"Next to a graveyard!"
This was a nice, clean, pleasant hotel with a good breakfast. It was RIGHT next to a graveyard -- that was the view from our window -- which freaked my kids out.

"Birthday visit"
the hotel was not within walking distance of the museum and park but that was the only disadvantage. The hotel, room, and amenities were all top notch.

Comfort Suites in Gettysburg PA is a very well run establishment. Everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable was provided. The locality was ideal for walking to a great area for eating. "Great Stay"
Stayed in a room with a King Bed and 2 Large chairs. Very large and nice room. Everything was clean and neat. Bathroom was very big and clean with lots of towels. Refrigerator was not very cold but we only had it for 1 night so it did not matter(longer on might of been colder). Microwave was also in the room. We had a very quiet night and slept well. "Beautiful facility"
This hotel is wonderful. The building is beautifully kept and the rooms are large and comfortable. Our room was very clean with plenty of towels. The AC was perfect, ran very quietly. "Gettysburg experience"
The Queen suite is perfect for families with children. This room was not as big as another Comfort Suite that we stayed in but it did serve it's purpose. There was a bit of noise that I heard from other rooms and the street but not enough to keep me awake. We did not use the pool so I cannot speak to that. The view from our window was the National cemetery, and was so fitting for one of the most haunted places in America. Our room was very comfortable and clean. The location is perfect..to the left is town, and the right is the National Park entrance, each less than a mile away. "Nice stay"
This hotel was clean and all employees friendly. An outdoor pool would have been more enjoyable as the weather was hot but all in all it was an enjoyable stay and we would definitely stay there again. We walked to many of the attractions but the walk thru the cemetary may not be for everyone.

"Convenient, but mediocre"
This hotel is centrally located to area attractions, but is right next to a cemetery-kind of creepy. The pool is tiny and the breakfast area didn't have enough tables or chairs to accommodate all guests. Our room was clean, and what we expected. The ammenities were not as nice as other Comfort Inn's we've stayed at.

Within walking distance of several attractions and restaurants. Pool is very small. We booked a "suite" for 5 people. It was not a suite. It was a room and it was crowded. Luckily, we spent very little time in the hotel.

"Excellent Choice"
The room was large...enough for 4 to sleep comfortably. The location is right around the corner from the Battlefield Visitors center. And the employees were friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this hotel.

"Very nice & convenient"
We married couple without kids & stayed two nights in the Comfort Suites. We had no complaints. The location was perfect; close to all attractions in Gettysburg. Yes, it backs up to a cemetery... I read several reviews prior to booking & some mentioned their discomfort with the hotel's proximity to the graveyard. Get over it! We all have deceased people […] in our families. Our room was right next to the elevator & I was a bit worried about potential noise, but it was not a problem. The room was clean & the bed comfortable. We would definitely stay here again. "Comfort Suites Gettysburg- Close... but needs help"
The hotel is pretty new and it very conveniently located. There are a couple of things that need to be addressed before I would stay there again or recommend it to anyone: 1) The breakfasts were terrible. I had better scrambled eggs when I served in the Army. Plus the dining area is WAY too small for the number of people who stay there. I would hate […] to see it when they are at full capacity. We had to take our plates upstairs to our rooms because there was nowhere to sit. The woman tending the breakfast bar just seemed to wander around. Juices stayed empty. Batter for waffles stayed empty. She would run out of eggs. It was a mess. 2) In our room, it amazed me that the house-keeping staff would not replenish items that were obviously empty or non-existent (shampoo, soap). I will say that the room was very roomy. 3) A minor thing that they probably have no control over was the elevator. That HAD to be one of the sloooooowest elevators I have ever experienced. This is a brand new hotel, and unlike many of the hotels in town it is a bit out of the way. It really is a bit of a hike from the center of town.
