I was pleasantly surprised by my experience at the hotel. The quality of the food, room and surroundings was better than I expected for the price I paid. I was only staying the night before another intra Europe flight so I did not need to go sightseeing, etc. The location is very quiet in an industrial park that is very close to the airport, but not in the flight path(apparently). There was a nice little stream and some trees outside my room that helped remove me from the immediate surroundings. The food at the restaurant was quite varied and very reasonable in price considering it was Germany and you really did not have any other choices. The shuttle van can get busy, so be sure to arrive early with a reservation!

This is a great hotel. However, the bus to the rapid transit station did not run every 20 minutes as the staff said. There was no schedule at the hotel for the bus. One day we took the wrong bus and ended up traveling 45 minutes the wrong way. We traveled to downtown Munich 3 times and it was an ordeal. We came back from Munich one night at 10:30PM and there was no bus to take us to the hotel. Luckily, a friendly person took pity on us and gave us a ride back to the hotel. (We were lucky the person was friendly) This hotel is beautiful and we would recommend this hotel to others, if the hotel can help with transportation to Munich. Also, we were there on a weekend, great rate, but when we needed to stay Monday to catch our plane on Tues., the rate tripled.

I booked this hotel the night before so, I wasn't expecting it to be anything great. Much to my surprise it was! The staff is unbelievably friendly. The room was nice and clean. When walking through the halls you may think "what was I thinking?" But besides the few stains on the hall carpets it is a great place to stay. Convenient and a good price. I would recommend it.

I had a weeks worth of meetings in Munich and due to Oktoberfest, was forced to stay somewhat farther from City Center than I would have liked. Having said that, I was very pleasantly surprised be everything at the Moevenpick. Staff was very helpful and very, very friendly. My room, although smaller by US standards, was always very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was also very enjoyable and had a good variety. The only other thing I would comment on is the location......since it is very close to the airport it's convenient for early / late flights. Otherwise, it's about a 30 - 35 minute drive into City Center which is where the majority of activities are. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone traveling to Munich. DAS

The hotel was only 10 minutes from the airport which was the best thign about it for me as I was catching an early morning flight. the receptionis was very helpful on arrival although they did take a while to find my booking on the system. I had thought that I had booked a superior room but theey told me it was a standard, however the room was more than nice. The only downside would have been having to pay for internet in your room.

The hotel was very clean and the staff was excellent. Close to the airport and short drive to downtown Munich, Worth every penny spent!!!!!

The hotel and staff were fine but we were not aware of the high cost fees for being transported from the airport to the hotel and back again. I received an email from customer service at the hotel as I had written a comment on the feedback card. It explained the reasoning and claimed it was on the website. After much digging I did find the fees listed on the Property Information tab buried under Show more amenities. Lesson learned - fully research before booking.

The hotel was ok but no where near the airport. We were not aware that there was going to be an 8 euro per person charge for each trip to the hotel/airport. So the inexpensive price of the hotel went up considerably as it cost 32 euros for two people to get to and from the hotel when it would have been better for us to stay elsewhere and take the S Bahn to the airport.

The hotel is perfectly fine and of a high standard. Be aware, however, that it is not close to the U-Bahn Halbergmoos station and a taxi is recommended.

Clean, functional and helpful staff. Not for leisure . Rooms good , food ok but pricey . Staff helpful Location not ideal but efficent shuttle to airport.Look for something else if you need to saty more than 2 nights

Very good service. Extremely nice employees and very easy access to the airport. The only real complaint I have is that the wifi is horrible. It continually disconnected on me, and it was not worth the 17 euros that I paid (for 24 hours of use).

My lone negative was that the bed was VERY firm. I have back problems and it was less confortable that I prefer. In all other ways, this was an excellent hotel and a very good price. Thanks!

After waiting 30 minutes for the airport shuttle to arrive, they couldn't fit us in it because it was full, so we either had to wait another 30 minutes or catch a cab, we chose the cab, which actually turned out to be about the same price, 16 euro each way, plus tip...I thought that was pretty steep, for a short lift...Also, the hardwood floors in the room were beautiful, but not so much when your neighbors have early flights to catch and are walking around in boots and heels at 4:30am...Other than that, it was nice...They serve up some really good ice cream in the restaurant.

