Es lo que un buen viajero busca de un hotel en NYC, agua caliente, caliente y limpio el cuarto, un metro cerca, wifi y hasta ahí. Recomendación no vayan a comer a los restaurantes de atras del hotel es muy fea la comida.

Esta a 15 minutos de Manhattan en bus, sale de la puerta del hotel y te regresa al mismo lugar salen casa 10 minutos te deja en 8 y 42 en Manhattan , el desayuno muy bueno , la atención excelente y el personal muy predispuesto a darte información turística , esta en una zona de negocios , supermercados y varios restaurantes, la zona segura para caminar sin problemas

Un hotel de la categoría del Holiday Inn debería tener al menos en la recepción, personal que hablara español. Aquí en México en casi todos los hoteles de más de 4 estrellas, los recepcionistas son bilingues. Gracias.

"Hotel muy central y de buena calidad"
Muy buen hotel, las instalaciones son de primera y el servicio es bastante bueno, tomando en cuenta el tamaño del hotel. El trato en la recepcion es bueno, pero el trato de los otros empleados no siempre fue cordial. Recomiendo este hotel.

"Céntrico y cómodo"
El único problema es el aire acondicionado extremádamente fuerte en todas las instalaciones del hotel. Para atravesar el hall desearías tener un forro polar..de todos modos es un problema generalizado de NY. Ya conocía el hotel y repetí. Maravilloso. Actualmente hall en obras, una pena.

Habitación muy grande y espaciosa. Las camas muy confortables. La localización es inmejorable. Comentar solo que la decoración no es la adecuada para un hotel de esta categoría y la iluminación es pobre. Por lo demás es un magnífico hotel muy recomendable.
"hotel centrico y buen trato"
Se trata de un hotel muy céntrico, situado en justo al lado de Gran Central, que nadie espere tranquilidad en sus afueras, pero dentro de las habitaciones es muy diferente. La situación en la calle 42 entre Lexington y Madison hace que estés muy cerca de casi todo, principalmente del metro. A nosotros nos toco una que daba detrás, sin grandes vistas, […] pero la habitación era grande, comoda e impecable, se la veía remodelada y con todas las comodidades. La recepción esta en obras, pero es muy amplia, dispone de una pequeña tienda para comprar víveres y el trato fue muy agradable en todo momento, y sin sustos de "gastos" imprevistos. Tiene un gimnasio muy decente. Es un hotel de bastante calidad, muy bien siutuado y conectado con el metro. Pedimos una cama supletoria y como no cabia bien al dia siguiente nos dieron una habitación doble y nos compensaron con el desayuno. Muy amables. Repetiria

The Grand Hyatt was great value for us. The room was a good size (although when you are a party of 4, no room seems quite big enough). The renovations give the hotel a modern feel without seeming cold, and the 24hr gym is very convenient. With more good luck than forethought I booked into the Grand Club...It is a tiny bit more but the value you get […] was returned tenfold. The breakfasts, business centre, open lounge with beverages and snacks as well as the grand club concierge made us feel spoilt. "Great Place to Stay"
The Grand Hyatt is amazing. It is recently remodeled and is top self. The only issue is that they should have replaced the toilets as they don't fit the remodeling. Mine overflowed and it was quite unpleasant. The hotel staff was very accommodating in immediately fixing the problem--so who could ask for more. The location to the subway was perfect!!! I travel to NYC every month and after staying at several area hotels, I've decided to stay at the Grand Hyatt whenever a room is available. The hotel is not perfect, but the service and room comfort are consistently good. The value is very good considering the location.

