la habitacion que elegi al principio por internet era muy pequeña asi que pedi una mas amplia y me la cambiaron sin ningun cargo adicional. la atencion fue sumamente buena las personas del front desck fueron muy colaboradoras y amables

Estuve 7 dias alojado en el hotel, y solo dos dias pasaron los dependientes al respectivo aseo de la habitación. En la habitación no llegaba la señal para wi-fi, lo cual se pfrece y debiamos ir hasta el lobby para poder tener internet. por lo dem{as todo excelente

I like this hotel. It's ideally located for shopping and dining in Center City. My one complaint is they haven't put in ice makers. Allison at the front desk was helpful, friendly and professional.

The hotel was under construction while I was there, but this did not take away from my experience whatsoever. The room was beautifully remodeled and everyone who worked there was accomodating. The ice machines had not been installed yet, so one of the workers brought up us for us.

"Tops in Philly"
Very nice accommodations located in a great place! Well run and polite/professional staff. Good size hotel.. not too big... convenient for work, but feels more like a boutique. Restaurant will be opening soon - can't wait. I will definitely stay there again!

I am very happy to give The Latham a fantastic review for the weekend I spent there. Really fabulous decor for both the room and the common areas, very comfortable bed, great bathroom... with Neutrogena products. I especially appreciate little touches like the iPhone charger, free wireless and the two bottles of water. Stayed in the Latham for one night on a quick visit to Philly. From the moment my girlfriend and I pulled up to the hotel, it was nothing but a pleasurable experience. The door man, who set us up for the valet, was exceptionally nice and a great representation of the hotel. Once inside, the receptionist at the front desk was quick to get us checked […] in and on our way. My stay was on the 13th floor, so I didn't have some of the view issues that others have talked about. Having a corner room meant I had two banks of windows which made the view even better. The room itself was very clean and beautifully set up. The fridge was even cleverly hidden inside the TV stand, so as to maintain the aesthetics of the room. Walking in to classical music playing on the iHome clock was a nice touch. The King Size bed was exceptionally comfortable and helped me get a rare chance to sleep through the night. I only have two small nit picks about my stay: 1. If you're going to have an HD TV in the rooms, an HD feed would be appreciated. 2. A "Do Not Disturb" sign wasn't anywhere in the room. Leer más
"Great location"
A well-managed, centrally located business hotel. Steps to shopping, dining and entertainment. We were there for the Mummer's Parade and enjoyed our stay. The beds were terrific and the street views very nice.Only the $38 per night parking seemed excessive.

"Latham Hotel - great location, terrible service"
The place is newly renovated, and has a great modern feel to it. Its in a great location, within walking distance of many shops and restaurants. Service, however, was awful. We were lost on the way there, and couldn't get in touch with anyone at the front desk. I had a question late at night, but no one was available to answer front desk. Service personnel […] (when available) were not helpful, and expected guests to know area. If you're familiar with the city and need a place to stay, then go for it. "Pleasantly surprised"
It's a great hotel with wonderful staff. I made a special request for a room with a view and hotel staff gave us the 10th floor looking out onto the city. I only had to inquire about where I could get something and staff replied "I'll bring it up to your room myself" for several requests The only negative about the hotel is getting valet parking in […] a timely fashion. Getting the car onto 17th street and then finding a place to put the car while we waited for valet was difficult. At check-out it took 20 minutes for valet to return the car. "Latham - New and Improved"
The location is great. The hotel has been upgraded. The rooms are well appointed, and comfortable. The elevator is still slow and the doorman needs a little more training. Nice hotel, worth the money.

From arrival with prompt, courteous valet service and registration, the entire stay was very satisfying. "Great neighborhood"
Neighborhood is awesome! Lot's of great shopping and tourist spots around. Hotel was clean and newly renovated. Bed is comfortable. My only complaints are witht he shower: It took 5 minutes of running the water to get hot water Water pressure in shower was dismal. All else good!
"No Food, No Hot Water, Thin Walls"
My partner and I stayed here for marathon weekend. We booked it based on the reviews and location. We have previously stayed at the Sofitel last time we visited Philly. Needless to say, when we arrived we were very disappointed. The restaurant was closed for renovations, so no room service. It took about 7 minutes for the water in the shower to turn […] warm. And the walls are VERY thin. I was awoken at midnight to the sound of talking in the room next to me. The staff were nice, but that was about it. I only spent one night in this hotel. They are renovating the lobby area so the check in area is very plain. The room was nice and the location is great. It is close to the suburban train station and within walking distance of most of Philadelphia's major attractions.

Didn't have any information in the room about land marks that was close to the hotels , night-life and restaurants. In shower on the soap rack thier was someone else hair!!!!!!!!

"Good value...great location"
I stayed at The Latham in Philly for two nights...the location is perfect, right in the middle of everything, close to Rittenhouse Square. The hotel is still undergoing renovations so their restaurant was closed but it's not a big deal...lots of places to eat in the neighborhood! The only glitch is that when we got back in our room in late afternoon […] the second day, housekeeping had never showed up to clean the room...that was a bit of a bummer! Also, when I called to get help on signing in for Internet access, I spoke to a young man who was pretty curt and who told me he wasn't familiar with the hotel system...gave me a password that didn't work! So I'd wait until renovations are done to stay there...they may have their act together a little better! Leer más

"The Latham Hotel, Center City Philadelphia"
despite not being fully renovated, the Latham was beyond any expectations i could have had. from the very friendly front desk staff, the service oriented and informative door men and the accommodating cleaning staff, it was a wonderful experience. the only down side was the fact that the hotel's NEW restaurant, "Urban Enoteca" was not yet open (scheduled […] for April 2012), but due to it's prime location, there are many fine restaurants within walking distance to choose from, including "Le Bec Fin", Philadelphia's finest! If you like to shop, it's everywhere on Walnut Street, as well as many of the city's historic buildings and attractions being within walking distance. overall, if you choose to stay at the Latham, it's a win-win! The location is great, but there is a weird smell and vibe in the elevator and halls. The room was okay, but, for the price, the Omni is much better.

Hotel is VERY cool, but is still in the process of being remodeled. Some things, like the elevators, still need work, and some amenities aren't yet built into what will be the "new" Latham. But, the location is awesome, the rooms are very cool, and the price is right. We're looking forward to going back when the bar and restaurant are finished.

Hotel room was nicely furnished in a modern, art deco style. Bathroom was large and stylish. Good strong reading lamps. Very good value overall. Disadvantages were no restaurant or lounge as they were being renovated. Good location with many restaurantscafes nearby so lack of restaurant wasn't a horrible drawback. Latham was a ver nice stay. Convient to the Union Club.Presently the hotel is remodeling so no bar or restaurant. The hotel doorman could not have been nicer or more knowledgeable. The decor of the room was all new and most pleasant. Bed was luxjurious. Room was quiet. The Latham Hotel is in an excellent location in Philadelphia. It is only a few blocks from the Suburban Rail Station--easy to get to from the airport. The location in the City Center is convenient for a visitor.
