Hollywood Vermont/Sunset Travelodge

Un hotel donde la calidad/precio están ligadas. Además, el precio no incluye desayuno, pero se da un pequeño piscolabis, por contesía del hotel, durante las primeras horas de la mañana.

Estuvimos muy bien atendidos, es muy NICE, esta bien equipado y por el precio que pagamos estuvo todo muy bien, lo recomendaremos a nuestros amigos. Estabamos cerca de todo: del paseo de la fama, el cementario donde esta Michael Jacson, el letrero de Hollywood, el metro en la esquina. Hotel bien ubicado, cercano a lo importante en Hollywood. Tiene estaciones de metro a pocos pasos. Un barrio con influencia mexicana pero tranquilo. Ofrece desayuno suficiente para comenzar bien el dia. Este hotel esta en una ubicación excelente, cerca de todos los lugares más importantes para conocer y sobre todo de un metro en el cual te puedes movilizar perfectamente. Por otro lado la gente que trabaja en el lugar es muy amable siempre dispuestos a ayudarte. Dan un buen desayuno por lo que te puedes ahorrar unos dolares en comida. viajamos en julio, pareja con niña de 5 años. Todo excelente, la habitacion equipada, buena ubicacion, seguro, desayuno incluido, excelente atencion en el lobyy (especialmente Bill), ofrecen excursiones a todos lados. Lo recomendamos, estamos muy satisfechos

Cerca del metro de los Angeles. Comodo y buen ratio precio/calidad. Las empresas que prestan servicios de visita turistica a la ciudad buscan a las personas directamente en el hotel. Zona de restaurantes y tiendas en los alrededores.

EL hotel esta situado en una zona no muy lejos del centro (45 min caminado del Walk of Fame) y con gente de noche por las calles asi como sitios donde comer. Es un hotel muy tipicamente americano, no es lujoso pero pasar las noches está muy bien. Además te dan de manera gratuita un desayuno de tostadas, cereales, bollos, frutas, cafe, zumos... solo […] tienen 4 meses pero por lo menos en esta epoca se podia sentar a desayunar tranquilamente.No me importaria repetir. Hotel aceptable pero lejos de la zona de atracción turistica, hay que coger el coche para ir a cualquier sitio,. El hotel es aceptable, limpio y el personal muy amable. Está bien si no te importa desplazarte con el coche

Very near to metro station (Managable to hull your luggages from metro to hotel) clean hotel, friendly staff As compared to the hotels in this cost range, i would say its location is safe and convinent, although there are a few homelss people, but given in LA, it's nothing compare to other areas

I stayed there for 4 days and was very happy. The Location is perfect. The Walk of Fame and Hollywood Sign are just some min away. The service at the reception was perfect. When i'm going to LA again, i would definitely stay here!

Old motel style property that meets a "no frills" requirement. I stayed here twice in Jan/2012 and found the rooms clean and the beds surprisingly good. I know there have been issues with bed bigs but I experienced none of that. The property can be noisey as it is across the street from 2 hospitals so ambulances and helicopters can wake you at any hour--although […] this wasn't a constant issue. Parking is free but fills quickly in the on-site lot but there is an additional overflow lot I used that is next door---a good backup for customers. A mediocre continental breakfast is included but is limited to 2 cereals, low quality white and wheat bread, fruits, bagels, and coffee. If you don't mind scaled down accomodation, this is a really reasonably priced hotel nicely centrally located. There aren't any extras. Expect cereal and toast for breakfast (bare basics, but more than some hotes offer) and you do get free parking and wi fi. For its price, Travelodge wasn't too bad. But talking with my travel-mate, we would probably recommend some other hotel if they were paying along the same price. There is limited parking available, and the water wouldn't drain in our shower in the beginning. We weren't in for most of the day, so we didn't have the chance to really experience the customer […] service portion of the stay. Free, but slow, WiFi is available, and they serve breakfast (usually a couple fruits, some prepackaged pastries) starting at 6:30AM. We chose this hotel because of its convenient location to Hollywood and it offers free parking (rare for many hotels in L.A) . The hotel delivered. The room had a fridge, microwave, and an easy-to-use safe. The beds were comfortable. We did not use the outdoor pool because it is January. This is not the Ritz, but it was clean and adequate. We were going to The Vista theatre for an event and this hotel is perfect. There are also lots of great places to eat in the surrounding areas, and lots of stores as well. Old school 2 floor motel that achieves the basics. Nothing extra, but it is a very good value if you want something close to Sunset and Hollywood Blvd's. Rooms had surprisingly good beds and four pillows per bed--nice if you like more than one pillow to moosh around when you sleep. A "continental" breakfast is available...two cereals, bananas, coffee, […] and store packaged rolls/muffins. Cheap white and wheat bread is available for toast. First trip to Los Angeles for my family and I. Location of hotel is close to Vermont Sunset Metro and bus-stop - travelling is convenient and easy to Hollywood Boulevard, North Hollywood, Century City, Union Station. Room is nice and comfortable. Very pleased with the complimentary breakfast. NIce and friendly staff. Would love to return again.

