Yo iba asustado al Days Inn despues de leer algunos comentarios de la gente por internet, pero me lleve una grata sorpresa al verlo. No es un hotel de 5 estrellas pero las habitaciones son grandes, esta limpio tiene su propio cuarto de baño cada habitacion que ademas esta bastante limpio y el serviciio es muy amable y bueno, los desayunos tambien estan muy bien, incluso tienes justo al lado un asador/pizzeria donde poder comer bastante economico, hay wiffi y se coge bien desde cualquier parte del hotel y suficiente conexion como para llamar por skype sin problemas. Para coger el metro puedes ir en bus o andando (yo fui todos los dias andando eran solo 10 min) y en 15 min en metro ya estas en el centro de Washington, la zona es zona resdencial nada peligrosa, ves la gente correr por la calle aun denoche y nunca senti miedo. Para ir a este hotel queda bastante cerca el aeropuerto Reagan National por lo que es preferible organizar tu llegada a este aeropuerto en 30 min estas alli. Asi que desde aqui animo a todo el que este dudando a que no tema que esta bastante bien, yo personalmente si vuelvo a washington repetire ya que en condiciones calidad precio es excelente

El hotel estaba bastante límpio y la recepción y habitación eran agradables y límpias. La habitación y el baño eran bonitos y muy nuevos.

"Lanham Days Inn"
We found this to be an excellent place to stay. We were in town to see the Patriots-Redskins game. The location was good and close to the Metro, so we took the train and avoided all the traffic. We had a excellent trip. Would book with them again.

Close to FedEx. Close to Amtrack rails, too. Noise from streets and tracks was only draw back. Breakfast was great value and delicious.

I have stayed at Days Inn Lanham several times on business and have always been satisfied. Very helpful staff; modern, clean rooms with all the amenities (flat screen TV, microwave, refrigerator, iron coffee, free wifi, excellent parking); and location five minutes from direct subway to inner DC make this a superb, low-cost choice. I will return!

This hotel is somewhat central in Maryland, it's close to the I-95 and conveniently accessible to the busier spots in the neighbouring districts. I could not find a hotel in Bowie so I chose this hotel not because it was within reasonable driving distance but moreso because the rates we more reasonable. The hotel is clean and tidy and the room has all […] the amenities to make a short trip enjoyable whether it's business or pleasure. In my standard room the refrigerator, microwave and ironboard/electric iron added to my comfort but if breadfast was included my trip would have been more enjoyable since I wouldn't have had to venture out of the premises early in the morning to get something to eat.. "Served its purpose"
Everyone was very friendly and the room was clean. It is perfect for just sleeping there, which is what we wanted. Would recommend to others.

The stay was quite comfortable despite the the constant sound of the railroad trains rolling by at the back of the hotel. The cleaning staff was friendly and came by early in the morning. The room was clean and neat. I occasionaly heard the occupants in the next room when they moved or drop heavy objects on the floor. "Hidden Jewel"
This hotel is a fantastic bargain for the price. Clean, comfortable, modern facilities, new restaurant with good food, five minute drive from Washington Metro, and very hospitable and helpful staff. I have stayed at hotels throughout the DC area over the years, but this one beats them all in terms of value for money.

I liked that there are eating places around the hotel and within walking distance. The glass surrounding registration counter does not give a good impression. The restaurant in the hotel does not have good service or menu. There is a bar but it is not open. But it is a clean and good hotel at good price.

I didnt expect much and the enclosure around the front desk made me do an Uh-Oh! but everything was great! If I could find anything to complain about anything it would be that the bed was almost too soft. Service was great. Clean room, very relaxing and quiet.

The front desk staff was more than helpful for every single question or request we had. Our room was clean and very comfortable with a microwave and refrigerator, included. The restaurant was closed but there is fast food located across the parking lot or if you go a little down the road there are coffee houses and bakeries and all kinds of restaurants. This was a nice hotel. It had a microwave,refrigerator and a flat screen TV. Housekeeping did a wonderful job cleaning our room. The restaurant was closed, but Hotels.com promised us FREE Breakfest... There was NO SWIMMING POOL as described to us by Hotels.com... Room Service NEVER CLEANED OUR ROOM!!!

"VERY NICE AT THE RIGHT PRICE"
Room was very nice, bathroom clean, updated with tile and new sink and fixtures...very "Resort-like" Room had micro wave /refrig, coffemaker.... ice machine convienent to room. Excellent price FOR OVERNIGHT STAY!

Terrible and we should have known by the bulletproof glass! Inconsiderate manager Don barely acknowledged us on arrival, room REEKED of smoke, window had no screen or safety latch of any kind (thank goodness there were no kids with us - 3 story drop!). When I left to complain, the hallway REEKED of pot smoke, got ogled by another guest in the elevator […] and manager Don again said there were no rooms available, we would still be charged if we left (which we did 5 minutes later after documenting the condition of the room) and since no one else complained, there was nothing he could do. Clean, convenient, several nearby restaurants in walking distance as well as one in the hotel
The hotel was very clean, the room where VERY clean and the most comfortable bed that I have slept in during a hotel stay. The only complaint I have is that the employee that checked us in was not very welcoming, it was around 4:30 when we checked in so it may have been the end of her shift. Nothing really special about this location. It's fairly close to downtown Washington and was affordable. Definitely nice that the elevators and all entrances were only accessible by room key.

I live in Orlando, FL. i went to DC for few days and i stayed at Days Inn in Lanham,MD room 200. the place was pretty clean, front desk people were helpful, not like they no the area but i would recommend this to anybody and i will stayed there if i ever go back to DC. "Day Inn at Lanham, MD - adequate for a night stay"
For the price we paid, this is a reasonable hotel to stay in the DC area. Room was neat, parking is free but no breakfast and no lobby to speak of. Close to 495 beltway. There are railway tracks not too far from the back of the hotel with some noise of passing trains, but it was not too loud to disrupt sleep. In short, adequate for a night's stay.

Normally if I am stuck in New Carrollton overnight I stay in the Metro Points or the Best Western Beltway -- but this time only this Days Inn was available. It's a nice little hotel. My reservation came out for a smoking room and they were happy to change it to a non-smoking room. The restaurant on site was closed but several fast food and sit-down […] places are a block away. Room was spotless, very comfortable, with a remodeled bathroom. Great in-room coffee. Very quiet, even in my first-floor room. This hotel was exceptional, considering the location, and last minute schedule, of my travel. Overall, I enjoyed my stay. The room was cozy, well-decorated, and gave the overall feel of a mini resort. I would recommend staying at this hotel location.

IWe always enough the stay. We bought in New Year's after going out dancing. Very nice to relax and to get away. I do miss the restaurant but I hope it will reopen soon.
