Muy buen hotel, buen servicio, perfectamente ubicado, a unos metros de la Grand Place y de la estacion de tren, habitación cómoda, lo recomiendo...

El hotel está fenomenal. Justo al lado tanto de la Grand Place como de la estación de trenes Bruxelles Central. Sin embargo, la calle en la que está ubicado es muy tranquila. Llegamos muy pronto pensando que tendríamos que dejar la maleta unas horas hasta que tuvieramos lista la habitación, pero nos la dieron directamente. Repetiré sin duda.

Un hotel con pretensiones pero con un servicio que no está acorde con las mismas. Un desayuno de lo más vulgar a precios desorbitados, mientras los camareros van recogiendo lo que sobra en las mesas para volverlo a colocar en las vitrinas delante de los clientes.... y si se usa alguno de los servicios del hotel, preguntar primero el precio, porque la […] factura puede ser un auténtico atraco. El hotel está junto a la Grand Place y una estación de metro, desde las cuales te puedes mover a todos los sitios. Las habitaciones estaban limpias y grandes para estar en el norte de Europa. La única pega la discoteca que hay enfrente.

Hotel is ideally located just 2 minutes walk from the central station. Friendly staff. Rooms are ok but miss some amenities for a 5 stars.

This hotel was probably a five hotel 30 years ago. However, nowadays it is old, decaying and could do with a lick of paint. The location is very good, as it is close to the Grand Place and the central train station. The rooms are OK clean but dated, the staff are friendly enough. Liked the location of being right near the train station and important sites in central Brussels. Small fitness center with a few cardio machines and some weights, fine for standards of European cities. Cable internet service was not working so they gave me wireless access for free--showed very good customer service. Staff not helpful but good location.

All the peripheral bars, club and facilities attached to the hotel were closed. Rooms were too small and in desperate need of refreshing.

Steps away from the Brussels Central train station and the famous Grand Place, the Royal Windsor Grand Place Hotel could not be more perfectly placed. The staff were gracious and helpful and I would highly recommend it.

The hotel has an excellent location which made up for the other factors which had fallen below expectations. We had high expectations on booking the hotel, however, a few points were disappointing namely: Rooms are in need of a renovation. OPur room was a non-smoking one, however, had a strong tobacco odour. We complained to reception who didn't seem […] to take us very seriously but agreed in the end to transfer us to another room (even though the hotel wasn't full). The next room was smelling equally as bad of stale tabacco. Given we were only staying for 1 night we put up with it. I was quite shocked to learn to have a tea making facilities in the room meant paying an additonal 8 Euros, something I hadn't encountered before even in the cheapest hotels! I'd expect this to be complimentary given the hotels star rating and the amount you pay for as room. I find the principle of paying extra for what is normally included in your room very poor indeed. Bathroom was a little old with leaking shower. As mentioned overall the hotel served it's purpose given it's excellent location, however, in hindsight I believe we could have got better value for money at an alternate nearby hotel. Leer más

Lovely Hotel with a great location. Breakfast far too expensive 30 Euros each but loads of cafes and bars nearby to eat in. Very clean and well presented, lovely would go back. Just one thing car park very costly 25 Euros to park overnight can park in the nearby car parks for a lot less and just a small walk, would go back though spotless!

We had a short stay booked and stayed only two nights. The exterior and interior of the hotel was lovely. The staff were friendly though I was expecting them to be rude after reading some reviews before my stay. Fortunately for us the staff were very accomodating. The hotel has fantastic location, walking distance to all attraction almost. However because of the smoking rooms in the same building, my non-smoking room smelt just as if someone had been smoking in it anyway. Checked us in to our room even though we were very early which was great. Very convenient location but not right on the Grand Place which was good as it would have been noisy at night. Very comfortable room ['Superior' which for them is 'Standard'] with everything you would expect + a bit more. For what you get.

