This hotel is perfectly placed just of the Place de Comedie and is an ideal base for exploring the abundant local sights and shopping. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful. This was our third stay in this establishment and we found once again that the 3 star facilities were more than adequate for our short break. The single beds in the twin rooms are […] a bit small though for the larger person but the ensuite bathroom was good and well stocked with soaps, shower gel and towels. There are plenty of good restaurants and bars locally, the best of which can be found in the many side streets away from the Place and the nightlife is terrific (and available almost until dawn if you venture further afield). The hotels has the most perfect location to explore the old town of Montpellier - a few meters from from the central square, adjacent to the main tram line! Our room was on the small side but very functional. Its a "Grand" old building and probably had a make over in that last 5-7 years - they did OK - but should have gone the extra mile! We stayed […] 3 nights and - one of the days our room was not cleaned - we had to ask twice for new towels! The first time a female receptionist said she would organise - needless to say never got them - until we asked a night receptionist who apologised and delivered the clean towels immediately! Just had three nights at this excellent hotel. It was our third stay at the hotel and as always the welcome afforded yes was excellent as were the facilities. Its location,, a couple of steps from L'Comedie, is ideal for a short break in Montpellier with a Tram station 50 yards away. Would highly recommend the hotel.

Lovely place to stay , close to all interesting spots, although small the room was well made up, very comfortable bed. staff very nice, one drawback was the fact that the TV had on one English channel CNBC!!! its not too important to have TV but at least have a choice. overall a great stay and beautiful city and people.

The carpet in our room was disgustingly dirty. We were hesitant to walk on it barefoot. Questionable as the whether the bed linens were fully laundered. The cleanliness of the bathroom left much to be desired as well. We asked for a wake-up call at 7 a.m. It finally came at 7:35. The woman at the front desk for the morning/afternoon shift was extremely […] pleasant, helpful and courteous. The woman on the evening shift was the complete opposite. The overall decor of the hotel was an interesting mix of new with old. A continental breakfast is available, but not necessarily worth the extra cost. Well furnished room. Very good bed and linens. Bathroom was well appointed. Locagtion near main plaza in Montpekkier and the hotel is difficult to access by car because of roadworks.

Stayed only one night but hotel is excellent, very convenient with good service.

This Hotel was a 10 minute walk from the train station and in a great location. Near many restaurants and shopping. The ambiance of the hotel in a centuries old building was fabulous. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

For the price you couldn't find a better hotel. It is almost right on the main sqaure. Staff very freindly and most helpful. If you are arriving by car you must be prepared. Parking is via a tunnel. The srteet Victor Hugo is one of many that is either completely or partially pedestrianised. When driving you must enter a tunnel under the main square […] take a sharp right turn into the municipal garage which is huge. For the person who has stayed at the Hilton's, the Sheraton's, and the Marriott's, please lower your expectations dramatically before you decide to stay here. The building itself was built in 1780 but obviously has been renovated since. The rooms are very small, there is no ironing board (for safety reasons apparently), the staff are not the most courteous, […] the breakfast is way overpriced. Very nice hotel in an excellent location. In walking distance of the train station and situated on a very nice and interesting plaza with shopping and dinning

The hotel is spacious, centrally located, staff helpful. Breakfast - good coffee and fresh pastries. Eating out okay 13.50 euros for a main course. Good shopping. The only problem was the narrow bed. Only a stone's throw from the station and easy to find. Funky decor and lovely sheets and furnishings. Only got CNN as the English channel on the telly though! Wifi costs €13.50 for 24 hours or €8 an hour if you want it but you can use their printer. We went with our two teenage boys and it was a success.

I overnighted in Montpellier en route from Barcelona to Nice. This hotel was the best of my European trip. It is walking distance to the train station, walking distance to the main square of the town, and the rooms were comfortable with nice bathrooms. The hotel has a modern flair to it. We went to Montpellier to visit my duaghter, who is doing a Junior year abroad. Decided on New Hotel du Midi based on location, price and reviews. It exceeded our expectations. Location can't be beat - close enough to Place de la Comedie to be convenient, far enough away to avoid the hustle and bustle. Room was spotless, bed was very comfortable, appointments […] were of high quality and the shower was great. Malgré un accueil très moderne et assez propre, une chambre exigue, sombre, triste, une salle de bain sans intérêt, carrelage mal posé, papier mal recollé sur les bas de murs. Confort de la chambre sommaire moquette salle baignoire émaillée plan du lavabo taché ... Personnel tout juste agréable alors que l'hôtel bénéficie d'une excellente situation géographique.

