Nos ha encantado estar en esta zona de Chicago ,es un barrio fenomenal,esta cerca del metro que lleva al centro ,pero caminando se va bien,ya que es un paseo super agradable por calles muy bonitas o por Lincoln Park . Chicago es precioso y la gente muy amable!!! El personal del hotel super amables tambien

Estuvimos en el hotel por una semana. La habitación esta muy bien, amplia y limpia. El servicio de desayunos se sirve en cada planta, no hay un comedor para este fin. El desayuno no es muy amplio pero cumple necesidades y es de buena calidad (los donuts son buenísimos). La ubicación es muy buena, tiene el transporte publico (metro y bus) muy cerca y puedes ir a la Golden mile a pie si se quiere. Lo peor es el nulo trato de recepción. No no ayudaron en nada y tampoco nos aconsejaron cuando les pedimos recomendaciones. No obstante, con internet suplimos este punto débil. Descansad en Amalfi y disfrutad de Chicago. Yo volvería de nuevo al mismo hotel.

Las habitaciones son una pasada, especialmente si te toca en un piso alto. Son grandes, está limpias y completamente equipadas con todo lo que se necesita en un apartamento (hasta 2 televisiones de plasma). Las camas también son muy cómodas. Además el hotel está en el mejor sitio que puede haber en todo Chicago Donwtown. Todo pilla cerca, ya sea andando, o en bus (en invierno que te mueres de fríao). Por poner algún "pero", decir que las instalaciones comunes son bastante flojitas.... el desayuno, la recepción, etc, pero las habitaciones lo compensan con creces...

Si puedes, ni lo dudes. Vete a este hotel. Limpio, amplio. Zona común con sillones, billar, mesa de pingpon. Cocina y salón para cada cuatro habitaciones. Además, cocina gigante común para todo el hotel, salas de televisión, consigna gratuíta (lleva un candado), wifi... Situación inmejorable, pleno centro.

Se trata de un hotel enorme, situado fenomenalmente frente al lago Mighigan, junto al Millenium Park y justo en Mighigan Avenue (la calle principal de Chicago). Intentad pedid habitación con vistas al lago, son impresionantes. Me gustaría destacar que las habitaciones, pese a ser antiguas cuentan con unas camas enormes y extremadamente cómodas. Buen hotel, relacion calidad-precio.

Omni Hotel on Michigan Ave in Chcago GREAT PLACE to stay. The staff were friendly and helpful. My room was clean and comfortable. Location was awesome, right on Michigan Ave within walking distance to shopping, restaurants, and sightseeing tours. We had a great time. Would definitely stay there again.
"Chicago huge city lots walking- hot tub is broken"
We was disappointed that the hot tub in the fitness area was not working. We figured that a hotel as expensive as this one to stay at would have everything working properly. Chicago is a huge town with a lot ot see, which involed a lot of walking. The hot tub would have been nice to relax those pains away in.

Excellent location. Convenient to public transportation or taxi. Minutes of bus ride to get to the loop.Close to Water Tower & John Hancock Center. If you don't want to pay for $10.00 a bottle hotel water, you can get your own water /snacks about 2 blocks from the hotel at Walgreens. The hotel front desk personnel are very helpful and friendly except […] one guy his name starts with Car----. he has a little attitude. The front desk guy with Dark hair good looking is super nice , knowledgeable about the hotel policy & helpful. Make sure when you check in your room you see there's a big bottle of water sitting on the counter. Otherwise, when you check out you will see it on your bill. In my case, I think the guest before me used the water and the maid forgot to replenish it and they charged me for it. They also charged me for a long distance call for $3.00. I told them I have a cell phone and didn't have to use the hotel phone. I was lucky enough the nice front desk lady named (Saf----) have the charge removed without question. Overall it's a very nice and spacious hotel except they may have to soon replace the carpet. I will definitely stay again at Omni. I had a great experience at the Philadelphia Omni last year and that's why I chose Omni Chicago to stay this year. Leer más

"Omni Chicago requires a repairman-on-call"
We booked the Omni Chicago for four nights in July. The hotel staff was very helpful and accommodating. We had a few issues with our room. The iron didn't work and I called for a new one. It didn't show-up. A maid came by to offer turn-down service so she kindly found an iron that worked. We were getting ready for a dinner and had reservations so we […] were in a bit of a hurry. I don't know when we would have received it if the maid hadn't appeared at our door. The coffee maker didn't work so we had to call about a replacement. Coffee was brought to the room for our inconvenience. The strange thing is the room temp minibar that has soft drinks, beer, etc. It actually smelled. I have never heard of a room temp minibar? Several calls about that as we thought it was malfunctioning. Different answers from each person we contacted. It had a cord and compressor but was warm. Is this a Chicago thing? Leer más

We loved our Omni suite - furnishings were beautiful and beds were as comfortable as any 4 or 5 star hotel. Enjoyed the Wolfgang Puck coffee provided daily. Work-out room (free unlike most other Chicago hotels) offered up-to-date equipment and had a great array of free weights. Pool is just through the locker room. I know that hotels on the Magnificient Mile are pricey, but I was a little disappointed that Omni Chicago wasn't a little more luxurious for its price and surroundings. The room was nice enough, but the bathroom was a total letdown. The hotel staff was curteous and helpful. The bed was comfortable and there was plenty of room. Our hotel was very nice, and over all the hotel was excellent. but the daily parking was very expensive, and because of this is if driving will not come back.

