The hotel was very nice. Great restaurant, rooms, etc. One of my biggest decisions in choosing a hotel is the fitness room. For that I was very dissapointed. The fitness room had outdated and poorly functioning equipment. For this reason alone I would not stay there again. The photos did not tell the story.

The Westminster is a terrific hotel for business meetings, couples and families, Great on site restaurant, in-door pool, hot tub and exercise room all are impressive. We'd stay there again in a New York minute.

Nice hotel.........safe area............not far from NY. I usually visit it twice a year for 3 or 4 days each time. Recommended. The only thing that I did not like was the restaurant.

This is the best hotel we've stay at so far in New Jersey and it was so corfortable and verse close to my husband's parents house. I'll definately stay here again.

i made my booking in this hotel and i chose a smoking room. when i arrived i didn't find my choice they said you have to call us to have your smoking room also when i booked, it has a free breakfast. when i arrived they told me that they do not serve a free breakfast in the weekend i think this is too bad things i had in this hotel

Staff were friendly, pool was warm. The pool area was beautiful, modern and clean. The whole hotel was clean. There was a chaise lounge in my room that seemed a little spotty, they should shampoo them now and then. The bed and pillows were very comfortable, however, the mattress did had a "rut" in the middle and we seemed to fall into that. Possibly […] due for flips or new mattresses. Easy access to the city and the town of Livingston seemed very nice. Would definitely go again for family or business. Leer más

I was awakened several times when nearby rooms flushed their toilet (really loud, like it was right in my room). Otherwise, hotel just fine...

This place was great. The rooms were luxurious with king beds and a plasma tv, large showers, nice towels. The staff was friendly. Liked it a lot. Incredibly priced. Would return and recommend to others.

Very nice place to stay in the area, zen spa like rooms with several amenities. Stayed here before and will again.

The Westminster Hotel is excellent. The Continental Breakfast is wonderful. It is however, missing a coffee shop. You have to order room service for lunch and dinner which is very expensive and the menu in the room has no prices on it.

The hotel was beautifull. The boyfriend and I roll around on the bed wowwwwwwwwww. Love it

The location of he hotel was perfect for us to visit our grandchildren. The hotel was lovely & would stay there again.

I was surprised that when I checked out that the hotel staff at the front desk didn't even ask if I enjoyed my stay or ask how was my stay. She just said, "OK you are all set". I asked for a receipt, she did not offer. I travel a great deal and am always treated in a much friendlier way. She did not seem to want to know my opinions. Checking in, on […] the other hand, I had a much friendlier person who took the time to tell me about the amenities. Another suggestion, have coffee available, even for sale, in the lobby. Waiting for coffee in the Strip restaurant to take out was awkward and inconvenient. Leer más

We were in a room facing Rt 10 and the traffic noise was very loud in our room. We wanted to leave a window open because it was stuffy in there and the AC was very loud. But there was annoying music coming from speakers in the front of the hotel which they turned off sometime at night. Then at 3 am there were loud people talking and smoking by the entrance […] of the hotel. Seems there are a lot of private parties/weddings there and there were groups of people talking at full volume in the halls at all hours. The door to the hall had a huge gap all around it so it let all the noise in and lots of light too (we used a towel to block some of the light coming from underneath the door so we could get our room dark.) My husband and I just wanted a couple nights of good sleep away from our 2 year old. Not a great place for that. Also, there is no continental breakfast on weekends. What's up with that? It was very clean, though. Nice toiletries and shower. Need to find a quieter location for our next mini-vacation. Leer más

I went here for an overnight stay with my boyfriend and we both loved it. The hotel is very clean, the staff is friendly, and the jacuzzi was relaxing. The only con was getting there took forever because we kept getting lost. GPS is a must when trying to find this hotel. But overall it's a wonderful experience. Excellent hotel. No complaints.

Chosen for proximity to family event. Hotel is somewhat sprawling, just to know if you don't want too much walking. I asked for a quiet room and was accommodated. That ended up putting me on the garden level, partly below grade, with the windows behind a parking lot hedge. For one night it was fine. I had a king size bed and with that, the room was […] quite commodious. Like with almost all hotels, not enough places to put things away, all drawers low, not enough good counter space in the bathroom with lots of stuff to please the eye over convenience, and not completely clean in out-of-the-way places like between the mattress and headboard. The front desk person on the way in spoke quickly and unintelligibly including two additional times I had her repeat herself. The front desk the next morning was gracious and pleasant. Maybe I'm inexperienced, but I was unable to find plain basic broadcast TV channels. It seemed everything worth watching was an extra charge. I thought the breakfast room would have benefited from some more daylight. Leer más

The staff was helpful and courteous. Me & my family was there for one night and and had an enjoyable stay. The pool area was very nice, loved it!

I stayed in the Garden level and it was noisy and the soda vending machine was out and they did not know when it would be fixed.

- Room was beautiful, clean and the bed was one of the most comfortable I have slept in -Hotel staff was friendly and helpful -Went to the restaurant twice-drinks and breakfast. For drinks the bartender was extremely inattentive. She was more concerned about trying to convince her manager to let her split a shift for Thanksgiving week than pouring […] drinks for customers at the bar. At breakfast the staff was rude and let dirty dishes pile on the table instead of clearing them. My only complaint is our room was located near the fitness center. At 630am every morning someone was on the treadmill. The door was open and it was very noisey. I called the front desk and asked that the door be closed, which they did promptly. However whenever someone opened the door to go in or out the treadmills were quite loud. Stayed just one night for a college visit with my son. The location was perfect for us. Only issue was the breakfast which they served in the bar of their upscale restaurant. A comfortable breakfast room would be much better.

I stayed at Westminster because of a wide spread power outage in NJ. The hotel is located right on Rt. 10 and close to stores, restaurants etc. My husband ate at their restaurant and the quality of food was ok. The room itself was tidy but a bit dusty. This is good hotel. We had a room Garden level. The fan kept us up all night. We talk to the manage she gave us new room on the 1st floor. Sleep like a baby.

My husband and I stayed here for our anniversary week-end in NYC. It was convenient to the city, without the expensive city prices. NYC was approx 20 miles away and hotel was easy to get to. I would highly recommend to anyone. The ammenities were far beyond what we had expected for the price we paid. Defnitely a 4-Star hotel. We were given a complimentary […] upgrade to Concierge level and was very pleased w/ the staff. They were courteous and very helpful. We ate at the hotel's restaurant and can honestly say the food and the service was comparable to any fine dining establishment. I would go back for the food alone. We will stay here again and even if you are not staying at the hotel, go to the restaurant, you will not be disappointed. Leer más

The room was great, very clean and the bed is excellent. Hotel service were good. The only concern was the complimentary breakfast on weekdays that was never been mentioned when you check in.