Initially I was a little worried about staying at a Travelodge but I'm glad we did. Every staff member I interacted with was very kind and helpful as well. The room was very clean. I never found a single hair anywhere in the room, and I looked because that is one thing that will completely gross me out. The overall location was good in terms of public […] transportation. After just one day of driving in L.A. I was thrilled that the subway station was a short walk away. The continental breakfast was terrible though and is my only complaint. It was plain instant oatmeal packs, underripe bananas, prepackaged cheese danish, and two types of cereal, and the usual tea, coffee, and juice. Good location, only 4 miles from Universal and that is what we needed. Room is clean and check in/out was easy. Con - Small rooms. Very small. Not a lot of room to move. Water was too hot and In had hard time in the shower.

Had an interview at one of the local hospitals. This place is very close to Kaiser, Children's Hospital, etc. All the basics were included. The internet was slow. There were strange noises outside during the middle of the night that disrupted my sleep several times. I liked how there were a few free TV On Demand programs. The hotel was very basic. The location was ok only two underground stops away from downtown Hollywood and the tube station was a two minute walk away. The neighbourhood was a bit unnerving with all sorts of characters around but LA is full of characters!

I liked almost everything, especially the free breakfast and parking. It was also a very good location for the purpose of my vacation--visiting family and friends. The only thing I did not like is the fact that one day, after coming back from running errands, I turned on the television and found it to be on a Hispanic channel. Cheaper than the rest and nice location if you have a car. Poor breakfast though, served near the front desk in a place too tight for the number the guests they host.

Clean, comfortable rooms. Friendly and helpful staff. Close to all the attractions I was interested in and local ameneties good. If flying into LAX, think twice about a taxi as it was very expensive to get to the hotel. I can honestly say I'd stay there agin.

Great Location for price, only stayed one night, but would go back, rooms were a nice size & clean, free buffet breakfast was an adequate start to the day saving much needed time for sightseeing

This is actually a motel in a very good location. Everything is OK, including the staff, the breakfast and the Wi-Fi. The only problem is the tiny walls, since you hear every noise from outside the room. Definitely I will book there again!

Nice hotel for the price, good location very close to the subway to Hollywood boulevard. Rooms were cleaned and replenished daily. Check in was fast and easy with friendly staff. Room was very clean and smelled good. Bed was very comfortable and the a/c worked perfectly. Provided complimentary coffee. The only downside is that it was hard to find parking because it's too small.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Hollywood/Vermont Travelodge. The staff was great, and the breakfast was adequate. The hotel was conveniently located to the Hollywood Walk of Fame, the Chinese Theater and the Grove. There were also many restaurants within walking distance. Free Wi-Fi was also a nice perk.

At the price that I pay, it value for money but it away from town and no shopping area around. But nearby to Universal Studio.

We arrived only to be told after check-in that the pool wasn't actually open for our stay, a bit of advance notice would have been nice as it was one of the reasons we'd booked to stay there. Spent 2 nights at the Hollywood Vermont Travelodge during a 16day trip to the USA. Location was really good, easy to find and easy to get out and about to other places in LA. The room was excellent, large comfy bed, clean hot/powerful shower, a/c, free WiFi and cable TV. I will be staying at this hotel again. Location is good, price was right, beds were cozy, breakfast bar, though limited, was kept up nice and fresh.