I arrived at this hotel with my partner having recieved a very good deal for a one night stay, and was pleasantly suprised when we were upgraded to an executive suite (having booked a superior room). The suite was lovely with excellent views of the grand place - which was especially beautiful when lit up at night time. We ordered room service, which […] was lovely. All staff we're very friendly and went out of their way to help. Additionally, this hotel accepted dogs (for a small additional charge, cheaper than many others) which was the main reason we booked in to this hotel. We will definately be returning soon. Leer más

The hotel could not have been in a better location. We were close to everything. The staff was polite, but not overly friendly. Also, we could not get our room to cool down at all. Maybe the thermostat was broken in our room. The room was kept clean, but several times the staff would come in to clean before we were even awake. Stay for 2 night, it was certainly not a 5 star hotel as they had stated. Staff was extremely unfriendly. The bath products were not Bulgari as their website had described, just some generic items. Rooms were very small, but clean. Location was good, very close to the Grand Place.

Booked the hotel on a whim on a Friday afternoon as we'd never been to Brussels before and it turned out to be the perfect place to explore from. Staff were fantastic and facilities were spot on. The thermostat was stuck in high. The rooms are tiny (all older European hotels suffer from this fate) and staff was indifferent at best. Te location is worth the pain though. this is a very nice hotel close to the city center.

The hotel is readily reached from the exit to the main line "Brussels Centraal" Station. The Metro exit is a tortuous route away. The hotel is a very good standard. Try and get a room that is at the front. The rear overlooks the fire exit. Breakfast is exorbitantly expensive. So, go out to a Cafe. I stayed here for a family weekend of sightseeing, choosing the hotel because of its location and its rating. We were really disappointed by the poor reception we received. We arrived a little early (midday) because of our flights. I thought initially I caught someone on an off-day but then received the same lack of courtesy, e.g. giving us a key but […] not bothering to explain where things were in the hotel (dining etc). On the sat evening the bar in the hotel was closed. We were informed that this was because there was a private function on elsewhere in the hotel. On a saturday night! The location near Grand Place in Brussels is excellent . Just around the corner is a line of great restuarants leading into Grand Place. The train station for easy access to the airport is a 5 minute walk - easily handled with luggage. The staff were excellent.

Beware of rooms on the side street it is very noisy late into the night (5:00 am).

The concierge were incredibly patient and helpful. The hotel was in the perfect location for the center of Brussels while still allowing for a quiet night's sleep. The lobby is opulent and the rooms are comfortable. I only wish that every hotel bathroom can be as spacious and accommodating as the ones at the Royal Windsor.

The hotel is in a great location for seeing the center of Brussels - literally right around the corner from lots of restaurants, the Grand Place, and the train station. We were able to visit two restaurants (one for breakfast - love those liege waffles with strawberries - and another great Italian place for dinner) we had discovered on previous trips. […] The hotel staff was helpful and friendly. My room was very comfortable, though a little loud because it overlooked the avenue where the street restaurants are. Only draw back was the 20 euro charge per day for wi-fi connections in the room. Expect a 5 Star Location, 4 Star Hotel, 3 Star Room, and you won't be disappointed! Older hotel with small, attractive lobby and wonderful service from very competent staff, The Royal Windsor is perfectly situated close to The Grand Place and within a short walk of the Sablon. This assures proximity to many fabulous restaurants and shops, as well as […] some of the seedier streets of the area. It is certainly safe, in any case, and close to the Central Station which connects to the airport. Unfortunately, the hotel is in urgent need of refurbishment which shows most in the smallish rooms and baths. It appears that these rooms haven't been spruced up in some time. The bathroom llghting is poor and there is just barely enough counter space for one. The toiletries are not up to standard for a 5 star hotel. The carpet looks seedy and the coverlet is stained. The comforters are not fluffy and the pillows aren't down. Be sure to ask for a quiet room as some are facing a street that never sleeps...and if you get one of these, you won't either! Brussels is pricey, and the substantial amount I paid was at the lower end of the rack rate so breakfast was not included, nevertheless, there are many choices for quick and reasonable breakfast within a block of the hotel. The concierge, David, is especially knowledgable about restaurants and most helpful. To sum up, if location is important to you, this is the place, but it doesn't measure up to a hotel like the Sheraton Brussels, which is in the same price range. Leer más

Very dated interior and furnishings and is located just across the casino. Feels more like three star, this isn't a five star property. Only good thing is the location which is two minute walk from the train station and near the Grand Place. Also, it's about 25 min metro ride to the Brussels Expo.

