Hemos estado alojados en este hotel hace apenas unos días. Nuestra primera vez en Nueva York y la verdad es que sin ninguna pega. El Hotel perfectamente ubicado, limpio, buen trato del personal y la habitación con todas las comodidades. La cama muy cómoda, algo de agradecer cuanto estás 12 horas al día caminando. Maquína de café y té a tu disposición todos los días en la habitación. A 2 minutos de Times Square y a 50 metros del edificio de oficinas del periódico The New York Times. Para repetir sin duda!

Hemos tenido una estancia completamente satisfactoria. El primer dia nos dieron una habitacion de uso individual, por lo que la mañana siguiente pedimos un cambio, y nos ofrecieron un upgrade gratis a una king size. Siendo una habitación mucho mejor que la otra, pudimos comprobar que la calidad de la pequeña es igual que la superior. Las habitaciones de este hotel son pequeñas en general, pero el estado de las mismas es muy bueno. Los colchones son geniales. El mobiliario es justo. Tiene plancha y tabla de planchar, y caja fuerte. Las instalaciones comunes son muy buenas, incluso ipads disponibles para el cliente, wifi gratis en el lobby, bascula para pesar las maletas antes de ir al aeropuerto, mesa de billar. Ofrecen servicio de transfer al aeropuerto privado, por poco mas que un taxi. Si vuelvo a NY no dudaria en volver a este hotel. Y el personal excelente, correctisimo y amable, dispuesto a ayudar dentro de sus posibilidades. No tengo ninguna queja en absoluto, a pesar de que he visto muchos comentarios negativos por internet en general para todos los hoteles. Esta claro que la gente tiende mas a criticar cuando las cosas van mal que cuando van bien. Los ascensores son muy rapidos y nunca tuvimos que hacer cola, aun estando en la ultima planta alojados. La ubicación magnifica, en pleno times square. Lo recomiendo sin duda alguna.

Estuve 10 días en total, en habitación individual. Muy cómodo, muy limpio. Siempre disponibilidad de los baños compartidos, continuamente limpiados. Lo recomiendo 100%, por ubicación y hotel en sí. Habitación algo pequeña pero al estilo de los tamaños de Manhattan.

"Nice Visit to Salisbury"
I have stayed at the Salisbury many times and have always enjoyed my stay. The location is unbeatable...very convenient. The rooms are very large and very comfortable. I stayed in a suite and there were a huge flat-screen televisions in both rooms. The staff is friendly and helpful. I had one complaint on my last trip...they only have 2 elevators and […] one of them didn't work during my entire 5 day stay. The hotel has many floors and, with only one elevator to service them all, it was a nightmare. I waited an extremely long time and, in some cases actually walked up or down 7 flights of stairs rather than continue waiting. Still, I strongly recommend the hotel. Leer más

This hotel has a heritage listing. Nice foyer and the staff were friendly and helpful whenever we had a question. Free continental breakfast helped take the edge off the hunger pains in the morning, nothing fancy but fresh. The room we had was a suite and it met our expectations, as had a kitchen with full size appliances. The sirens were loud and all the engines seemed to come past the hotel and turn down the street next to the hotel. We stayed in winter and the windows were closed as the rooms were centrally heated, in summer it may be even noisier as there doesn't seem to be air conditioning in the rooms, a fan is supplied in the wardrobe! "Not perfect, but a pretty good deal"
This hotel needs a lot of work, but mostly in the public areas. The room was nice, in pretty good shape, and for $10 per day more than my freind paid for a similar hotel, the room was much larger, and yes, more comfortable than the room that was $10 cheaper. Elevators are a problem. Not nearly enough to shuttle the number the hotel holds, and it seems […] to be pretty full, from the lengthy waits to use the elevator. Plan extra time when leaving your room, for a delay. Hotel staff was a hard working group, who I witnessed with examples of helping people coming in, beyond the call of normal desk clerks. They seem to care about their customers experience, at least as it pertains to their behavior, and it helps to make up for the construction zone, or lack of it, type of atmosphere in the lobby. I wasn't there long enough to make a judgement about the management's attitude, but it speaks well of them, that their employees are professionals, giving their best efforts to the hotel's guests. "Salisbury Hotel in New York close to Broadway"
Having a bedroom plus a living room in the suite made our stay in New York very enjoyable. I plan to stay at this hotel the next time I'm in New York. The hotel is not new, but was very comfortable and convenient.
"Avoid the holiday season at The Salisbury"
We overpaid for a room that usually goes for half the amount out of the busy holiday season. The hotel was loaded with large tour groups that clogged the one working elevator. Otherwise, the hotel was fine and is in a great location.