We had a 7 am flight out of Munich, and the hotel was conveniently located. The hotel was quiet, price point was good, and Shuttle Service to the airport was punctual. What stood out more than anything however, was the quality of service from reception, to housekeeping, to restaurant, and to shuttle; all were 5 Star.

This hotel is located in a very small town but conveniently located to the Munich Airport. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I especially liked the shuttle service to the airport.

This was a very nice hotel. Close to the Airport, and in a quaint village. On the downside, you have to pay for parking which for me was 9.50 Euro, and the restaurant prices are high as well. Other than that, the room was nice, the food was great, and I enjoyed myself.

The Hotel was under renovation in the main lobby. One night parking in an industrial (unpopulated area) area was 9,50 euro. Other than that the room and facility was excellent. The staff very helpful.

Only thing good about this place was the price from Hotels.com. They charge for everything else once you arrive (email service, shuttle to/from airport, hotel parking). Rooms clean, but very small, staff was not friendly. Very isolated from anything else, no restaurants near by. I would rate is a 2 star, not a 4 star.

I'm always amazed at the nickel and dime approach some hotels take. Hefty charge for shuttle to the airport 2k away. Pretty good charge for use of internet. No breakfast included in room rate. After 8 days stay in Germany, this was the only hotel that did not provide breakfast. Nice hotel, clean, service good but realize they have a monopoly. There are other options in the area much better values only 2k further away.

This is one of the most comfortable rooms I stayed in during the five country visit to Europe. The room was large and the bed, pillows and comforter were very nice. Excellent proximity to the airport. Hotel staff spoke English very well and made every attempt to meet our needs. My only complaints are the same with most other European hotels... they nickel and dime (OK, Euro) you to death for every extra service like wireless internet and even the shuttle to the airport.

The service at this hotel was excellent, room,restaurant and personell were excellent. I would definetly stay there again and recommend it to others.

Carino il posto,molto grande l'hotel ma poca disponibilità del personale nel fornire informazioni! Il parcheggio è solo a pagamento e peraltro costoso, non c'è possibilità di parcheggiare gratuitamente fuori dall'hotel. Quindi bisogna stare attenti alle condizioni previste nella prenotazione.Se non è compreso il costo del parcheggio, dovete prevedere il pagamento in loco. Il servizio wi-fi è a pagamento, sia in camera che negli ambienti comuni dell'albergo. Il personale è poco attento alle segnalazioni di disfunzioni relative a oggetti e servizi in camera.

Generally speaking Moevenpick Hotel is a clean and cheap Hotel. Some bad points: no free parking for nobody's car, no wireless internet, I have booked a room with a double bed but the receptionist told me that there was not any room available with double room (!), the shower in the bath was empty. Generally a clean, cheap hotel with poor services.

Ist zum weiterempfehlen. Sehr Zentrale Lage. Nur die Parkgebühren sind etwas zu hoch. Das Personal war sehr hilfsbereit mit Stadtplänen und Fahrrouten.

Die Adressangabe Freising, Ludwigstr. stimmt nicht. Per GPS wird man dann zur Prinz- Ludwig- Str. geführt. Man muss Halbergmoos eingeben, dann stimmt die Führung. Die Parkgebühr von 9,50 € pro Tag auf dem flachen Land ist unangemessen. Soviel zahlt man in der Innenstadt von Berlin oder Köln.

non avendo pagato con la prenotazione anche la colazione,che abbiamo consumato, abbiamo avuto l'amara sorpresa di dover pagare un prezzo estremamente caro (21,00€ per persona). non abbiamo mai trovato indicazioni che ci permettessero di evitare questa "fregatura".

Møvenpick er alltid bra, slik vi har opplevd det. Så også denne gang i Hallbergmoos/München airport. Topp service, god mat, trivelige og velutstyrte rom som holdes prikkfrie til enhver tid. Sjekk ikke minst weekend-tilbudene deres!