"Mostly good, some problems."
Good hotel in good location. Lost and found did not work well and some problems getting car but on balance a nice place with a nice breakfast buffet.

We spent a long weekend in Chicago, which we have done many times. This was our first time staying at the Omni. The hotel was great. The location couldn't be better. The customer service of all staff was excellent! Our room was exactly what we wanted. The only thing that I noticed was that the rooms were clean, but the details needed a little more attention. Hotel was just right for our trip but was not the experience I expected from a 4 star hotel. Bags took a long time to be brought up - over 30 minutes from check in despite 3 phone calls. Porter said he had just been asked. They also would not accept the 20% off discount they had offered for a 2-night stay, which was posted on their own website. I have stayed at this hotel many times and they used to have a couch and a chair, now just two chairs, I would like to see the couches back, other than that I have absolutely no complaints!!

"One of the better downtown hotels"
I'm not used to being nickel and dimed but it seems to be the standard in downtown Chicago. Once I got over having to pay 20% of my room's rate for valet and wifi, the Omni seemed to be a really nice hotel. The elevators were annoying because we had to transfer to another bank after the 3rd floor. "Highly recommend for families-best hotel stay ever"
The Omni hotel is the greatest. It was the best hotel stay we've ever experienced. We stayed overnight to celebrate our son's 11th birthday. The room was beautiful and the staff was wonderful. Upon arrival, they gave the kids 'gift bags'. Our son also received birthday treats and in the evening, the kids were brought milk and cookies. "Anniversary Stay"
The hotel exceeded our expectations. Even the food was terrific. We had reservations at a 5-Star resturant only to cancel it in favor of dining in the 676 Room. The location is minutes from a lot of attractions that any tourist would want to see. The hotel also has limo service within a 3-mile radius for your convenience. A-plus!

We stayed 5 nights in this very centrally located hotel in Chicago just off the Magnificent Mile. Very convenient for restaurants, the hop-on, hop-off bus tour route that we took and of course, shopping. Very enjoyable stay.

d several problems, and staff did not seem tainined to take care of customers. Even room service. I ordered a pop and got just a bottle on a tray fro $8.50. What about a glass? a napkin? They looked at me like they'd never heard of those things. Room key didn't work from the beginning, and never worked well, even with two calls. "Perfect except for one thing...."
The hotel was in the perfect location. Walking distance to everything. The only issue we had was the elevator situation is really annoying. When you walk into the hotel you have to take an elevator to the 3rd floor to check in then another set of elevators to get to your room. You have to do the same when you want to go outside. Take 2 sets of elevators. […] There are only 2 elevators that take you to the 3rd floor and one was not working so it would take forever for the one to come and even if it did you may not get on because of all the people waiting to either check in with all their luggage or just to get to the next set of elevators to go up to your room. "Disappointed"
I was very disappointed with the Omni Hotel. We were a party of 3 adults and 1 toddler, so specifically booked a one bedroom suite with a sofa bed. The room was unbelievably tiny! You had to walk sideways around the bed, and in order to use the pull-out sofa, the coffee table had to be jammed under a desk, leaving absolutely no room to walk at all. […] Knowing we would not be comfortable, especially with a toddler, I asked for and received an upgrade (at a pretty hefty price). When we were shown the upgraded room, I specifically stated again that we needed a bedroom and a pull-out sofa. Finally, at bedtime, we went to take the sofa apart, only to find out it was NOT a sofa bed! I called the front desk to complain and they brought up a roll-away bed at no charge (gee, thanks). So, the roll-away bed took up all the extra space we had just paid so dearly for. What sense did this make? After speaking to the manager, they did agree to refund the upgrade charge. But overall, even without that hassle, the hotel is very dark and unfriendly. For my money, I'll take the Wyndham, which is only a block further off Michigan Avenue, but so much nicer! Leer más

"Business Traveler"
The rooms are nice as they are suites, but the staff is incompetent, especially security. Don't send them packages. If you are a business frequent traveler, this hotel lacks much. It's really geared for Tourists. No business center, no business emenities, and the pool is a big bath tub.

We had an all girls trip to your city and hotel and it was fabulous! The front desk manager Jewel was outstanding! She took time out of her day to order us a huge piece of birthday cake and a bottle of wine it was a great surprise. She could not have been nicer or more welcoming. "Great Service"
The Omni Chicago is located right in the middle of all the great shopping and dining on the Magnificent Mile. The service is outstanding and the rooms are a nice size and up to date. The hidden gem at the Omni is the 676 restaurant overlooking Michigan Ave. The hotel treats kids very special. We will stay here again.

"Downtown Chicago"
Excellent Hotel. We stay in downtown Chicago, at least, once a year, and this was one of our best experiences, yet. The staff really made the stay the best. The "676 Restaurant" particularly, is supreme. The Omni is well situated for getting anywhere in downtown Chicago, by foot or cab.

Beginning with the doorman Oliver who was very nice and definitely my three daughters favortit. There is also a wonderful man who is the concierge in the evenings I did not get his name but he was very, very knowledgeable and was a great resource. , The hotel was very clean, which I appreciate. There were a couple of things that were a bit of a downer […] about the hotel. First was a $200 deposit that was required for the minibar, which was totally unexpected and because we paid with a debit card this money was taken from the bank account, it was refunded two days later.
