The Westin Paris - Vendôme

This is an excellent hotel, in a very convenient location for tourist. The staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and reasonable in size. My only complaint is they don't have hot water maker in the room which shall be provided for guest's convenient.

The Westin was a haven. Wonderful service, beautiful room and walking distance to all my meetings. Walk to the Louvre and Musee D'Orsay and so many other museums and galleries.

We stayed the weekend before Christmas and had a wonderful time. The location is incredible, and the staff were amazing. Would strongly recommend.

Great location, clean rooms, but poor customer service and a bit overpriced. The hotel was in a good neighborhood, located close to the Louvre. However, the poor customer service resulted in an unpleasant stay. The front desk was rude during check-in, especially once they realized we didn’t speak French and we booked our reservations on-line. We had […] difficulty in communicating and receiving information from our concierge. During our first night, they recommended a café around the corner for a small and inexpensive bite to eat. Two soups, 2 sandwiches and 2 drinks later, we ended up paying more than the equivalent of $80USD. Aside from the poor recommendations, the concierge was not willing to provide transportation to the airport. When we asked them to arrange for a car, they said they needed 3 days prior notice. When we asked them to arrange for a taxi, they said they could not do that either. They recommended that once we checked-out, we could have the doorman flag one down for us. What kind of customer service is this? Surely not one worthy of the price we paid nor the Westin & Starwood name! Leer más

My daughter and I truly enjoyed our stay at the Westin Vendome--Paris. The only complaint would be we arrived at 8:00am and they graciously stored our luggage however it was not until 3:30 in the afternoon until we could check into our room. This was only after we were almost asleep in their lobby. There was another couple that arrived that afternoon […] while we were waiting and while they waited they offered them complimentary wine. we have stayed at this hotel many many times over the years and there is always so problem at check in. Either a mixed up reservation, reserved room type not avaliable...they always seems disorganized. The rest of the hotel seems good, but the front desk, check0in specifically is time after time a problem and this visit was no exception.

The Westin Paris is centrally located near the Louvre and other historic locations. Our junior suite was clean and well appointed. The size was acceptable, but the view of a small court yard made the room not worth the rate we paid. 1st room (which we booked) had "Eiffel Tower View" - only if you stepped out onto the balcony & leaned over the railing. Room was so small, you had to move desk to access balcony (or open dresser drawers). We changed to a larger room, but lost the "Eiffel Tower View". Instead, we got 'street noise'. My husband and I enjoyed our stay at the Westin Paris - Vendome. The room was very clean and decorated beautifully. The room was a little small and though we ordered a king size bed, received a queen. We bought the breakfast package and thought the food was super, a gourmet delight. I ate the smoked salmon daily. You're within walking distance to the Louvre, Tuileries, musee d'Orsay, etc. All the employees (except one) were very professional and helpful. We went to breakfast one morning and I didn't want the table we were given because it was too close to other people. The hostess who seated us said a sarcastic remark, stating that later other people will be seated near us. I take vitamins at breakfast and don't like people staring at me when I take them. (This has happened before.) There were many other tables open and she didn't have to put people so close to us. I think the restaurant has too mant tables set too closely together. Whilst this hotel has a great location and has a lot to offer, the service does not live up to the standard you would expect to receive for the room rate that you have to pay. We arrived in Paris for one night and booked two rooms. Unfortunately, it was raining when the taxi dropped us off in front of the hotel. With four suitcases between our family […] and lots of hand luggage, the concierge was not the least bit interested in offering to help us with our bags. After dragging them through the front doors and checking in, again there was no offer for our bags. Yes, we are capable of taking our bags ourselves, but any other hotel with this room rate, would instantly take them away from you before your feet even stepped out of the taxi. This hotel lacked warmth and check- in and check -out was done methodically with no genuine interest for the guest. We booked two rooms with the Eiffel Tower view. The disappointing part of this room is they have a large desk and lamp pushed up against the window. You have to move the lamp, navigate behind the desk and find the cord for the curtain before you can even see the Eiffel Tower. Once you do all that, you can finally enjoy the view. Chilly weather did not hinder us while staying at the Westin Vendome. Thermostat in room individually controlled. Wonderful walking location to pick up tours, walking and or bus. Everything nearby especially Angelinas ( infamous place for macaroons & teas) or hot chocolate. Near Louvre and taxi availability is excellent. I've been to Paris many times and the Westin is one of the best hotels in the city. The location is near everything. We went jogging in the Tuilleries, right next door. We got the breakfast included, it was a lot cheaper that way (still expensive) and it was totally worth it. They upgraded us to an interior junior suite so it was very quiet. Enjoyed our visit very much. Excellent customer service as usual at Westin. Our room was comfortable and well furnished but quite small as one would expect for Europe. Location cannot be beat, central to everything. We had a great view of the Eiffel Tour, Tulieries Garden and many other locations from our room. Beautiful.

Great Hotel...smallish rooms...good service...good restaurants nearby...nice breakfast...take airport bus only a short walk from the Opera drop off.

Right opposite Tuileries and close to Rivoli and Concorde. Room was small and noisy. But they did allow early check in and were very courteous.

I stayed in a room which was very expensive considering the following things. 1) I could hear any noise in the room next door. Every time anybody talked I could hear then as if I was in the same room with them. Thankfully the room next door was only occupied the first night I stayed there. 2) The shower ceiling paint was chipped. Great Hotel . Excellant location & very helpful concierge .

