiting for next flight - etc., the hotel is fine.

One night stay at Moevenpick Munich Airport. Staff is not friendly. per person per trip hotel shuttle fee from airport to hotel was not disclosed until check out and it is significant so beware. Beds are not comfortable. Would not stay again.

The Hotel facilities are excellent, with quiet comfortable rooms. I managed two very good night's sleep with no disturbances. Showering bathing facilities are very good including extra little touches of detail for those very young at heart. Breakfasts here are not to be missed as itsets you up for the day!

Airport is a ten min taxi ride (cost us 17.5 euro which was fine). Only stayed for one night and didn't have the breakfast, but the staff were great, the food (late evening bar snack) was fine, the room was recently refurbished and of a very high standard.

This is a very convenient location if you need to catch a morning flight out of the Munich airport. With very reasonable prices and clean up-to-date rooms.

Very close to airport. Beautiful rooms. Superb food. Superb beer/wine selection. By far, best value for dollar for any airport hotel i've ever stayed at.

we chose this hotel because we needed to be able to get to the airport quickly the next morning. The hotel room condition was outstanding (very comfortable, spacious and clean). The breakfast buffet was what wowed us--the food variety and quality were great! will definitely recommend Moevenpick hotels to others.

This hotel is very convenient to the Munich Airport. Our reservation was for the most economical room and was on the ground floor. When we opened the door - we were knocked over by the smell of cigarette smoke. I immediately went back to the office and asked if we could be reassigned to a "non-smoking" room and the desk operator was rather taken aback. […] She said all rooms in the hotel were supposed to be "non-smoking". She immediately gave us an upgraded room on the 2nd floor. This room was wonderful. Later went down to print out our boarding passes and the toner was out on the business printer. I requested help from the desk and they took the time to check me in from their desk computers and printed out my boarding passes. Overall we were totally satisfied with our room and the service. Totally recommend this hotel if you need to stay near the Munich Airport. Leer más

Everything is O'K, but in the room and the corridor is very strong stink, possibly from cigarettes...

Good hotel. Exellent breakfast choice. But we have no air conditioning in the room. Come hot air, not cold!

This is a very clean, comfortable hotel, convenient to the airport. The multi-lingual staff was very helpful. Extra charges for parking and internet. The food is very good, with an awesome 2 for 1 breakfast buffet on Sat./Sun. The hotel is in a bit of an industrial park, but we have found it to be quiet during both of our stays. Small but very comfortable hotel located about 5 km from Munich airport. Rooms are spacious and well appointed, comfortable bed/nice shower, just what the weary traveller needs after a long flight. Staff at reception extremely courteous and helpful and the bar/restaurant is cosy and not too expensive. However, the shuttle bus @ Euros 8 each way is rather […] expensive, and operates only on a call basis during weekends. The hotel should provide a toll-free number for the guest to call on arrival, as the staff at the Information desk at Munich Airport are not very helpful in this regard. Leer más

great hotel, a little removed from the inner city of Munich, but there is a bus that takes you to the metro, which can take you into the city in about 40 minutes

I was pleasantly surprised by my experience at the hotel. The quality of the food, room and surroundings was better than I expected for the price I paid. I was only staying the night before another intra Europe flight so I did not need to go sightseeing, etc. The location is very quiet in an industrial park that is very close to the airport, but not […] in the flight path(apparently). There was a nice little stream and some trees outside my room that helped remove me from the immediate surroundings. The food at the restaurant was quite varied and very reasonable in price considering it was Germany and you really did not have any other choices. The shuttle van can get busy, so be sure to arrive early with a reservation! Leer más

This is a great hotel. However, the bus to the rapid transit station did not run every 20 minutes as the staff said. There was no schedule at the hotel for the bus. One day we took the wrong bus and ended up traveling 45 minutes the wrong way. We traveled to downtown Munich 3 times and it was an ordeal. We came back from Munich one night at 10:30PM […] and there was no bus to take us to the hotel. Luckily, a friendly person took pity on us and gave us a ride back to the hotel. (We were lucky the person was friendly) This hotel is beautiful and we would recommend this hotel to others, if the hotel can help with transportation to Munich. Also, we were there on a weekend, great rate, but when we needed to stay Monday to catch our plane on Tues., the rate tripled. Leer más

I booked this hotel the night before so, I wasn't expecting it to be anything great. Much to my surprise it was! The staff is unbelievably friendly. The room was nice and clean. I had a weeks worth of meetings in Munich and due to Oktoberfest, was forced to stay somewhat farther from City Center than I would have liked. Having said that, I was very pleasantly surprised be everything at the Moevenpick. Staff was very helpful and very, very friendly. My room, although smaller by US standards, was always very clean and comfortable. […] The breakfast was also very enjoyable and had a good variety. The only other thing I would comment on is the location......since it is very close to the airport it's convenient for early / late flights. Otherwise, it's about a 30 - 35 minute drive into City Center which is where the majority of activities are. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone traveling to Munich. DAS Leer más

The hotel was only 10 minutes from the airport which was the best thign about it for me as I was catching an early morning flight. the receptionis was very helpful on arrival although they did take a while to find my booking on the system. I had thought that I had booked a superior room but theey told me it was a standard, however the room was more […] than nice. The hotel was very clean and the staff was excellent. Close to the airport and short drive to downtown Munich, Worth every penny spent!!!!!

The hotel and staff were fine but we were not aware of the high cost fees for being transported from the airport to the hotel and back again. I received an email from customer service at the hotel as I had written a comment on the feedback card. It explained the reasoning and claimed it was on the website.
