Es lo que un buen viajero busca de un hotel en NYC, agua caliente, caliente y limpio el cuarto, un metro cerca, wifi y hasta ahí. Recomendación no vayan a comer a los restaurantes de atras del hotel es muy fea la comida.

Esta a 15 minutos de Manhattan en bus, sale de la puerta del hotel y te regresa al mismo lugar salen casa 10 minutos te deja en 8 y 42 en Manhattan , el desayuno muy bueno , la atención excelente y el personal muy predispuesto a darte información turística , esta en una zona de negocios , supermercados y varios restaurantes, la zona segura para caminar sin problemas

Un hotel de la categoría del Holiday Inn debería tener al menos en la recepción, personal que hablara español. Aquí en México en casi todos los hoteles de más de 4 estrellas, los recepcionistas son bilingues. Gracias.
La cálida bienvenida del check-in incluye galletas recién hechas con pepitas de chocolate gratis. Y las suites amplias y cómodas, con dos habitaciones, resultan realmente acogedoras tras un largo día de turismo y compras. Aunque se encuentren en pleno centro de la acción, son sorprendentemente silenciosas. Cada suite cuenta con dos televisiones LCD, una en la habitación y otra en el salón separado, para evitar peleas por el mando a distancia. Podrá preparar unas palomitas en el microondas, tomar una bebida fría de la nevera y acomodarse para ver su programa favorito de la HBO. O si lo prefiere, navegue por Internet gracias a la conexión Wi-Fi disponible con un coste adicional en la suite y de forma gratuita en el vestíbulo.

"Excelente locación para un hotel familiar..."
Este hotel resultó mejor de lo esperado: En medio de Times Square, cerca de teatros, restaurantes en Hell's Kitchen (9na Avenida, a 2 cuadras), almacenes de todo tipo, atracciones turísticas e incluso con la facilidad de tener cerca puntos para tomar los buses de tour por la ciudad. Lo mejor es que las habitaciones son silenciosas (¡a pesar del escándalo […] de la calle!), con camas comodísimas y con facilidades para poder prepararse uno mismo sus alimentos (hay cafetera, microondas y una pequeña nevera), por si quieren evitar el precio del restaurante... Los productos que el hotel da a los huéspedes es de excelente calidad: desde la galleta caliente con que te reciben, hasta la linea de Crabtree & Evelyn de artículos de baño, pasando por el café y té en la cocinita, pasando por el trato del personal... En resumen, si quieren un lugar céntrico, limpio y cómodo, con precio promedio de Manhattan, ¡lo recomiendo! Leer más

Las habitaciones no son muy grandes (al menos la que nos tocaron a nosotros) pero son confortables. Excelente la ubicacion, cerca de teatros y vida nocturna. Estas en el centro de la isla, con conexion rapida hacia el norte y hacia el sur. El precio es razonable.

es el hotel ideal, hemos ido toda la familia (con tres niños), las habitaciones son muy confortables, limpias, y al tener separada una zona de estar hace que el espacio no sea reducido, las camas son las mejores en las que he dormido, la ubicacion perfecta, en pleno times square y con el metro pegado al hotel, ademas tiene microhondas, una pequeña nevera, […] cafetera para café e infusiones, calidad precio es estupenda. "Convenience and Comfort in Times Square"
The Doubletree in Times Square proved to be an excellent alternative to the Marriott Marquis, within which my business conference was being held. Almost directly across the street from the Marquis, the Doubletree offered a scaled down, comfortable alternative to staying at the Mega-Hotel in which most of the conference-goers were residing. At check […] in, we recieved the standard complimatary Doubletree warm cookies (yum), and the excellent news that we were to be upgraded to a King corner room, directly overlooking the lights of Times Square. The view was absolutely breathtaking. Our room felt like it was right in the middle of the action. The lights from Times Square were so bright that we needed to close the triple shades on the windows to close all of the light out throughout the night. We ordered room service, which was pretty mediocre in quality, taste and portion size for the cost - but that is to be expected in NYC. The space in the room was excellent for a mid-town hotel. The Doubletree is right in the center of the TSQ attractions, we walked everywhere! service was excellent, the doormen are always helpful with taxis & limos. Our concierge was very helpful with show tickets. The hotel was clean and we had no issues in our room, which was quite large. We had one meal in the restaurant, which was not stellar. "WOW!!!"
Our family (two adults and two teenagers) spent four nights at this hotel the week before Christmas and it was fantastic! It was amazing to be in the heart of Times Square during this time of year. It was close to all of the things we wanted to do (rockafeller center, central park, all of the store windows, etc..). We walked everywhere and the places […] we couldn't walk to the subway was only two blocks away. We had a wonderful time. The staff at the hotel was awesome and very helpful about finding restaurants, tickets to shows, directions and subway routes. The suite was very comfortable and we had room to spread out a bit. Our view from the 32nd floor was very cool, looking straight out to the wonderful billboards of Times Square. I would definately reccommand this hotel. Leer más
"Doubletree Suites NYC - fine for families"
We chose this particular hotel because of previous reviews and honestly we were happy with the result. A family of 5 (2 adults and 3 kids aged from 14 down) - this hotel was central to everything in NYC. Although we thought it would be a little more family orientated - wasn't really - we found that we were within walking distance from everything from […] the Empire State Building and down to Central Park. The staff we had reason to talk with were very helpful (in particular Michael on the front desk) who paid particular attention to our daughter who had allergies.. What didn't we like? Well we weren't particularly fussed with their restaurant - but it didnt matter - all you had to do was walk out the door and you're in Times Square - you just go somewhere else! The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Nice rooms with a very comfortable atmosphere. Staff requires a room key to enter into the building in the evening which is an added safety measure. Will stay again!

