"A pleasant surprise at Rio Rancho Days Inn"
We had a very clean room. It was a non-smoking room and did not smell like smoke at all. That was great for me because I am very allergic to smoke. I have stayed at hotels before where the rooms are said to be smoke free but they still stink of stale smoke smell when you get there. I was very pleased this time. Thank you!
At one time the room was a smoking room, triggered my asthma.

This is the first time I have stayed in a Days Inn and i would not return. A few minor instances: a dirty q-tip on our hotel room floor next to our bed from the previous customers. I also picked up a beer cap with my toes out of the hot tub. Also, i thought the breakfast was not very good at all. The waffles taste like playdough. The hotel was fine there was a group of young baseball players staying there so it was very loud and very crowded. The room was ok the carpet seamed a bit dirty but the rest of the room was ok

"Cleanliness of the hotel"
This hotel was filthy. The reception area was dirty and shabby. The girl behind the desk, Crystal, looked like she had not had a bath or washed her clothes in weeks. If we had not made the reservation through Hotels.com we would have gone elsewhere. The walkways by the staircase were covered with cigarette butts. The room smelled like smoke even though […] it was suppose to be a smoke free room. The bed was comfortable though and the linens were nice and clean. It was within walking distance to the shopping center and restaurants. I was happy with all aspects of the hotel. I had not booked through hotels.com before but was very satisfied.
This hotel looks much better in pictures than it does in person. The room we had was very run down and had stains all over the floor. They ran out of milk at breakfast the first day at 6:30am. The hotel room was ok. Bed wasn't very confortable or the pillows. I always bring my own pillows so in case that happens. The place was loud a high school basketball team stayed there. Nothing negative to say about this stay. The location was good, very close to my destination and had a great Asian restaurant and a BOA within walking distance. There was also a Target within walking distance too. Staff was friendly and very helpful. The food provided at breakfast was good with the waffle machine a particular standout. Maybe we don't […] get out enough, but my daughter and I really enjoyed it. The rooms were reasonably sized for two adults and a kiddo. They were as expected in a budget friendly hotel with the typical scratchy towels and tiny sink/vanity area. But, that is not a complaint, just an observation. The Carpets were a little worn and dirty, the bedspread had a large slice in it. The bathroom was very small and when we first arrived to the hotel, there was a big bug waiting for us, it’s always nice to get a friendly greeting. But you get what you pay for the price was very reasonable.

"Great room for the money! Really loved the beds!"
Our beds were the most comfortable we have ever used in a motel ever. We only had complaint of having too much light coming from window at night and having to go outside to go to the pool and no elevator, dragging up luggage for family was a pain.

many things in the room did not work. carpet was very dirty. Everything was old and needed replaced but it was cheap, so i guess i should have not expected much.
