Dont book this hotel, electricity problem,breakfast in a tent with water on the floor and very cold, extremely unfriendly and unpolite staff, bad cleaning and no clean blankets, building workers working around. AN ADVICE:DONT BOOK THIS HOTEL, many good hotels around

We stayed in December so it was out of season but we received excellent hospitality from professional and friendly staff who still delivered a high standard where perhaps others might not have bothered. We stayed at the Hotel West End in Nice, France for three days. The hotel is located on the gorgoeus Promenade des Anglais. It is close to all the main Nice attractions, including the old village. The outside of the hotel is gorgeous, as is the lobby and the various lounges on the ground floor. If you are lucky enough to have a sea view room then you […] will have a gorgeous view of the stunningly blue Meditteranean sea. As for the rooms. Our room was tiny and there were some patches on the wallpaper which was very old. The room could do with refurbishing. Our bathroom was tiny and the toilet was stuck behind a wall partition so there was hardly any room to move. Given that we were only there for three days it didn't bother me but any longer and it would have gone on my nerves. Room service is not available all day, which could be a bit inconvenient but as there are loads of eateries in the area then it's not a huge problem. We didnt use room service at all so it didn't bother us. We did enjoy some cocktails in the restaurant and although a bit on the pricey side they were delicious. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. If I could award them more than five stars I definitely would. The only issue we had was with the size of the room. And if you're in beautiful Nice you're not going to want to spend your time indoors when there's so much to see outdoors!! I would totally recommend this hotel. Leer más

Hotel is in a good location and the rooms are OK (except rooms near the elevators which are not adequately sound-proofed). Breakfast is OK but not great for a 4-star hotel. The marquee it is served in leaked, so the floor was very slippery and breakfast items were not replenished - once something ran out, that was it for the day. Room service is only […] available during "meal times" (12-2 and 7-10pm), which is unexpected in a hotel of this class and not particularly helpful if you want to eat outside those times. Spent 3 days in a suite at the West End in Nice and wished we could havse stayed longer . Lovely to open the blinds and look out at the lovely blue Med. Sea. The restaurant was excellent and the hotel staff was more than courteous. What was most pleasant was that this hotel did not have the outrageous,pompous attitude of its neighbour to the west!

This is a really well located gorgeous hotel. It is old but the rooms are well renovated.beds comfy service French need I say more. Love it will be back

This hotel was a very comfortable stop on our European tour. The room was very elegant and we were provided with the sea view we had requested. The staff were very efficient and friendly. We were also given an hour extra 'late check-out' at no charge to give us a chance to have swim before flying out. We had a wonderful stay and were treated with care and met each day and evening by friendly staff. The location is very convenient to the old town and market. We had a wonderful experience.

The room was so small. The shower had no door or curtain. The elevator was broke and power went out for a portion of the stay and the hotel made no effort to accomadate for the inconvienences. On our final bill we also were charge for some room service we did not order.

This is a great hotel for Nice. It was recently renovated: our room still smelled new and was in perfect condition. The rooms are small, but elegant. There is very limited parking at the hotel, but there is a large and secure 24 parking lot one building away. The cost is the same as the hotel parking lot.

Room on 5th floor, very small, damp stain on wall, bathroom in need of a revamp worn beige suite from the 80's, cracked sink, broken marble with ground in dirt around sink, no shower cutain resulting in water everywhere in bathroom, mirrors had damp stains on them. One of the lifts was not working. Air conditioning was also not working and breakfast was not included in the price. Not impressed

Even though the Hotel was a little on the expensive side, it was well worth it. It is in need of a lick of paint in places. We thought the hotel came with a beach, but we were shocked to find that as guests we had to pay seventeen euros, public pay twenty four euros, however the next hotel beach cost just ten euro, figure that one out

Das Hotel West End liegt direkt am Meer und in Citylage. Eine Ideale Lage für Spaziergänge, Ausflüge und Shoppingtouren. Von diesem Punkt aus, ist man an allen schönen Plätzen der Stadt nicht weit. Die Mitarbeiter des Hotels sind sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Das Hotel macht einen gepflegten Eindruck und ist gemüdlich eingerichtet.

Wir verbrachten einen traumhaften Aufenthalt über Sylvester/Neujahr in diesem prächtigen Ambiente. Das Haus ist wunderschön und die perfekte Lage für allerlei Unternehmungen ideal! nu er det 2. gang, jeg har boet på Hotel West End. Jeg har derfor oplevet sommer (højsæson) og jul (lavsæson). Der er absolut IKKE EN FINGER, at sætte på noget som helst. Jeg glæder mig allerede til, at komme tilbage!!