This is a clean, well situated hotel; very close to the Grand Place on a quiet street. It's a business hotel so lobby can sometimes be busy with large groups of conference attendees. Stayed for 6 nights in September. Although we had no complaints with the rooms, the hotel amenities or cleanliness, the service at the front desk, concierge and door man […] was unacceptable. When leaving the hotel at the end of our stay for example, we had to flag down our own taxi while the doorman stood beside us....he even rudely suggested that we drag our luggage to the train station. Have traveled around the world and stayed at many hotels, and have NEVER had this kind of rude, lazy service (which was consistent at the front desk and with the concierge). There just seemed to be a real lack of willingness to exert any kind of effort at all in the front lobby through all of these key functions (front desk; concierge; doorman). Followed these 6 nights with 4 nights at a sister property in Paris and had the complete opposite experience (exceptional service from all) so this appears to be a local issue with this property and not a training issue across the chain. Room size better than average European with nice full wall mirror. Bathroom clean except for mold on shower curtain and ceiling. It had sufficient room and sink space. Staff generally helpful and friendly and were only about 15 minutes late in fixing our broken safe. Bedspread was quite dirty but sheets ok. King bed was comfortable. Hotel seemed to […] have been quite classy about 20 years ago but needed updating. Lighting poor in room but worst thing was excessive internet usages charges. Desk clerk gave me Internet instruction sheet at check in but didn't mention that I had to pay €20 daily. Restaurants in area not clean or safe but one in hotel seemed popular and ok. Our reservation was for a room with Queen Bed and the staff was very reluctant to change our room into a Queen Bed after we were initially given a twin bed room. We saw other new visitors were also disappointed with the staff in the reception, for some reason, when we were checking out. There is a club near the hotel, so it can be noisy. Our room was spacious (by European standards) but dated by any standards - it definitely hadn't been updated in years. - I booked 2 rooms with this hotel, one of the rooms given to me has a faulty safe, nothing was done after we called the reception to complain, the next day we went to the reception and was told by the staff that there was no record of complaint! and yet they did not plan to fix the room safe, the hotel staff told us that we have got 2 rooms and the […] safe in other room is working, I do not expect this kind of attitude in a 5 star hotel. I have paid full price for both rooms so I should have a working safe in BOTH rooms! -you have to pay for coffee/tea facilities in your room, no bedroom slipper -soap holder in my bathroom was rusty -the cushion placed on top of our bed looks dirty, I can see dust on it -the only thing I like about this hotel is its location, other than that I was quite disappointed with this "5 star" hotel Leer más

This hotel is 1 block away from the Brussels central train station and 2 blocks from the main city square. Very convenient when coming and leaving by train. Although the hotel is very nice and the staff very accommodating they wanted extra for every little thing (wifi, etc). I would stay here again.

Hotel was in a convenient location, right next to Brussels central station. Hotel was good, although the room needed some maintenance. We were supposed to get a "Bussiness Premier Room" as part of an offer, but I don't think that was the case. It was just a standard double room. Neighbourhood was very noisy.

I walked passed this hotel a few times during my last stay in Brussels, and it looked rather nice, so when I saw they had a reduced rate (about a third normal rate) I decided to stay. They are 5 star rated hotel, and have most of the facilities one would expect, however the actual standard of the rooms inclusions falls far short. The regular tea/coffee […] that is near universal in hotels was an optional extra (at a cost), the toiletries were basic, and the shampoo/conditioner was terrible. No turn down service, no mint, no special touches. There was no minibar price list in the room, and I had to request one. The room cleaning seemed to have been rushed as there were other things not quite up to the standard I would expect. The service was perfunctory, far below the standard one expects. Breakfast was an extra, at about 3 times the rate of other hotels I've stayed in, in Brussels and was the usual disappointing melange of American/Continental/English, lacking in originality, thought or true local flavour. After this experience, I will probably look at a nice local 3 star or pension for my next visit. The facilities might be fewer, but the service and friendliness is likely to make up for it. Leer más

This hotel's location is excellent as it is so close to the must see sights in Brussels Central. Besides, the hotel room is clean and spacious. The reception is also very helpful. I would definitely recommend this hotel