When we arrived we got a room where somebody threw up. We could not see anything, but it smelled terrible! Bad cleaning!!!! It was no problem to change the room, the receptionist was very nice and apologizing. However the day after we got ill and of course we do not where we got it, but one thought was that it might be from that dirty room as we touched […] the doors and the phone there. This kind of stomach disease is very contageous. So we lost two out of three days in New York lying in bed. This is a very nice hotel with direct access into Grand Central Station. The room was big and the bed was comfortable. My only warnings to others is that there isn't an iron in the room (I'm sure one could be requested) and the lights/blinds are all on automated systems making individualization of turning on/off certain lights a bit challenging. "New Year's Overbooked Hotel"
I was very disappointed in the hotel being overbooked when we arrived. We reserved and paid in advance for double beds but were only able to get 1 king bed. It was a good thing this was a good friend who did not mind sharing the same bed otherwise this would have been a nightmare. "Hyatt Hotel =Grand Central"
The hotel itself was great, but I couldn't believe that you had to pay extra for TV access AND extra for internet access. In my opinion, they are taking advantage of the customers. I don't think i would stay there again, because at a minimum the TV should be for free. In the future, I will look for a hotel with free WI-FI.
It's the perfect place to stay. I have no more words. People are friendly and the service always was immediate! I felt very good And welcomed, also the room was very stylish. We stayed end of November 2011- its walking distance to most of NYC's interesting sites such as Times Square, Rockefeller Center, Broadway and many shopping malls. The breakfast included in our stay was ala carte unlike most hotels where we have buffet style. The hotel was newly renovated but the bathroom flooring looked and felt old. "Nothing in my room"
No glasses, burned out light bulbs, non- functioning remote control. Stupid iPod player that is supposed to be a clock. No coffee pot! Are you kidding? I travel extensively and have NEVER been in a room without one. Strange!

I have stayed in a number of Hyatt Hotels and this is one of the best. It is well located (ie close to everything without being too close to the madness of Times Square) and after the recent refurbishment is very modern and comfortable. The Hyatt Club is definately worth considering. It is modern has great food and free wifi. The only negative we found […] was that some of the concierge staff were a bit ubrupt (but that could just be New Yorkers!) ... but gernerally all other staff were very helpful and pleasant to deal with. "Centrally located"
I wouldn't stay anywhere else in NYC. Accessibility is the key, here. This hotel is on top of Grand Central Station with transportation available easily to the surrounding airports, and NY and CT suburbs. There is a great food court in the station and many other upscale and food stores in the station corridors. "Expensive and not what was promised"
Upon check-in we were told that the non-smoking room we requested, and called to confirm the night before, was not available. We were told we would either have to (a) stay in a smoking room, or (b) stay in a non-smoking room with one king bed where 3 people would need to sleep in one bed and 1 could sleep on a rollaway. This was not acceptable to us […] so the Hyatt put us in a king non-smoking room and comped us a second room. While this was a great solution, the bathroom in one of the rooms was clearly not cleaned. Hair on the shower wall, hair and toothpaste stuck on sink area. Not a good first impression. We were then told the next day we would be moving to one non-smoking room with two doubles as was initially booked. So, after moving again we told the hotel about the dirty room and the cleaning lady who knocked on our door 4 times in 15 minutes wanting to clean the room. When we told her we were not ready (hours prior to check-out), she didn't care. She opened our door and entered our room. This again was completely unacceptable. The hotel then said they would comp our breakfasts for our entire stay. This was generous considering that buying breakfast at the Hyatt will cost you a small fortune. $19 for a small stack of pancakes and $6 for a cup of coffee! The Hyatt did try to make all of their wrongs right with us. When we finally got moved to our new room, one of the members of my family cut his arm on a piece of metal sticking out of the desk chair. With a bloody arm needing first aid, we asked the maintenance people to replace the chair and provide bandages. The next morning, we woke up to a shower that produced no hot water at all. Again, maintenance was at our door working on that issue off and on throughout the day. If it wasn't for Veronica at the Hyatt, we would have checked out given all these problems. She apologized profusely, explained the problem with the union housekeeping staff and how rude they were, and tried very hard to make all of these problem Leer más

Regular king room. Nice bed, sofa, etc. Bathroom was tiny. Clearance between toilet and commode was less than 3 inches. Leg hit the commode. Toilet paper holder was in the commode. In a hole. When you roll the TP the paper goes inside the commode. Tiny sink. Nice fixtures. Tub was tiny and cheap. Lighting was controlled by touch switches that were […] overly sensitive. I love this hotel! Very convenience to everywhere, and worth it with the amount of money I paid. I love the bathroom because it's not shower tub, but it's glass door. Definitely I will stay at this hotel again if I come to NYC again!