Schöner Bau aus dem 19. Jahrhundert, sehr edel. Unser Zimmer war nicht mit Blick aufs Meer, sondern in Richtung Norden auf die Stadt, das war trotzdem ein netter Ausblick. Die Zimmer sind mit TV und gratis WLAN ausgestattet und ordentlich. Das Bad scheint recht neu zu sein, eine Belüftung fehlt jedoch. Auch die Putzfrau hätte, wenn sie im Bad genauer […] geschaut hätte, ein paar Haare und Dreck mehr wegputzen können. Die Lage des Hotels gleich neben dem berühmten Hotel "Negresco" ist hervorragend und direkt am Strand. Zum Hauptbahnhof "Nice Ville" geht man zu Fuß etwa 10 Minuten. Bra och vänlig personal hjälpte till när man bad om något. Lite slitna rum men charmiga.Ett hotell jag kan tänka mig återvända till.

Beliggenhenten til hotellet er fantastisk, rett på strandpromenaden. Vi var heldige å fikk en fint rom med balkong og utsikt over strandpromenaden, men hotellet er slitt, det er på hele hotellet. Sofaen og stolene på rommet var meget slitte, pyntelister på døren var limt fast. Men rengjøringen var fint og damen gjorde sitt beste. Det kan man ikke si […] om betjeningen i restauranten. Man fikk ikke valuta for hva man betalte, man får en lunsj/middag for samme pris på Hotel Negresco, naboen, det var mye bedre. Jeg var på samme hotel for noen år siden og merket derfor stor forskjell siden sist. Leer más

Hyggelig hotell med topp beliggenhet på Promenade des Anglais. Hotellet er behjelpelig med reservasjon av solsenger og bord på strandrestaurant på andre siden av veien. Greie rom, ikke alt er nyoppusset - men rent og delikat. Hyggelig frokostrestaurant.

Sentralt og veldig hyggelig betjening!

Jättefint rum, med havsutsikt och balkong. Vänlig och serviceminded personal. Hjälpte snabbt och gärna till att ordna med hyrbil och annat. Trevligt och charmigt hotell med fantastiskt läge mitt på Promenade Anglais.

Personal sehr freundlich. Hotel in die Jahre gekommen,knirschende Böden,alte Badezimmer,sehr laut durch die angrenzende Hauptstrasse. Aber hat einen gewissen Charme !!!

Das West End ist ein Spitzenhotel mit Top-Personal; immer freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Zimmer sind manchmal klein, dann aber mit Aussicht, oder groß und neu renoviert. Nur die Matratzen waren megahart - wem das Probleme macht, sollte das Hotel meiden; es gibt nämlich keine anderen, auch nicht als Ersatz. Wir haben deswegen sogar das Zimmer gewechselt […] (Reception war unglaublich bemüht; hat uns sogar gratis upgegraded); hat aber nix geholfen. Abgesehen davon gibt´s am West End nichts auszusetzen: Top Lage, Top Personal und gediegene Räumlichkeiten. Leer más

Hotel très bien placé.Le seul probleme a été le volet roulant qui ne marchait pas et la climatisation étant elle aussi fermée, nous avons eu un peu chaud la nuit. Sinon le personnel est très gentil.Les petits déjeuners sont aussi tres biens

Hotellet trenger en skikkelig ansiktsløftning - skitne vegg-til-vegg tepper over alt gjør at man føler hele hotellet er skittent og lite innbydende, selv om det ser fint ut ved første øyekast. Ikke hyggelig betjening - og frokostteltet var elendig. Standarden på frokosten var bra, men man spiller ikke høy discomusikk til frokost, slik at gjestene hver […] dag må be betjeningen dempe musikken. Hotellets restaurant serverte dårlig mat, selv om også denne ved første øyekast så bra ut. Her var det hyggelig betjening, men maten var rett og slett en katastrofe - og helt smakløs. Hvis hele hotellet blir vasket ned innvendig og betjeningen sendt på service-kurs - så kommer vi tilbake - ellers anbefales det ikke. Holder ikke mål som 4-stjerners hotell. Super hotel, alt fungerede. Dejligt badeværelse med gode bruse faciliteter. Internet forbindelse på værelset, der fungerede. Dejligt værelse med "dyner". Om aftenen også lidt oprydning af badeværelse og slik på sengen. Vi boede med udsigt til en lille have, meget roligt.

部屋の広さ、クリーニングなど不満。 ある程度は想定していましたが、金額とは不釣合い。 次ニースに来た時は、もうここは選びません。