Hôtel situé près de la Place de la Comédie , idéal pour visiter le centre historique de Montpellier

C'était la deuxième fois que je résidais dans cet hotel. L'hotel est particulièrement bien situé en plein centre de Montpellier. La décoration récente est très belle, j'aime particulièrement ce style moderne contemporain qui reste respectueux du style architectural de l'hotel particulier qui date certainement du 18-19ème siècle. Malheureusement, la […] chambre que j'ai eue cette fois ci était dans une aile de l'hotel ou la décoration était moins récente, la climatisation fonctionnait assez mal et la paroi de la douche fermait mal. Je suis donc un peu moins satisfait que lors de mon premier séjour mais je retournerai sans problème dans cet hotel pour un prochain séjour à Montpellier ! Leer más

Hotellet ligger sentralt i Montpellier, rett ved hjertet av byen med Place de la Comédie og i nærheten av både gamlebyen og den moderne bydelen Antigone. Rommet og badet var fint, lite men passelig. Aircondition og en liten balkong. Artig med Espresso-maskin på rommet, men unødvendig å ta så godt betalt for en kapsel. Spiste frokost ute, så vet ikke […] hvordan hotellets var. Meget hyggeligt hotel med delvis nyt design/kunst. Venligt personale og pænt og rent. Meget centralt beliggende og til forholdsvis fornuftig pris.

Nous avons fait un CR directement sur le site de l'hôtel car notre arrivée a été cauchemardesque....et pour le prix nous trouvons que c'est cher,heureusement que nous avons pû bénéficier d'une promo.

モンペリエの中心にあるコメディ広場に面していて、とても便利なロケーションです。ただ夜遅くまで騒がしいので、それが嫌な人にはよくないかもしれません。ジュニアスイートに泊まったので、かなり快適でした。ネットへのアクセスは部屋からはできず、ラウンジでしなければならなかったので、その点はちょっと不便でした。

Hotel très calme et vraiment central, belle chambre confortable . Bémol sur la salle de petit déjeuner et service au petit déjeuner , décevants par rapport au reste , recommandons plutôt d'aller prendre son petit déjeuner sur une place à côté de l'hotel .

TB placé, bon accueil.la décoration des chambres standard est très minimaliste (murs et peintures tout beige, moquette brune). Le ménage quotidien est un peu léger notamment dans la salle de bains (murs : carrelage mats par le calcaire, sol non aspiré). Manque une terrasse ou au moins une fenêtre dans la pièce du le petit déjeuner (éclairage artificiel […] ). Tres bien situe c'est ici que je descend regulierementles chambres sont presque toutes spacieuses et bien entretenues. Il meriterait une 4e etoile.

Dans l'ens très bien:la chambre 101 qui a un balcon avec une vue superbe, devrait être rafraîchie:elle est un peu triste, surtout la salle de bains!

toujours un emplacement idéal avec parking à deux pas ( et réduction ). L'hotel est toujours très calme mais cette fois chambre 116 non conforme à la réservation ( sic : Vue sur l’opéra ou la terrasse du restaurant ) puisque dans l'annexe mais donnant de l'autre coté sur la rue de la Maréechaussée. En plus chambre non refaite avec porte de douche cassée. Dieses hotel ist Genial und wir kommen seit Jahren immer wieder zurück. Frühstück nehmen wir aber immer auf dem Place de la comedie in einen von den Cafe's. Der Lage ist unschlagbar und der Personal höflich (besonderes wenn man Fransösiz spricht). Es ist in mitten vom Zentrum und darum nicht besonderes ruhig. Eine gewisse Lärm ist immer vorhanden. cher pour la prestation offerte mais situation idéale. Personnel pas toujours serviable. Petit dèj à 10 euros trés satisfaisant. Tarif parking à proximité trés correct (21 euros pour 3 jours)

hotel très calme et idéalement situé à deux pas de la place de la comédie. service et accueil de très bonne qualité. la chambre est impeccable et bien équipée. Tout pour réussir un bon séjour dans une ville très animée et chaleureuse.

Rommet vårt var relativt nyoppusset, men dessverre hadde de her, i motsetning til resten av hotellets friske stil, valgt fargen diaré til vegger og tak. Frokosten var grei med hyggelig betjening. A beautiful hotel in the very heart of Montpellier. What made this hotel unique is their decoration, a tasteful combination of old and new. Lots of interesting details. Highly recommended also as a hotel, eevrything worked out smoothly and the rooms was excellent.
