Les comparto esto porque considero que al hacer esta encuesta les interesa la opinion de sus clientes, y porque creo que se estan preocupando para mejorar su hotel y existen cambios que solo implican un poco de atención sin ningún gasto o minimo. La atención de la recepcionista fue deficiente, no recuerdo el nombre pero era una mujer cerca de los 40, no muy alta y un poco llenita que me atenndio el jueves al llegar como a la 1:00 am, le pregunte si hablaba español a lo cual se molesto y de ahi en adelante me atendio muy parcamente y sin ningún interes. La otra es las habitaciones estan muy bien en cuanto a baño y limpieza, pero les falta cambiar alfombra (gastada aunque limpia) y el sillon de la entrada se ve de tapiceria vieja y contrasta con lo demas que se ve que le estan hechando las ganas. Ah y el control de la tele se vei que tenia pilas nuevas pero no estaba programado para la tele por lo que no servia, y con la atencion que nos dio la señorita ni pensar en preguntar algo. El Lobby se ve muy bonito y amplio aparte de limpio. El desayuno talvez con un poco de fruta mejoraria bastante.

Un pequeño hotel enfrente de Japantown, con un diseño unico y original, todo funcionando y una atencion EXCELENTE. Sinceramente si encuentran una oportunidad con este hotel, RESERVARLO YA!!!

Muy buen hotel, el personal es agradable y acomedido. Los elevadores rápidos y numerosos. La alberca no es excelente pero tampoco mala. Pros: Aprovechen el servicio de concierge que es de mucha ayuda para concocer la ciudad y hacer cualquier tipo de reservación. Las instalaciones de gimansio, sauna y vapor son excelentes ($10 dolares por habitación […] por toda la estancia que valen la pena gastar) El Mason Cafe está a unos cuantos pasos y es buenísima opción para desayunar ya que es muy sabroso y no es muy caro. "Bien en general, pero encontramos un bicho..."
No obstante que la limpieza fue buena, encontramos un bichito en la sábana. Nos hicieron un cambio un poco dilatado de sábanas, pero no ofrecieron siquiera un cambio de habitación, lo cual refleja un poco la actitud del servicio, digamos que no se desviven por que estés contento, les da igual. Sobre todo si ya tienes tu habitación pagada a través de […] hotels.com; lo cual, en general ha sido una constante. "El Hotel Nikko SF es muy bueno ... excepto..."
En general muy bueno el hotel Nikko SF. Las habitaciones y el servicio de Front Desk muy bueno y rapido en atender las consultas y check in fue rapido, check out tambien. La limpieza y mantenimiento del hotel estan bien, la habitacion es comoda y amplia (la deluxe king), baños bien mantenidos. El spa no vale la pena. Gym mediano. Dos puntos que no […] quedamos satisfechos: una de ellas fue que pedimos desayuno y esperamos 45 minutos para volver a llamarlos y nunca llego, no lo habian preparado (solo eran dos bagels y un jugo). Pesimo el servicio de desayuno room service Lo otro muy MALO fue el restaurante dentro del hotel ANZU, malisimo. Es comida japonesa, pero muy mala. Pedimos un plato que supuestamente contenia spaghuetti pero no era pasta, al final era zanahoria rallada con tofu frito. No explicaban eso. Eso si fue horrible y caro, la comida no valio la pena, una lastima. Es tipo gourmet pero lo unico de gourmet fue lo chiquito que eran las porciones realmente no recomendable! El resto, bastante bien, cerca a todo los shopping y el mall de Westfield que es bien bonito. Si me volveria a quedar, ya son dos veces que hemos escogido este hotel este año pero nada de comer en el mismo hotel. "Nikko San Francisco"
Nos quedamos dos veces en este hotel, la primera vez nos dieron una habitacion MUY chiquita, la segunda vez hicimos un upgrade y estuvimos en el piso ejecutivo en una habitacion divina y super amplia, pero la diferencia de una habitaciona a otra es toda!!! Esta super bien ubicado y el servicio estuvo ok.

STAYED IN THE NIKKO FLOOR (ABOVE 22/F). NICE VIEW - CAN WATCH SUNSET. BIG AND CLEAN ROOM. BUFFET (INCLUSIVE) IS NICE (ESP THE JAPANESE-STYLE BREAKFAST) AND FRUIT ARE FRESH. "Fantastic hotel experience"
Cannot fault our stay at this hotel. Stayed 17th Dec 2011 to 22nd Dec. The location was fantastic - just around the corner from Union Square (which is a must location in the festive season). The room was wonderful in size and cleanliness. Buffet breakfast was excellent. Free warm apple cider on arrival at check in was very welcoming. The Xmas decorations […] were also festive, and added that special touch to our stay. Would stay at this hotel when next visiting San Fran again, and would definitely recommend it to anyone. "Nice deal, but..."
Enjoyable stay, but do they really need to charge $20 extra just to use the pool? I have a 12 year old son, who really wanted to use the indoor pool so I paid the $20. The "deal" I had wasn't much of a deal after that.

