La Quinta Inn & Suites Virginia Beach

Hotel was clean.Room was clean and comfortable. A/C and heat unit was a little noisy. All in all it was a nice stay at a good price.

The LaQuinta hotel in Va beach was clean, affordable, and in a great location. We were even able to bring our dog. Check it out it's worth it if you are in the area.

I usually quite enjoy the La Quinta. I travel with my dog. We were planning aw eekend beach escape during the winter, enjoying long walks along the beach. The hotel is one block away,near shops and restaurants. most convenient, thanks

It is the only one hotel which is not located very oceanfront, but you can reach the beach in 5minutes by walking. It was clean and has comparable price for its condition.

what a great find. All the staff were extremely helpful. Nice well maintained, clen hotel. Welcomed our dogs and had everything we needed.

Very happy with the hotel. It was close to the restaruant we needed to visit, plus they allowed to bring our english bulldog at no additional charge. The 'continental' breakfast was a little lacking, and the bagels were hard, & inedible.

location is good. But the sheet wasn't change, garbage can wasn't empty when we checked in. We called front desk got clean sheets and a credit of one free night - only at the same location.

Nice place for the price in a good location close to the beach. My only complaint is the breakfast needs improving. Overall i would recommend to others.

We checked in around 5:00 o'clock and were asked what took us so long to get there. The room was not bad but the desk area needed to be cleaned. The noise level was HIGH but it was pet friendly.

The hotel is only one block from the beach and did not have additional charge for our pet. The reception desk people were most accommodating and the maintenance staff was very prompt in replacing the refrigerator that was not working. Very nice staff, great friendly place for dogs, nice area to walk around, close to beach, clean and comfortable.

The hotel is much more run down than I expected. I know it isn't their busy season but parts of it just seemed rough. The breakfast staff were terrible but the rest of the staff was friendly.

Good value,price was right, everyone was pleasant, 1 block from the beach. The keys didn't work well. All and all good value for the money

I think this hotel like most La Quintas maintains the reliability of the brand. Not flashy, but no real weak spots either. It was quiet enough so I never heard my neighbors at night. They fixed two minor problems in my 3 night stay pronto and turned down my tip. The continental breakfast was not very good, however so I ate out two of my 3 mornings  […] there. Leer más

THe only complaint I had was--when I went to take a shower-the first water that came out was rusty. It surprized me, but clearly up quickly.

The La Quinta Inn @ Va Beach is a nice hotel for the price. It has a good continental breakfast and nice pool - one indoor and one outdoor. The staff is very helpful. The maintenance and cleanliness are the only things I was a little disappointed in. Labor Day weekend in Virginia Beach, though, I have to say, is CRAZY! I think this place has been recently renovated- as far as the rooms go! The outside is typical. The lobby ok. The free breakfast area was def dated, and the breakfast was really just cereal and make-yourself Belgium waffles.... But... I thought the room and amenities provided at this hotel are better deals than higher rated hotels like the Hilton or […] Marriotts that I usually stay in. The parking is free and wireless Internet was free (in your room too!!)...a thing that comes at a price at the aforementioned hotel chains (despite paying more)...in fact our bedding was identical to the upscale Marriott chained renaissance hotel in Seattle, and furniture too... So it was a complete surprise because I thought it was be dumpy. Walk to beach is short and pleasant. Harry teeters is literally behind the hotel. Would absolutely stay again! Staff friendly. 1 block from ocean, just close enough to walk and not be in the hustle and bustle with paying oceanfront prices.

This hotel was clean, a close walk to the beach and restaurants and they allowed us to check in at 1:00pm.

I originally thought that La Quinta was on the beach based on the price, but minor investigation will tell you otherwise. The place is simple, clean, and the staff is kind and helpful. I would likely stay at a place on the beach next time, but for my purposes, this did the job.

We have stayed at several of the hotels on the beach and paid much more per night for those rooms. La Quinta Inn & Suites Virginia Beach 2800 Pacific Ave was by far the cleanest and most comfortable room we have stayed in. The only drawback was that it isn't on the beach, it's a block away. This hotel does not have much to offer for one the rooms at La Quinta in have very little space and not only that but it looks nothing like what they show in the pictures. when we went there 4 days ago our toilet got clogged up and we called for maintenance and it took about 3 hours for them to come and when we got there we saw a lot of people checking […] in with dogs and cats and i guess that is what explained the pet odors in the room but i would definitely say do not stay here go to another hotel because it has really poor service and the people in the front desk after every call complained about the work they did and about the people who called. not worth the money. It was great to find a pet friendly rom but when we went in there was a cell phone blaring on the desk. No trash bags, trash in the corners. Didn't appear to have been cleaned under the bed either.

