I paid a little more then what I wanted to pay but it was located right across the street from the amusement park so we actually saved money on parking and it was very convenient for lunch and dinner breaks.

Was great except all carpets in the main areas and room corridors were dirty. The side door entrance/exit to the parking lot was littered with cigarette butts and sticky, dried on soda.

Great location for Six Flags. You can avoid the parking fee and just walk across the street. Our room was clean. Great pool - clean and warm; bring floaties for young ones there is not a shallow area. A negative is they were not putting out enough towels in the pool area and they kept running out. Also breakfast is NOT included.

The dining room offered an all you can eat buffet breakfast for a very reasonable price. The room was clean and when we reported that the remote control for the TV didn't work, they immediately tried to fix it. when that didn't work, they tried to replace it and when that didn't work they immediately changed our room to another with a working a TV and remote. Excellent service and a good attitude.

Room was very clean. Pool and hot tub were in good condition and well-stocked with towels. Staff members were pleasant. The front lobby area looks a little tired, though. Dining and movie theater about 5 min. away by car. MUCH better than the gross smelling Holiday Inn Express in Bakersfield I booked through hotels.com in June.

The hotel has a great location to the Six Flags theme park. The pool is a great temperature.

We only stayed one night. The staff was friendly and the hotel was very clean. The room is a nice size room with a big comfortable bed. What we didn't like was when you open the door the refrigerator is right there. No room to move when you first enter the room but then it opens up into a very spacious room.

Called the front desk to get a crib for my 2 year old who was having trouble sleeping. Unfortunately, the hotel was "sold out" of cribs, which made for an uncomfortable evening, since my two year old didn't fall asleep until 2am. Otherwise, nice stay but the hotel should be more prepared since there is a theme park across the street.

We stayed at this hotel because we were visiting six flags. It was conveniently located right across the street. Hotel was nice and comfortable. Our toilet had issues with flushing and the drains were very slow, but other than that, it was a nice stay. Price was a bit too high for me. It was a short drive to restaurants, with a Carls Jr. and Baskin Robbins right across the street.

Overall, our stay was very nice. The only complaint I had was that the fitted sheets did not stay on the bed and I believe need to be replaced. That's it, the rest was very nice.

The Courtyard by Marriott Vallejo exceeded my expectations in many ways. I wasn't really expecting a whole lot due to the location of the hotel. My family and I stayed here while visiting Six Flags and was treated very well. The reception was very nice and professional. They were very accomodating in checking us in early. The rooms were very nice and comfortable. My family and I enjoyed the place so much that I had to make a business trip thru the following week and decided to stay here again. I would highly recommend anyone to stay at The Courtyard by Marriott Vallejo. The only complaint I could possibly make would be that Housekeeping could be a little more friendly. I walked by with my family and said hello and there was no response, not even a smile. Maybe they just didn't hear me. My second visit was just as good as the first!

Excellent rates, with nice staff to accomadate your needs.

it was a wonderful hotel. the clerk was very accomadating to our needs. At it was a walk away from 6 flags park. Great!!!

This hotel is a good value. Attractively furnished, good linens, comfortable bed, good task lighting, comfortable chairs, good shower and lots of towels. Front desk staff very helpful, and other staff friendly. Many chain restaurants just across freeway, front desk will give you a printed list. We have occasion to visit area a few times a year, definitely will stay here again.

Walk across the street to Six Flags, restaurant on site with good breakfast. small menu for dinner need to add more selection. large pool area, close to freeway, clean rooms. Overall a great hotel for price and location.

Overall it is not a bad experience and I would recommend this facility. I did have to change rooms, when the one I was assigned did not have internet access (I was on a business trip). The system was down when I checked out, so I wasn't able to leave with a receipt. It was emailed to me, as promised. As a business traveler who doesn't use hotels.com frequently, I didn't realize that I would not receive a receipt from the hotel itself for my stay. Inconvenient, but not the end of the world. The breakfast is a little expensive for what is provided and the fact the restaurant is only open on the weekends for dinner is inconvenient. After driving several hours I am not interested in getting back on the freeway to drive to restaurants in an area that I am not familiar with. The staff is simply outstanding. Every single staff member was courteous, pleasant and always accessible for questions or needs. GREAT STAFF!!!

