Elegimos este hotel porque estaba cerca del aeropuerto. En efecto, a una parada de metro y muy cómodo. Esperábamos un poco más del hotel, que nos defraudó bastante. Las recepcionistas, antipáticas y sin ánimo de ayudar al cliente. El aspecto de la entrada, sucio. La habitación excesivamente pequeña. Nada más entrar tuvimos que abrir las ventanas porque […] olía fatal. Al abrir la cama, encontramos un pelo negro y largo. this was such a great place to stay esp over the holiday weekend....even though everything was closed, we were still able to enjoy our stay because the in house starbucks & their restaurant was open too. a bonus was their swimming pool too! great service & wonderful top view of the city. we did get the pinnacle room, but next time we will just stay […] in their regular room because its not really worth more for it and it has its OWN coffee machine, unlike the pinnacle rooms...enjoy! also....we ate our breakfast at starbucks, the breakfast they have is like 35 francs....yikes :) Leer más

This is great for those travelling to Zurich for concerts at the Hallenstadion. The bar/restaurant in the hotel Muj is excellent (combination of trendy and hip). The spa on the top floor is compact(infinity pool, jacuzzi, steam and sauna) but with stunning views. It isonly two stops on the train to the main station downtown Zurich. great hotel away from the hustle bustle of center, but next to station and tram stop which takes you to center in max 15 mins. heated indoor pool on top is great. much better than small hotels that you get in center. staff is most helpful. overall it was a very comfortable stay

Hotel is good to stay if you need to be in airport next morning - it is not too far. But it is not good, if you plan to see Zurich, I think there is no any public transport close, you can use only taxi or your car-but than you will have problems with parking in Zurich center. And good food in hotel restaurants (you have […] to use them, because nothing special is around), but not cheap :) And I think, it is strong 4* hotel, but quite far from 5* - nobody even comes to take luggage... Everything works. People are nice and efficient. Hotel is great. Price is steep, especially with the strong franc.

Nice, modern hotel - very comfortable. While not that close to the old city the tram system is very efficient and easy to use. Very helpful and friendly front desk staff!

Very nice hotel. Good service. Comfortable beds. Great shower. Good A/C. Convenient location, right across Oerlikon train station. 5 min to central station and 5 minutes to airport.

Great and friendly staff, the room would be even better with a make-over (view was great, though). Very convenient distance from the airport (take the train, not a taxi). My only problem was the air condition - arriving to the room was like entering a freezer. Good location for an overnight stay. located between Old Town and airport, across the street from major train station. We stayed on the 24th floor and it was a wonderful view.

I have stayed in this hotel twice before and everytime I get a different style room. Some are great some are just basic. It does not seem to be related to the price you pay for the room, but more what they have available when you check in.

The hotel itself is a decent location, being directly across from a train station. The surrounding neighborhood leaves a bit to be desired. Eating choices in the hotel and in the area are limited. The room was realtively clean but looked as if it had been half redone and half old. Bathroom is tiny and kind of grimy. The cost for internet service is […] ridiculously high. We stayed in Zurich only for one night, and we had the opportunity to have a 27th floor room. Comfortable and clean, the room offered a gorgeous panoramical view upon Oerlikon. Not far from the center of Zurich, very well connected with the city, the hotel's location was great as we arrived by train. This hotel is modern and luxurious with fantastic customer service. As it offers car parking and is located next to Oerlikon train station it's a fantastic alternative for those requiring secure car parking (available for the very hefty price of CHF 36 per 24 hours underneath the hotel). Trains take 6 mins and depart every 5mins to Zurich HB (CHF 6.20 […] each way) with last returns at around 00:21 (or 24 hours during Zuerifaest when I visited). Apparently, taxis only cost CHF 30 too. I would highly recommend this hotel for those wanting to visit Zurich city centre whilst on a short visit whilst waiting for connecting flights as Zurich Airport is also only 7 mins (CHF 6.20 each way) by train. The hotel was impressive. The staff was very friendly aside from the dry reception and send-off by the front desk staff. Keep in mind that this hotel is NOT in central Zurich and not close to the Bahnhoffstrasse shopping area. The Oerlikon train station is right across the street and the hotel concierge will give you exact directions on how to take […] the train to Zurich HB. You should also purchase a train pass from the concierge to avoid confusion. Also, dining in this area was kind of awkward; perhaps if we had asked the concierge we may have had more luck. Leer más

The location of this hotel is great. The tram and train station are literally at your feet. The hotel is clean. The staff is pleasant, helpful, and prompt when responding to guest requests. Even though staying in the heart of Zurich is probably a great experience too, one of my favorite things to do was to hop on the tram in the morning and just go […] anywhere I wanted with the absolutely clock-work public transportation system. If I ever make it to Zurich again, I will definitely seek out the Swissotel again. Leer más

As a first timer in Zurich, my one night stay at Swissotel was excellent. Hotel easy to get to on train or tram. The surrounding area was vibrant and had a lot of restaurants. Staff and locals were very friendly, wished I could have stayed longer.

