"Hotel Millenium Biltmore: mal servicio"
"Millenium Biltmore Hotel Los Angeles"
"Biltmore LA great location"
Perfect location, hotel a little tired but steeped in history, clean friendly service good value would go back
"The Biltmore - impressive interior"
I stayed with my wife for 3 nights in January. What a beautiful hotel. After booking it (at half price I must say as we got in in a 24 hour sale) I looked online for pictures but none pay justice to just how grand this hotel is. It has played host to the Oscar's in the past and you can see why. It has an old fashioned concierge, valets for the car (at […] $40 a night) and bell boys. An impressive start. The room is a decent size and has internet access for an extra $14.99 a night. The decor has seen better days - marble in the bathroom is great but is mixed in with newer, cheaper surrounds and furniture. No street noise and none in hotel so sleep was good - huge queensize bed. Staff very polite and helpful and willing to point out eateries and sights. There is a hotel restaurant that does great meals but they are a little expensive. If you can't afford that there are several other places within 10 minutes walk. However, at the very least have tea in the original lobby, its spectacular and was being used as a film set the day before we left. As to it's location, LA is huge and wherever you go will be far from somewhere. This is central and meant we got everywhere reasonably quickly. We would definitely go again. Leer más
"Grand Old Hotel"
The Millenium Biltmore is a large hotel that was once probably very grand. The rooms are fine, but the bathrooms are small and not updated. They have a very nice bar that was very busy and high energy and gets an "after work crowd". I think if more renovation were done; the hotel could attract more people. It is a good downtown location, but I prefer […] more of a neighborhood feel. Botegga Louie's which is two blocks away is an outstanding resturant and going to the Grand Market is a fun expereince as well. Leer más
"The Millenium Biltmore -a wealth of history"
The hotel was centrally located for business end. I find it a little out of town for restaurants as I was on my own and didn't want to walk around of a night. But the restaurants and bars at the hotel catered well for meals so I ate there the two nights. I found it a comfortable hotel and the memorabilia within the hotel was magnificent to see.
Very friendly and helpful staff, comfortable rooms and a bar conveniently located in the lobby make for a fun time at this hotel.

"Christmas 2011 Hotel Visit"
The hotel's architecture is beautiful and the decorations for the Christmas season were also very beutiful. All staff was very helpful and friendly. I would re-think the price for the breakfast offerings because it is on the pricey side. During my 4 day stay I noticed a single family taking advantage of the breakfast buffet; most others used your sundry/refreshment […] area to purchase coffee, fruit and danish (continental style). I wonder how your chef and cook staff is impacted after cooking a full course buffet only to have a few guest enjoying it. I would suggest you update your fitness equipment in the free-form weight area and weight machine areas -this equipment is out dated. Also, you cannot use headpphones/earphones in the aerobic area (e.g. tredmill, stairmaster, etc.) Newere equipment hear would be beneficial. Leer más
"Class, elegance AND affordability!"
My fiancé used to have a couture lingerie store at the Biltmore for a number of years, so our visit was like "old times" for her and a new visit for me. I was impressed with the overall elegance of this landmark. The bellman who helped us with our bags up to the room had been there 35 years and remembered her store and shared much with us regarding […] what to do and see and look for. Overall a very pleasant experience. Leer más
"Awesome!"
The hotel looks and feels fabulous. Great location, walking distance to just about everything downtown. Like most downtown hotels, parking is very expensive ($40 a night). But there is an underground parking lot across the street at pershing square and an outdoor parking lot on the northeast catty-corner (which I used) for a fraction of the cost ($10 […] a night). Very simple and small room. Nothing too special. Unorganized in getting baggage from the valet parking to the rooms.
"Sorry Biltmore, It's Over Between Us :-("
I, personally,am enamoured with this historic hoteland all of it's charms. The sales reps. from the company I work for, however, do not. I have had to stop boking them here and have resorted to booking them at other Downtown hotels. Every time, in recent memory that I have booked a room for someone at the BIltmore, I end up apologizing the next day. This […] past week,in haste, I booked a room for a visiting sales rep. at the Biltmore for one night. In her first room, the pipe under the sink disconnected and spewed water all over the bathroom, flooding it. The second room reeked of cigarette smoke once she entered it (in all fairness, I do not know if she is particularly sensitive to cigarette smoke). In the third room the temperature controls did not work properly but she did not discover this until she was already in her jammies so she stayed. I am sooooo regretting that I booked my boss a room there in 2 weeks. Let's hope I still have a job after that. One more point, the Biltmore staff did nothing extra to appease my sales rep. this week. Her pipe exploded and they didn't even offer her a breakfast or anything. Bad form, Biltmore, bad form. "Great location & beautiful interiors"
This is a great historical hotel in a great location. Recieved a great deal on Hotels.com, so I couldn't pass it up! The rooms are very basic and not really worth the general price.

rooms and hallways need to be refurbished lobby and history nice but disappointing room and bath
The Biltmore was very nice for our stay. We ended up on the club level (floor 10) where you had complimentary breakfast and some snacks at night. The location and staff were very good. We didn't have any problems. The conceige were very helpful. I would recommend this and stay there again.