Have stayed here before and loved it. This time the smoke detector beeped very loudly every hour at 24 minutes after exactly! Needless to say, not a very good nights sleep. they did try to fix it the next day, but ended up moving us to another room for the 2nd night

The room was very nice and clean. The service from the front desk was good. The only negative is that the AC fan was extremely loud in our room even when it was on low.

I spent one night here with my husband and two children. The hotel meet all of our needs except for a complimentary continintal breakfast. Don't get me wrong there was a beautiful brunch that was offered to guests, but I thought that it was pricey. My suggestion would be to have both a muffin/juice bar for those guests that aren't ready to paid $40/50 on breakfast, yet would like something to eat before heading to their next destination. On the positive side, I was impressed by how clean the parking lot was. It was very convinient to have a trash can close by when we needed one.

Hotel is right across the street from Six Flaggs Vallejo. It was great for resting after a long day at the park. We would stay again.

I got my car broken into and changed hotels.

We loved that it was right acrossed the road from the park. We walked over the next morning and saved on parking. ($15) The beds were a little hard but other than that it was a great stay.

WE LEFT CLOTHING IN THE ROOM AFTER CHECKING OUT. AFTER CALLING AND REPORTING THE CLOTHING WE RETURNED TWO DAYS LATER TO RETRIEVE IT. ALICE AND JUN WENT OUT OF THEIR WAY TO MAKE SURE WE GOT OUT CLOTHING. JUN PERSONALLY LOCATED OUR ARTICLES AND HAND DELIVERED THEM TO US. AWESOME!!!

I was in town for to show my dog at the show at the Solano county fairgrounds. The hotel is right next to the fairgrounds and was extremely convenient. The room was great and very spacious! The bathroom was huge! There were lots of areas to walk my dog around and plenty of garbage cans for picking up waste. The hotel was very close to many stores and restaurants. I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely stay here anytime I am in town!

This hotel is a 5 minute walk to Discovery Kingdom, and it's worth it. Parking prices are way to high these days but if you stay at this hotel, it's one less over-priced item you need to pay for at these family fun parks. Also the breakfast was great, even though the staff looked over-worked. One area caused a problem, that was the Bar. They didn't open until later in the day, the manager wouldn't even access the alcohol until 5pm. When a guest in my party went to get a toothpick from the Bartender, he was rudely denied. It seemed like the hotel staff didn't like having a bar, like it was a hassle to deal with guests who drink.

Took my 14 yr Granddaughter & a friend to celebrate a birthday. The pool was great! Service above expectations. Hot tub excellent, breakfast- perfect. location a closer walk to 6 Flags than their own parking lot - and we didn't have to pay to park! I read other reviews and not all were so positive so I was not sure, but this was a Hyatt chain experience in every way! Great value- book it & see!

What I expect from Marriott. Room very clean. Hotel also very clean. Employees very friendly and they always said "good morning" to ya. Very nice lobby area. Alot of restaurants ablout one mile away. I would stay there again. Well worth the money.

When we arrived at the hotel, the first thing I noticed was a single person standing outside smoking his cigarette. At the reception we saw a sign, that the hotel has a 100% smoke-free policy, as do all hotels of the Marriott brand. Outstanding! Another thing that stood out was the fact, that the receptionist did not hesitate a second to give us a silent room away from the freeway, although, we booked through a third party online hotel agent web site. It appears to be common practice these days to give travelers the loudest rooms nearest the freeway, if they dare to save money by not booking directly with the hotel. My wife and I had a wonderful stay, and we will stay at Marriott locations a lot more often from now on.

This hotel is striclkly for families with children that are visiting the amusement park.

I picked this hotel because it is across the street from Six Flags/Discovery Kingdom in Vallejo, where I was taking my kids. It's definitely a great hotel for this. It was very clean and quiet. For the price you pay, it would have been nice if they had a complimentary continental breakfast, but overall it was very good.
