Hilton San Francisco Union Square

Habitación pequeña, 2 queen beds. Sin desayuno. Lo demás muy bien.

El problema mayor fue el desayuno,el lugar donde se sirve es muy pequeño,por lo que hay que hacer una cola muy larga y esperar un largo rato para conseguir una mesa. Y como había tanta gente no habían cosas básicas como pan,hubo que esperar un largo rato para que lo trajeran,no a doc para un hotel se supone de 4 estrellas.

Por quejarme diria que no hablan en español, acceso internet te cobran, y en el starbucks los desayunos son bastante mas caros qu en cualquir otro de los alrededores que los hay muy cerca. Sobre los homeless sin problema y tampoco hay tantos como la gente dice.

Excelente ubicaciòn. Las habitaciones muy limpias y el hotel en general muy bien. Lo recomiendo para los turistas que van a conocer a San Francisco ya que està ubicado en el centro y a unas cuadras de Union Square. Excelente servicio.

Recomiendo este hotel por su excelente ubicación cerca a los sitios turísticos como el Parque Unión Square, el civic center, Chinatown, Nob Hill, Little Italy, puerto pesquero. Al frente del hotel están las diferentes empresas de alquiler de autos, además autoservicios pequeños. La atención de su perssonal excelente, multibilingue y la orintación al […] turista para acceder a los sitios de interés muy buena, nos regalaron un excelente mapa de San Francisco y una cartilla ( la tienen en diferentes idiomas ) con la información detallada de los sitios turísticos ( excelente guía ), muy buen aseo de la habitación diario y facilidad para acceder a taxis en la puerta del hotel, lo cual no ocurre en otros. Muy costoso.

Después de leer los comentarios de alguna agencia de viajes online pensé que sería un error escoge este hotel. No fue así. Las instalaciones del hotel son buenas y la atención que recibimos desde el ingreso hasta el egreso, fue excelente. Nuestro cuarto estaba en el piso 40 y desde ahí veíamos el Golden Gate cuando la niebla nos lo permitía. La cercanía […] con las principales atracciones de San Francisco son sobresalientes. El único punto negativo es que en la calle de Taylor, adyacente al hotel, por la noche no es recomendable caminar ya que hay muchos homeless. La casa de la sinfónica y de la ópera de San Francisco está a solo 7 cuadras del hotel pero al regreso del show recomendaría tomar un taxi y no caminar esa distancia. Fuera de ese detalle considero que el valor precio/beneficio es muy favorable y recomiendo al Hilton San Francisco Union Square ampliamente. Leer más

El Hotel esta muy bien ubicado en el centro de San Francisco. Posee una escelente atención al cliente y dispone de todos los sevicios necesarios para ir de negocios ó de turismo,

Para ser un Hilton deja que desear. Habitaciones pequeñas aunque buena situación. No hablan español en la recepción.

Bastante decepcionante. Habitacion pequena y vieja, vistas pesimas. Desde luego no parece un Hilton y no es comparable al Hilton de Loas Angeles Unversal City, que es maravilloso

El hotel está bien, muy grande (impersonal), con piscina, cafetera, etc. Pero es el límite entre la zona comercial y la no recomendable. Mucho homeless en los alrededores, sólo puedes caminar por la calle principal, si vuelves la esquina es muy desagradable.

Their website says 'in-room internet' but it isn't free, its actually pretty steep. The good news is the lobby has free wifi though. Also they are clear that the parking is extra and post the value, but they dont tell you about the added tax on the parking that is pretty hefty as well... beware of the extras. We recently stayed one night at the Hilton. We had very good front-desk service and our room was nice and clean even though it looked like it had not been updated in quite a few years (33rd floor). The view from the tower king city view room was amazing! It was so awesome having a balcony in San Francisco!! I can't wait to go back!

Because of Christmas, hotel decoration is beautiful and cozy but room is very small and we hardly can turn around with two big bagges. Another thing have to mention that the rate from Hotel.com is at least 1/3 of the hotel front desk price. The parking was very expensive, but other than that it was a great hotel with an excellent location.

What a great place! We had two rooms. They were on separate floors. The staff moved us next to each other on the same floor. They upgraded one room at no extra charge. My only complaint is the cost for parking. They get you there. That's big city life for ya! Looking forward to coming back.

My husband & I took our 4 children ages 12-21 for Xmas break. We had a wonderful time. Hotel was conveniently located near lots of great restaurants & shopping. I highly recommend the Urban Tavern next door to hotel. My husband & I stopped for cocktail & was speaking w/ our waiter from couple nights prior. We mentioned we didn't have xmas dinner reservations […] & they were booked. Our waiter spoke to mgr & mentioned we were guests @ Hilton. They squeezed our family of 6 in. Only bummer was their pool was under refurbishing & they didn't have continental breakfast. We did have vouchers for Starbucks which is located in hotel. We were allowed to use next door hotel pool, which was indoor. Sauna & steam room were a plus. We would stay here again. Leer más

I stayed here while visiting a friend for her birthday, and i mist admit that because i got the hotel for such a low price relative to other hotels in the neighborhood, i was skeptical of my stay. But as soon as i stepped into the lobby i felt relieved. It was huge and very nice with chandeliers hanging everywhere. I had requested a high floor room […] with a view and that what i got, the view was amazing. The room itself was nothing fancy but it was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. Hotel was un a great location, we walked everywhere. The only negative thing i have to say was that the price of parking was a bit rediculous. But i suppose it is Union Sqaure. We always stay at the Hilton when we come to SF. It has a great location, no hassle to get around. Our room was ready when we arrived at 11:00. Thats great service that we didn't expect. Everything we needed was available for us. Thanks Hilton!