"Beautiful hotel, little room"
The problem is they try to nickel and dime you for everything. It was $40/Day to park at the hotel. Internet, anywhere in the hotel, was $10/day. The TV in the room also got very few channels and didn't work that well (my PPV movie was comped d/t problems with the screen). BEAUTIFUL hotel, very elegant etc, but the service and room itself left something […] to be desired. Leer más

"a jewel in downtown LA"
Classy, magnificent, comfortable. Pricey but worth it. Don't be fooled into spending arm and leg to park the car with them, unless you really want valet. There is plentiful parking options for a fraction of the price within 2 blocks.
Park accross the street becuse the overnight parking fee at the hotel is a bit pricy. the hotel is very beautiful and expenisive but worth it.
"Terrific"
Recently stayed here for a work trip. I nearly did not book it because of the negative reviews. However, I had a delightful stay. The rooms did need some updating (mattress for sure), as did the carpeting in the hallway, but the overall stay was absolutely terrific. Loved the charm of the old hotel. Would absolutely stay here again.

"Biltmore Hotel in L.A. beautiful hotel w/ fees"
This hotel is quite beautiful. Seems like if the management could figure a way to charge you for the view they would. We discovered fees and charges everywhere we went in the hotel. On the 4th day of our 6 day visit I had to request a replacement bed as the one originally in our room sagged so much. I'm not sure if that was due to the discount we received […] through Hotels.com or if it was just our luck. The management did replace it, but I was transferred 3 times over the hotel phone to finally find someone who would get it taken care of. Of course we received no appologies or calls from management. The appearance of the hotel at Christmas time was simply stunning. The Biltmore Hotel is one of the most attractive facilities I have ever seen. This hotel could not be duplicated today and is well worth touring even if you stay at another hotel. the bar off the main lobby is very attractive and a great place to impress a business client or young lady. I was not impressed with their restuarant and would advise seeking dining accomadations elsewhere. Rooms service is expensive as in most hotels. We had privledges to their Club Lounge but on our first visit they informed me that we were covered for only two people in a room. My wife went down there in the morning and brought pastries and juice back for everyone but we oredered a large pot of coffee from room service for eleven bucks. Valet parking is convenient and actually those folks offer the best advice and service of anyone inside, however at FORTY BUCKS a day to park your car you should get good service. My wife went to the front desk to ask a simple question. One lady was assisting three guests standing in line and two more front desk employees were standing a few feet way completing paperwork or something. She approached the two men hoping for a quick answer to her quicker question and was ignored at first, then acknowledged but told to go back and stand in line. Had it not been a good deal thhat we received thoru Leer más

"Biltmore is beautiful"
Excellent hotel in the center of the best downtown on the West Coast.
"Would be great if you could sleep in the lobby."
Brilliant renovation and maintenance of the spectacular lobby and public areas. Things take a turn for the worse upstairs in the rooms. Hall carpeting tattered, institutional yellow paint job in the halls and rooms. The room is Spartan with few of the amenities that are now standard in a major hotel. Plastic cups; no mini-bar; one piece of artwork and […] the rest is grim yellow paint. In a highly unacceptable hostage situation, the hotel announced one morning that it was turning off the entire building's electricity at midnight one night for maintenance. Being unexpectedly trapped in a hotel room with no electricity for several hours is no fun. The rates are deservedly moderate, but beware the exorbitant $40/night parking and the $10 nightly internet charge. Excellent location, right near the freeway, quiet, with glorious and historic surroundings downstairs; but the glum rooms make this a no-go. Leer más

"Diamond in the rough"
Downtown LA is a looked over diamond. It is thought of as just the business center and no place for tourists. At the airport when I was asking for transportation downtown at the information counter, the reply was - "do you have a hotel there because if you don't don't go downtown!" I'm so glad that I did both. went downtown and did have a hotel. The […] Biltmore is a must see and must stay at hotel for all of California and worth the trip just to stay there. The first morning when I went to use the business center (open 24 hrs) they were shooting a movie in the lobby. Even the set people were polite as they escorted me through the set. At this time you know you are in LA. Exploring the sites around the hotel just uncovered one surprise after another. The mexican market, the amazing deco architecture around and ice scateing in Pershing square - who knew??!! Anyone interested in architecture or history will love being imersed in this spectacular hotel. There are too many details to even take in. The difference between the biltmore and a grand hotel in Las Vegas is that the Biltmore is authentic. All of the service and interaction with the staff was superior and genuine. This wasn't just a stay it was an experience. Leer más