I recently stayed at the La Quinta in two different locations in Virginia. The hotel was great and the amenities were even better. Thank you for offering such a good value to your customers. I recently got a new puppy and was able to take him with me on vacation. I would definately stay in any La Quinta again.

This was perfect for us and our two dogs. Very pet-friendly. Easy walk to beach, shopping and food. And it has a pool which was a must for my wife.

The hotel was clean and allowed pets. We actually arrived at the hotel 3 hours early and the went ahead checked us in early without any charges. I realized they didn't have to do for me. Wonderful staff, clean rooms, nice breakfast. My only complaint is that they don't limit pets to certain floors, like I've found in other hotels, so they can't offer rooms that have been pet free. When I requested a pet-free room at check in, they explained that they shampoo carpets, etc. after occupants with pets have stayed in a room. I have a hard […] time believing that. I was not at happy with the overall condition of the hotel. It was a last minute get away for me and my husband. My room was located at the very end of the halll and it did not have a good view (small windows), loud air conditioning unit and dirty floors were dirty. On the 2nd day, we return back to the room after 3pm and the room had not been cleaned. […] Called and complained to the front desk and they did not appear very concern. When we return after 6pm the room was cleaned (but not the floors) and the door nob fell off. Called the front desk again, maintanence came immediately but was not able to fix the door knob and we had to move to another room. We were assisted by the maintanence guy no one from the front desk called to see if we were ok or need anything. 2nd room was much better...modern air condiitoning unit and a cleaner room. It was a good experience for us and our son. We asked for a non smoking room and when we arrived we were given a room in the 7th floor which is a smoking floor. The room smelled like cigarette but the view was wonderful so we decided to stay. They brought a bottle of Fabreeze and we put towels on the bottom of the doors to block out the smell; After […] that, the room didn't smell anymore. The beds were very comfortable. We slept very well those nights. The bathroom was clean and not moldy. The only thing I didn't like is that the room was very dusty. They came to clean it a few times but it was still dusty. The pools were nice and not crowded. We just had to walk 2 short blocks to go to the beach. The breakfast was very good and it was nice that we were able to bring it to the room. There is a subway across the street and a seven eleven a block away. There are not a lot of restaurants around but everything is pretty much close by. We stayed at this hotel before but this time I was pleasantly surprised with how comfortable the room was. The hotel is 2 blocks from the beach. Very easy to get there. Traveled with kids and the breakfast was a great plus.

The staff were very friendly. Breakfast was quite good, with waffles. The location was good for the price. Plenty of restaurants and a grocery store nearby. I was not traveling with a pet, but the hotel must be very nice with pets, as there were quite a few people staying there with their dogs.

We picked this place because of the mostly good reviews, location, and pet friendly. Fairly good reservation experience through hotels.com, but not very good customer service. Hotel was fithly, no cleaning crew around. There was food in the elevator floor, you couldn't see through the windows on the lobby floor, and the only things that were pleasant […] were the staff and location. The air conditioning barely worked and there was no ventilation in the rooms, not even in the bathroom. The bed cover was a tough fabric like a rug and there were not enough towels in the bathroom for the number of guests in the room. We had looked at previous reviews and thought this would be a great place to stay due to it's proximity to the beach and Harris Teeter is right next door. The location is fantastic. The rooms and service leaves you wondering why you even thought about booking here. First off the room had a horrible stench of smoke, eventhough the receptionist said this […] was a non-smoking room. To resolve the problem they gave us an air fresher spray and said use this to fix the problem. Secondly after one night of stay there I notice multiple red dots on my forearm and neck. After close inspection and examination of the bed, bedbugs were seen. I caught and killed 5 of them and who knows how many more are there. If you don't mind the smell of smoke and begbugs, this is the place for you. For everyone else, I would avoid this place unless management changes its cleaning policies. Leer más