The location and standard of the hotel was excellent.We had two rooms for a family group of five. Everyone felt very safe and the presence of staff checking access to the hotel at night made us feel even more secure. The only negative at the hotel was the charge for use of the wi-fi which could be accessed for free from a number of nearby locations. "Good stay with bumps in the road"
Pros:Excellent location and great 43rd floor room with fantastic view of Times Square. Easy to get to shows. Helpful staff and great consierge services. Cons: Housekeeping was a joke; lucky to finally get room stocked with essentials: towels, bathrobes,coffee. Trash sorting was a pain with some guilt not sorting. Receptacles were small. If they are […] trying to get "green" - leave towels that are hung up to dry for use the second day. Instead, towels were replaced anyway. No need to change linens everyday either. Carpet vacuuming done once during our 7-day stay. Heating was working in the bedroom, but no heat going to the living area. Television was confusing and difficult to operate. Many cable problems while viewing. WiFi was extremely slow and locked up on several occasions. Hotel was of no help and got transfered to AT&T technical support who couldn't address the internet problem. 1st floor security was rigid in requiring identification for access to lobby and room floors. I felt like it was TSA and would require a body search. Chocolate cookies? What reward do diabetics have? Re Warning:hotel resturant "Gingers" was way over priced for food and service. Not much of a healthy selection and little options. Breakfast menu was limited and the buffet was "unappetizing." Some resturant staff were indifferent and appeared to hate their jobs. Leer más

WOW, what an amazing location. Times Square felt like the center of activity and the hotel was directly located in the center. You are in close walking distance to Rockefellar Center, Empire State Building, Toys R Us and John's Pizza. Our hotel room had plenty of room for our family(two boys). They slept on a queen size pull out sofa and we had a separate […] bedroom with king size bed.This hotel was recommended by a friend and I will never stay anywhere else when we come back to visit NYC. Love this hotel! My husband and I love staying here right at Time Square when we come into the city. We love getting a room with a view of Times Sqaure. The rooms are very nice and always very clean. We love all the room you get in the rooms. The warm cookies are a plus too!

We stayed four nights in a suite and could not be happier. The separate living room area was perfect for the kids and 2 televisions was a convenience. Location is amazing at the heart of time square. "Hilton Time Square - Can't Beat Location"
Lots of space by NYC standards. Sofa bed was unusable - very thin mattress with springs sticking out. Room could've been cleaner - found random hairs and didn't clean under beds very well. View was ok on 34th floor. Staff was great. Supposed to have free wifi in lobby but repeated tries were unsuccessful. My wife and I stayed in the Double tree suites on times square in Aug/Sept 2011 while on a honeymoon around the world. The hotel was very well placed close to all the action on times square. All the rooms are suites and they had a nice clean and modern feel to them.The staff were all friendly and helpful. We had to stay in our hotel for about 36 hours […] while NY city shutdown during Hurricane Irene but it was fine, we had everything we needed in the hotel with free internet in the lobby, 2 big screen TVs in our suite and a kitchenette where we could prepare food. "Too Much Noise"
I would have enjoyed my stay much better if not facing Times Square and a lower floor. Times Square is very noisy and the black out curtains really don't block out all of the lighting. I would stay here again, but not in a room facing Times Square. Hard to sleep with so much yelling, taxi honking, etc. Lesson learned.

Excellent location, right in the heart of Times Square - rooms were clean. Curtains kept out the bright lights and you couldn't hear the noise. We didn't get a room with a view but we didn't stay for that anyway. Need to pay for parking and getting in and out with CAR with luggage was hectic but the bell hop service was very good. We wanted a home base to walk around and see the sites in Time Square and this location was perfect for that. I would probably not take my car next time. Great hotel. Downsides were that you had to get to 3rd floor for lobby and then take a second elevator to your room. I would have liked free wi-fi and free breakfast like we get at chains which are much less pricey, but can't really complain. Loved the hotel and location
Very comfortable bed, friendly staff, great place to go with kids. I was surprised how quiet our room was, and the blackout drapes work great. We enjoyed our stay, and the kids loved the cookies from the lobby!