Breakfast and Hotel Parking were outragous Bfast $35.00 per person and parking $35.00 per night, everything in Zurich expensive but thought these particularly high from a hotel chain.

as the hotel was close to the train station, next visit I will stay in center of town not in this location.

Great location with accress to train and shops. Friendly staff with nice rooms

We spent a week at the hotel. Service was exemplary; room extremely clean and comfortable; everyone was friendly; breakfast buffet was amazing. The hotel was directly across from the train and trolley station - extremely convenient and very quiet. We will definitely stay there again.

Really nice, clean hotel. 2 train stops from downtown Zurich, only about a 10 minute train ride. The hotel is right across from the train station so getting around was really easy. I booked specifically for two people and got a "discount" by paying in advance for the room so there was no way to change. The room was very pleasant, but the bed was a double, and we're both tall. There was also just one towel. Oh, and the reason I paid more was for use of the sauna since we were flying back to the US the next morning. Sorry, it's […] closed for the evening. The hotel's location is excellent. Literally right next to a train station, market and places to eat. It's very convenient. The hotel is overall pretty nice, but they do NOT provide free wireless internet or NO FREE breakfast. It's always nice when hotels are able to provide free breakfast. The only dissatisfaction we had was a phone bill situation […] that my mother in law experienced. The front desk told her exactly where to get a phone card where she would be able to use from her room. When she checked out she got a surprising phone bill that charged her op TOP of the calling card she used for all the international calls she made. We stayed at Swissotel Zurich before and they did NOT charge her before. The staff should have CLEARLY informed her that there would be an additional charge. They were wrong! Leer más

Rooms are small but well equiped, comfortable and clean. Attrative bar and restaurant. Perfect location for short stay with easy rail connection to the airport and the city center.

We stayed for only one night, but wish we'd been able to stay another. Staff was very friendly and helpful, room was comfortable, immaculate, and had a great view.

We really enjoyed the Zurich trip, the Swissotel is well located and well maintained. I would definitely suggest and stay in Swissotel in future

hotel 5 minutes from the airport , by train . 5 minutes to city centre . great transport system . hotel gave us tickets that covered bus , tram , train and boats . lots of shops and resturaunts just outside the door .

We booked this hotel the morning before we went to Zurich and got an excellent deal on our three night stay (Easter weekend). Included in our stay was complimentary breakfast every morning from 0630 to 1400, which was by far the best hotel breakfast I've ever had. The hotel is right next to a train station, which provides easy access to the Zurich […] airport, Zurich Hauptbanhof and to the downtown area. Furthermore, the hotel provided us with free transit passes for the three days we were there! The hotel, our room, and the surrounding area were very clean. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. They gave us good restaurant recommendations and were very accomodating to our needs. We stayed the Easter weekend and it was a very good experience. The spa, the proximity to the centre by train and the breakfast made were the pluses. The pillows could have been a bit better but that's a matter of personal taste and to be fair, I didn't ask in reception for a new one. We stayed here over Easter weekend, and the hotel was offering a special for the holiday: Free roon upgrade, free train, tram, bus tickets for the entire time of are stay, free continental breakfast which was great (tons of food to pick from)and we got a swiss chocolate bunny! The hotel is literally a 4 minute train ride from the airport and just a […] 15-20 minute tram ride into the city center. Nice hotel close to railway, so very quick to get into the city. However be prepared to hear the trains also to a certain degree, not so bad so. Breakfast was served until 14:00 on a public holiday, which was very nice and saved me the lunch...

This hotel far exceeded my expectations. It was spotless, well maintained and modern. A large lobby, friendly staff and an INCREDIBLE breakfast. If you are accustomed to staying in the best hotels, I'd recommend this hotel.

Hotel location is 1 train stop from Zurich airport so very convenient Hotel staff very helpful and friendly Rooms very clean Only complaint is they do not exchange coin Euro's for Swiss Francs. They will only exchange paper Euro's. They were not able to tell me why this was their policy.