We came into town (from a peninsula small city) to see Jack Jones' performance. The room was just OK. We WERE offered an upgrade if we bought a hotel breakfast the next morning. We already made other plans, so had to decline the offer. I'm really sorry we did. All in all, the hotel is beautiful, and the staff was great. "Convienent location"
Lovely rooms and great location. Would have been perfect if they offered free wifi and car parking was less expensive. Concierge was helpful and hotel was big and very nicely decorated. Fridge in room did not work but they quickly brought up a new one.

"Winter Vacation"
We have stayed at the Nikko several times. The staff are excellent and the location near union square is also very nice. The breakfast buffet which includes both full Japanese and American choices is very good and was included with the price from hotel.com. This is one of the few hotels in town with a nice pool which is great for children. One point […] was the room was adequately cleaned when we first entered it. we called housekeeping and they came back. "Oasis in the Heart of San Francisco"
Spent my birthday at Hotel Nikko in San Francisco and couldn't have been more pleased. Its location, near Union Square in SF, allowed us to walk to shopping and dining. Although it is located on bustling Mason St., once through the doors I experienced a calm, zen-like feeling. Great location close to Union Square. Originally booked a petite queen room but room was so small that I paid extra to upgrade. All rooms seemed to be quite small but the room was very well furnished with new modern furniture. Been to the Nikko before for dinner. It was a really nice stay once we got a better room. First room was real nice but small for what I was expecting. They moved us the second night and it was great for the next few days. Clean. Great view. Super comfy.
"Not a four star hotel"
This is an average hotel. The rooms are so so, and the staff isn't overly helpful. I have stayed here twice out of convenience, and found it lacking both times. I wouldn't recommend it, especially with a couple of four star hotels within a block of Nikko.

Overall a great hotel and bargain. The location is within walking distance to tons of things and there are trains and trolleys close by to things that aren't. "Loved It"
I stayed here for one night at the end of a month long trip as i wanted somewhere nice. Hotel was more than others but well worth it. Room was a nice size, with a very comfortable big bed that allowed a great nights sleep, bathrooms are large. "Hotel Nikko San Francisco - Great place to stay"
Very nice, modern hotel 2 blocks from Union Square. Our 'superior' room was nicely decorated, though somewhat small - large enough for the king size bed, chair, desk+chair, but no room to get past the bed if someone was in the chair at the desk. Only complaint was the price to park at $51.30/day and high daily internet charge.
"Good location but a little tired"
Everything OK and very convenent for downtown, but for the price I would say that the room is a little small and the decor a little tired. Having to pay extra for Internet access is quite an imposition in this day and age. Didn't eat/drink in the hotel so can't comment about these.

Wonderful hotel- great locatioin- one block to Union Square. There is a Starbucks in the hotel. Free newspapers. A health club and pool that is heated and indoors. We have stayed three times the last three years and will stay again next year for the Xmas holidays.

The location of this hotel is great. We were able to go shopping and have dinner just by walking a few blocks. The Conceirge was very helpful in getting reservations for dinner at popular restaurants. Also because there is a club where we can enjoy entertainment on the first floor, it was so wonderful! Plus the health club was great.

I had a Thanksgiving Holiday vacation with my family. My room was two beds and an extra bed for four people and room was clean and nice! I am sure I will come back to stay this Nikko Hotel in 2012.

"Hotel Nikko in San Francisco -- wonderful"
We liked everything about Hotel Nikko. Highlights were: the well-equipped gym, the pool/hottub, reasonably priced upgrade and amenities that came with the upgrade, warm Japanese "culture", happy hour, simple continental breakfast as well as diverse buffet, friendly staff. We'll be back!

I booked this room over Veterns Day weekend and was surprised with the low rate I received. I expected some issue or problem with the booking or room, the rate or something but was very pleasantly surprised when the Hotel looked as nice as it did online, the room was comfortable and large but San Francisco standards and it was in a great location. The lobby and main areas are quite lovely. The hotel is in a great location, walking distance to everything, but the rooms are really tired. Although clean, they are very boring and uninspiring. Definitely could use a remodel.

Hotel is in a great location, close to transport, food and shopping. Couple of minutes walk from the Powell st BART station (from SFO airport), union square and trams. Check in/out was very quick, didn't have any problems. very helpful front desk people, both in and out. Room was very nice, on the compact side ...no extra room for doing real desk work but we were there for leisure. The concierge was not good - he either was unclear or had wrong info (re parking discount - he said 50% off if we went to the Rrazz Room for the show which we did - but it was actually only […] $10 off the first 2 hours, and yet we spent $100 on drinks and food).
