Excellent location, frendly staff, but: Room small and in need of modernization, view directly into brick wall 2-3 meters away, freestanding and noisy AC, no coffemachine in room, very expensive wi-fi, mobile signal very weak.. Overall impression: Hotel is living on its location and name, could have been an excellent place, but seems worn down and with […] extra charges for almost everything. The location is primo, the hotel is very much overdue for a refurbishment, to the point, it seems, that the brand name Sheraton is played down in the sales sites. Everyone checking out on Sunday had a complaint; there is no individual heat/cool controls, a stand alone heater is provided; fluorescent lighting in the bathroom, chipped bathroom tiles, […] anemic shower, shabby furniture and sparsely provided minibar. One guest complained about hearing vermin in the walls. Only two check in/out staff. We were erroneously charged for food and beverage, although upon questioning the bill was cancelled.Guests pay for the location, the quality is missing. I spent 5 nights at the Park Lane Hotel. It's a lovely hotel that is looking a bit tired in places but is in a great location and compared to other London hotels I found the Park Lane not too bad at all. My room was small ( as are all London hotel rooms!!) but the beds are very comfortable and the service is good. concierge service particularly wonderful. great location. This is a large business hotel. Just remember that everythingin London is expensive.

The room lacked color. There were blank walls. It was rather difficult to take a shower inside the tub-very narrow.

This hotel is in an excellent location with good transport links. The staff are helpful, but check in can be a bit slow if busy. Good breakfast if included in room rate, otherwise a bit pricey but there are plenty of other more reasonably priced places serving breakfast close by. The Palm Court is a nice place to meet for afternoon tea.

Location is the best facet of this hotel. But quite acceptable in terms of comfort and cleanliness. Overall a good buy. Between Hyde Park Corner and Green Park tube stations. Easy walk to Buckingham Palace, Picadilly Circus and the theatre district. Very close to Shepherd Market, which has charm and a number of eating venues. Wish they had coffee pots […] in the rooms. reasonably priced for London. Excellent location. Room could be updated but nice, not great.

This hotel was lovely in its day but that time has well past. The hotel smells very stale and moldy; the carpets are filthy and the "a/c system" is horribly antiquated. I would not stay here again.

It is an older hotel(rooms comfortable, clean but nothing outstanding.)The location was great, the bar/tea location was local so made it an easy place to meet guests. A bit pricey, was expecting a bit more wow factor from the pictures. I would try another place next time but can't say that any of us were disappointed.

This hotel is in a great and convenient location within walking distance to all the central London attractions and museums. Bus, taxi access is a breeze and the hotel room is satisfactory for the money! I'd go there again and recommend this place.

This is an impressive hotel in a great location for seeing London. It's located opposite beautiful Green Park which leads on to Buckingham Palace and, if you want to go further afield, it's just a few minutes walk to Green Park and Hyde Park Corner Underground stations. I've visited London many times over the years and this is the best location so far. […] The hotel room was lovely. Although it was very warm there's a mobile air conditioning unit which worked well. We had a terrific room, and the bath room was super. The service in the Palm Court was very good and we enjoyed our drinks and meals there. The room was alittle shabby but we really felt we had a great room forr the money. Stayed in room 601. Within 2 or 3 blocks behind the hotel there are alot of pubs and restaurants.

I loved the location of the hotel. Many parks nearby, and I felt safe walking in the evening in nearby neighborhoods. The concierge desk was outstanding. Their advice and assistance was right on every time. They even got me tickets to the show "Mama Mia" when it was sold out. All in all, a very good experience.

The Park Lane Hotel sits in the center of everything we wanted to do. It was walking distance to Buckingham Palace, Parliament, & Big Ben, 10 Downing St., Piccadilly Circus, the Theater District, and Saville Row. The hotel staff really made the difference to us. The concierge can do anything, and did for us. Stay for High Tea (2 - 5PM) one afternoon. […] The maitre d' is outstanding and the atmosphere is incredible. At the end of the night, go to the bar. The Bar Manager and the Bar Tender are the funniest people in London. Let them pick the wine. The Hotel is old, and shows it. Physically, it does not meet the Sheraton standard. The furniture was old or the type that comes in a box and requires some assembly. The Heavenly Bed was old and worn, and DEFINITELY hurt our backs. Visiting various friends, we merely aimed at having a space to our own in Central London. The Park Lane Hotel could offer us exactly what we were looking for. The room was quiet and we had our privacy and independence. There was enough room for luggage and the bathroom was large enough for two people (which is not always the case in London hotels). […] We could mix hot and cold water without any problems (which is not a standard feature in London, either) and the water pressure was as good as at home (again, this cannot be taken for granted). However, the room was even smaller than what we expected from reading other rewiews and looking at various photos taken by individual travellers. The bed was not as big as we expected, either. Seeing our friends private bedrooms, we discovered that this was about the standard size for a "large" bed in London. We appreciated that the linen were changed daily. The reception staff is efficient and there are always fresh apples to take out into the urban jungle. Given the huge discount for staying four nights in a row, special weekend rates and the strong Swiss Franc respectively the weak Pound, the asking price was just about right (considering the otherwise ridiculously high hotel prices in London). We would go back, but would ask for a larger bed (or a twin) and have a look at various rooms before unpacking. Leer más

Very nice hotel, good location and employees were very gracious and helpful!

The location is great, walking distance to many major attractions. The only problem was the shower, The tub was very deep, hard to climb in and out of and the water got all over the floor no matter what we tried. Room was quiet and comfortable.