For the price, considering New York is as expensive a city can get, this hotel is great. The location is excellent. The hotel itself is rather basic, but the room was clean, and all staff were fine. I would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a room just for sleeping, and take advantage of the location for seeing the city.

HOTEL IS REASONABLY PRICED AND WITHIN EASY WALKING DISTANCE OF THEATRES AND RESTAURANTS
My husband and I spent two days celebrating our 41st Wedding Anniversay and stayed at the Salisbury Hotel. The location is fabulous. The only problem was the construction across the street that became VERY loud at times.

Great price and great location. We stayed 2 nights and had a mini-suite. It was perfect since our visit was partial business and partial pleasure. I'd go back in a second.

Staff is nice, took us to our room with our bags, Elevator was broken, so it took forever to use the one functioning elevator which covered (8 floors). Upon checkout, it took us forever to check our bags in while we shopped around before our departure. They only had 2 bell boys dealing with luggage and many people were complaining. This hotel was a nice place to stay and not as exorbitantly priced as most others were, given I went with a friend soon after the New Year (1/3-1/5/12). The frontdesk were very polite and knowledgeable when I called to ask where certain restaurants/exhibits were located and which subways to take. First trip to NY so wasn't sure where to stay. Friends all have different suggestions and opinions of the best places but found this hotel and based on the location and the price (and all the positive reviews), went ahead and booked. "Fantastic Room"
Our room was fantastic for a dad traveling with three teenage daughters. Only complaint was that it was very warm in the room with no way to control the heat. Still, a great experience and I would stay there again if I travel to NYC again

I've stayed here several times and the hotel is consistently very good. Rooms are large and the location can't be beat. I definitely recommend this hotel but I would ask for a room NOT facing 57th Street. There is currently (1/12) some construction going on across the street and they seem to start very early in the morning. If your room faces 57th Street […] it can be a bit noisy. "At last, a reasonably-priced NYC hotel"
We got to the front desk around 7pm and we were lucky enough to get an upgrade to a 3-room suite. It was clean and really large. Proximity to subway was a benefit.

The hotel was easy to find and parking was close and very affordable. The room was quite spacious and clean. We had a refrigerator and 2 walk-in closets. The bathroom was in need of updating but it was clean and I could look past that. The noise from the street was the biggest issue. It was a good room for the price. Location is pretty convenient and overall the older hotel is comfortable and clean.
Great Location in the city. 57th is a very busy street with a lot of construction going on, ask for an inside room to help keep the noise down.

Very convenient location, walking distance of Central Park, Dakota bldg, Time Square, Wax Museum, etc. Good size room and confortable beds. I had to wait for warmer shower around 8pm. However, I will come back!

"Good location, low quality services"
The only good point about Salisbury hotel is its location. pretty close to Times Square and subway and central park..but the room is very small ..the beds are not really comfortable..my room was on 14th floor and there were so much noise from street. Internet is not free even in the small lobby area! staff were friendly and nice!

In the midst of a New York bed bug epidemic, the Salisbury Hotel had none! Great location, low cost, very spacious rooms, with kitcheonette. Friendly staff booked us a stretch limo for the same price as a cab. Only negative was overheated rooms, which was solvable by opening windows (in January).

The Salisbury has a great location. Close to all public transportation and walking distance to the Theater District. Central Park is two blocks away. There is no place in the City you can't easily reach from the hotel. Its on the old side but very roomy. Skip the breakfast.

Very nice hotel for a budget minded business trip of short duration. For a family vacation I would recommend a more family friendly hotel.