We stayed at the Westin for my 40th birthday in March. We chose it because we have stayed at many Starwoods hotels and have found them to be a great value. We enjoyed our stay overall. Great location. We walked everywhere. It was great to have the gardens and the Louvre so close by. A couple of pet peeves would be the charge for internet service. We […] had to sign up for a $30 service plan and our credit card number was stolen when we entered it to use the computer. Our account was immediately shutdown. The hotel staff was as helpful as they could be, but the internet service provider is not owned by the hotel. An outside vendor runs the pay per use system. Better to bring a lap top and find a cafe with wifi -they are everywhere. Also, our room booked through hotels.com was extremely small and dark facing an inner "courtyard". Really it felt like we were facing a brick wall. We upgraded rooms for a substantial charge and ended up with an incredible view of the Eiffel Tower. The room itself was a bit shabby but the view made up for it. We enjoyed the breakfast that was included and the cocktail lounge was a lovely place to unwind after a long day of walking and sight seeing. A nice hotel, but it could be spruced up a bit. A bit expensive but excellent location and very confortable

My entire closet floor was soaking wet. I saw a rat in the downstairs bar. The restaurant downstairs was less than eager to have you eat there. They repeatedly refer people to the bar instead. There is a lovely courtyard with tables and chairs, but they keep the doors locked at night so it is not accessible. I ordered room service every morning I was […] there. I have stayed at other 5 star hotels in Paris before, this was the best.

Very courteous check in staff, stayed in a quiet room with nice amenities. This hotel is a converted monastery and is very grandiose, as is typical for the hotels in this part of Paris. I would recommend for location and service and luxuries.

I spent six days in Paris at the Westin. I was really impressed. Beautiful building, attentive service, overall a great experience.

I booked a deluxe room which was described on your website as having a city or courtyard view and soundproofing. When we arrived, we were given a room looking out at a building. When we asked to change, the manager gave us a room overlooking the street, however, their was major construction taking place right in front of the window. The room also had […] a connecting door with loud children on the other side of the wall, so it certainly wasn't soundproof, and it was on a smoking floor, even though I requested non smoking. The next morning, I asked to change rooms again, and we were given a room on a non-smoking floor, that was quieter, however, it still looked out on construction. The manager also claimed that there were deluxe rooms with and without views, however your website only listed a deluxe room with and without a breakfast. If you are an American and fearful of anything French then stop and book the Westin. The staff could not have been friendlier and everyone gladly spoke English rather than being forced to like other hotels. I can not say enough about how welcoming and accomodating everyone was and friendly as you would find anywhere. My wife and I and our Chihuahua […] (yes they allow pets EVERYWHERE) spent six days there and we wish we could have stayed another six. Definately get the breakfast plan when you book it is MUCh cheaper this way. Rooms were good size and the location cat be beat. Go out the door and turn right go to the Arch turn left go to the Louvre make another left go to the opera and make two rights and the Eifel tower is just across the river. We expected a first rate experience, 4-5 star quality. What we got was a good 3 star experience. We learned, after not receiving it, that turndown service is only provided upon request, which they do not inform you of at check-in. We were there 5 days/4 nights. Only one bar of soap was provided and was NEVER replaced! There should have been at least […] two to begin with - one by the sink & one in the shower. We made a 10 minute phone call to the US and were charged over $94.90 for it! We were told we should have expected this because there is a book next to the phone explaining it. There was no book next to the phone. I tried to resolve this the night before departure but the Supervisor was "too busy" to speak with me. I spent nearly 30 minutes trying to resolve it before I gave up at midnight. The next morning a supervisor did finally reduce the charge.We paid for a superior room, which was nice but not what we expected for a hotel of this expected quality. On the plus side, the breakfast is superb (make sure you buy it as a package because the cost is 34 euros per person otherwise!). And the location is unbeatable. Leer más

This hotel met our expectations based on past trips to Europe. While the room was small based on American standards, it was good for Europe. Further, the bathroom was bigger than many other hotels in Europe. Also, the breakfast buffet was outstanding.

部屋は思っていたよりも広くはなかったのですが、 立地と、食事がとてもよかったです。 年末年始で、日本人の旅行者が多かったためなのか、 朝食ブッフェにもお米のご飯と、味噌汁が用意してあったのが良かったと思っています。

É a segunda vez que me hospedo no hotel, acho a localização maravilhosa, o hotel é muito confortável e limpo, eu recomendo com certeza o hotel.

午前中に到着したので、荷物を預かってもらって、チェックインの手続きだけして、3時に用意ができると聞いていたので、5時に戻ったら、何も準備してなくて、そこからもう一度チェックインさせられた。2年前にも泊まったことがあるけど、その時も「サービスは最低」でした。歯ブラシは置いてない。シャンプーもない。レザーもない。電話してお願いして持って来てくれた。インターネットは1回7ユーロ。2時間だと39ユーロだったかな？今時、タダじゃないの？ウエスティンは経営が苦しいのかな？と感じました。 ただ、ホテルの立地は最高で、便利だし隣が公園なので、美しい。

値段のわりにはいまいちでした。場所はすごく便利でしたが、ホテルのインテリア（部屋のデザインも含み）は普通で、サービスが最悪でした。英語・フランス語で話しかててもいまいちのサービスだったので、言葉の関係ではないと思います。部屋も毎日適当に掃除されてました。

デラックスルームに滞在しました。ベッドタイプはツインベッド２台。　ベッドが日本のキングサイズ並みの大きいベッドが２台お部屋にありました。大変寝心地よくて　快適でした。また　お部屋の広さも充分でした。・・・その割りに　バスルームは貧弱な感じがしました。　湯沸しポットが無く　ルームサービスで頼めましたが　５ユーロ必要でした。　インターネットサービスは有料でしかも　高額でした。朝食は美味しかったのですが　いただくレストランが　狭い感じで　もう少し　ホテルの雰囲気からすると　優雅な大きいレストランであっても良いと思いました。　ヴァンドームにあり　立地が良く便利。　コストパフォーマンスは　まあまあでした。