While the lobby is a nice place to sit and have tea, and the location is great, don't let the 5star rating fool you into taking the "classic room" - these rooms are 3star if that. They are down in the staff quarters, tired, old, and sub standard. Even the blind in the bathroom was bent and broken - would only cost 40 quid to replace! - the towels […] had red stains on them. I went to complain, and the attitude was that this was a classic room and too bad. Oh, and we asked for early check in, which they agreed to no problem, but then wouldn't give it to us when we arrived (after flying all night), and said they don't guarantee this option and someone should have told us this - like that was our fault! At the end of Picadilly Street, walking distance to the palace, Picadilly center, National museum etc. Metros - Green Street the closest- to anywhere you would like to go to. Rooms very clean, nice size rooms also & very helpful concierge. Highly recommended for the price also!

The hotel's location is ideal with easy access to the London tube system only a 5 minute walk to Green Park tube station , and only a 15 minute stroll down Picadilly to Regent Street . The hotel is a top class hotel in every way other than the rooms as they are quite small and cluttered and definately not of 5 star standard which was a bit dissapointing […] . The staff were excellant and very helpful in all ways . The prices at the bar were a bit over the top ie; £8.50 for single Bailey's cream , so for two measures you could buy a 1.5ltr bottle of Bailey's at a supermarket. Leer más

Having paid for a double room I found myself the first night in a small old room with a narrow bathroom and some very noisy neighbours behind thin walls. The staff were very helpful in moving me to a better king-size bedroom before my partner joined me the next day, but incredibly the window looking out on to Picadilly would not close properly! I could […] see clear daylight between the window and the edge of the windowframe, and there was a constant cold draft. Due to the noise we had to buy ear plugs in order to sleep! Hotel is referenced as a 5 star but I would classify it as a 4 at best. I don’t mean this in a bad way it’s just not on par with other five star hotels I have stayed at. It is good enough though, that I would stay here again and would recommend it to others. Certainly based on the great price I received. Fanatstic Hotel, with great staff and an all round great stay in a fantastic location

hensiktsmessig hotel hvis du vil bo billig, bra og sentralt i London. Store rom og gode senger, men veldig varmt på rommet. Noe bråk fra vifte når vi åpnet vinduet. Ligger bra til med utsikt til Green Park. I området bak er det nok av restaurant og pub muligheter. Vil nok bo der igjen hvis pristilbudet er like bra!

Gammalt, men mycket fint! Vårt rum var hur bra som helst och egentligen inget att klaga över. Badrummet var lite slitet, annars mycket bra. Bra för att vara london-standard.

Hotellet, som anges vara ett 5-stjärnigt hotell, motsvarar 3 stjärnor pga att det är gammalt och slitet, rummen inte renoverade eller moderniserade på länge. Det är inget fel på hotellet men det motsvarar inte förväntningarna på något sätt. LoA

The Park Lane still has a charming atmosphere and is well located. To keep up with its category a renovation is necessary. Furniture is faded, compromising comfort in the spacious executive room. Staff is competent and dedicated. Rates at hotels.com were overpriced.

Zimmer und Infrastrukturen entsprechen keinesfalls einem 5 Sterne, eher einem 3 Sterne Standard. Darum auch bei günstigeren Preisen zu teuer. Morgenbuffet sehr reichhaltig und Top

五星の割りにあんなに壁が薄くて量隣の部屋はもちろん、廊下からの音や声が聞こえてきて殆ど眠れませんでした。ただでさえ、旅行中は疲れが溜まりやすいのに、あんな思いをするなんて、残念な旅行になりました。 フロントに隣の客の声が聞こえてきて眠れないので、何とかして欲しい・・・、と電話をかけようとも思いましたが、その電話の内容も隣に聞こえてしまうと思うと苦情の電話もできませんでした。 近所には、一流ホテルがあるだけに、泊まってみて改めて、このホテルのレベルの低さを痛感しました。

Ett hotell med mycket bra läge till allt i London - 2 minuters promenad till tunnelbanan, 5 minuter till Bond Street med dess shopping m.m. Rummet var stort, bekvämt och välstädat. Das Hotel ist sehr schön und zentral gelegen. Mit Glück wohnt man sogar in einem Zimmer mit Blick auf den Green Park. Diejenigen, die ein Zimmer hinten heraus haben, müssen sich jedoch Tag und Nacht mit dem lauten und monotonen Brummen der Lüftungsanlage rumquälen!!! Sowohl Lobby als auch Restaurants und Empfang sind sehr schön und sauber, die Zimmer […] und insbesondere die Bäder könnten jedoch eine Renovierung vertragen, da sie alt und abgewohnt sind. Vi havde et dejligt ophold i London, med et imponerende hotel midt i centrum, dog falder standarten lidt når man kommer op på værelserne, de lever ikke op til resten af hotellet, desuden var morgenmad ikke med i prisen og det tog man virkelig overpris for. Ikke prisen vær..

You could not ask for a hotel placed better than this. That is the good news. The bad news is that this hotel is not even close to being a 5 star hotel. It is old, and there is dirty in the rooms, the elevators etc. 3-3½ stars would be the correct number.

Gute Lage, extrem laut zum Innenhof, wo die Klimaanlage läuft - Zimmer zu warm, Fenster konnte wegen des Lärms nicht geöffnet werden. Bad renovierungsbedürftig

Nice classic London City hotel with a lovely bar and few smaller hideouts such as the espresso bar on the Piccadilly side and the tea lounge. Beds are fabulous but the rooms could need upgrading, especially irritating that Internet still is not freely available but costs 6pounds for an hour or 18 pounds for a day - a little 1999 if you ask me..