Excellent location. Beds extremely comfortable, and I have back issues. Luxurious bed linens and toiletries. Fabulous city views. Couldn't have had a better experience. Parking pricey though.

Hotel room was just OK. Breakfast was superb -- had everything you could think of from scrambled eggs, fruit and cinnamon rolls to congee, trout and cheeses. It was not your average breakfast buffet. I expected a lot more of the room. We had to change rooms, matress was really soft. We could also hear our "neighbours" talking and a baby crying down […] the hall. Our new room was a bit of an upgrade, much cleaner, better matress. We had an exterior facing room, so there was a lot more car/traffic noise -- but better than babies crying. Leer más

The hotel is close to everything but if you are traveling with your family you may want to consider staying at The Westin instead. The rooms (at least the one we got) are extremely small... No space to put your luggage or move around.

My wife and I both enjoyed all aspects of our 4-night stay at the Union Square Hilton over Christmas. Every member of the staff we interacted with - desk, bellhops, door man, concierge, dining staff, room attendant - was friendly and efficient. Several of them provided helpful advice about bus routes and things to do. It was a real benefit to us that […] the desk would change large bills for bus fare because SF Muni accepts only exact change. The concierge recommended and arranged a town car to the airport for our departure and that proved to be excellent advice. The hotel has a grand lobby like you don't see so often nowadays and we enjoyed spending some time there watching people pass through. Elevators are fast, which we appreciated after some experiences with long waits at other places we've stayed. The room was spacious and had everything we needed. We were fortunate enough to have a fine view westward from the 28th floor, which made it even better. The brunch had more selections than we expected and was very satisfying, especially the orange juice! The location is a few blocks from Union Square but had the advantage that it is across the street from the car rental agencies so it was a very easy matter to pick up and drop off a car. Much more convenient and lower cost than renting at the airport. Our only complaint, which was a nuisance more than anything, is that the tub and toilet drained very slowly. They would do well to look into the condition of the plumbing. Overall, the Hilton gives every feeling of being first class hotel. We enjoyed it as much as any stay we can remember. Leer más

We took our very young granddaughters to San Francisco for a couple of days and wanted to be near Union Square. We had stayed at this hotel before and knew it was just what we wanted. Staff was very nice, room was very clean, tight, but clean. We had a wonderful city view from the twenty-third floor. Starbucks located in the lobby. Foley's Irish House […] within a block, Union Square a block and a half. Great location. Parking across the street from the hotel and near the theaters. Leer más

Excellent stay in a great location. Ease at check-in and parking. Breakfast brunch that was included was a surprise and very good! Will definately stay again!

They had a very accomodating staff. We had two rooms that were originaly on separate floors. They upgraded one room at not extra charge so we were next to each other. The entire hotel was nicely decorated for the holidays. It is close to Union Square, great restraunts and pubs. Cable car accessis two streets away on Powell. My only issue was the cost […] for parking. They get you there. My suggestion is to check in and park in a city lot or across the street. You don't need a car in San Francisco. The hotel is a block away from the beautiful and famous Union Square, within walking distance to the Powell Bart station and the trolley station! I was skeptical about the hotel due to other reviews but I am so glad we stayed here. My boyfriend and I loved the fact that it was within walking distance to so many locations. The gym was awesome I was able […] to run 10 miles on the treadmills. The only suggestion I have is for cheaper guest parking- it was $47.00/nite plus 14% occupancy fee. And the breakfast buffet although plentiful in options were cold. They need burners for their food containers to keep warm while people keep opening the lid letting the hot air out. Other than that I loved it and will be back soon. We stayed on Tower 1, 12th floor. So street noise was limited since we were higher up. Leer más

The hotel was nice and had many amenities. I liked the complimentary access to the gym and cleanliness. The location is also close to Union Square which is nice. Hotel security was not very friendly and tended to be slightly tense at times. The hotel is adjacent to Taylor Street which has many questionable looking people walking up and down the street […] at all hours of the night. Reports of people getting assaulted on Taylor Street also kept us from walking down this street. We went to the Golden Gate Theater and had to take a taxi back home because of the neighborhood. If you know which places to avoid, this is a good hotel. Parking is $32/night so plan in advance. Overall, this hotel is a 4 star, I just wish more could be done to shuttle people to Union Square and the theaters. Leer más

Expected more from the Hilton. Weird decor. Broken heater, which was fixed. Cleaning supplies left out. Not bad, but not great.
