Great staff but just about everything else was horrible. They wanted to charge extra for another person, food was over priced and not very good, no outside food was allowed in the hotel, security alarm went off twice before 7am and the staff could have cared less. Great location though!

I was very happy at the Hyatt Regency Cancún - comfortable beds, beautiful view, great pools, helpful/friendly staff, great location. My only criticism would be that the pillowcases were threadbare and had holes in the corners. But that's all! Otherwise it was fantastic.

WOW IS ALL I HAVE TO SAY... THIS WAS ONE OF THE BEST HOTELS I HAVE STAYED AT. IT REALLY EXCEEDED OUR EXPECTAIONS. SO MUCH SO WE WERE GOING TO STAY FOR 4 DAYS AND WE STAYED AN EXTRA DAY. THE BREAKFAST WAS EXCELLENT. THE HOTEL IS VERY CLOSE TO THE CENTER OF TOWN WITH IN WALKING DISTANCE OF GREAT RESTAURANTS AND SHOPPING.

The rooms were clean and modern, the facility was well staffed with nice, pleasant people, and they had genuine care for customer service.

Great hotel, views, service. Overall We are very satisfied customers. If we go to Cancun, Mexico again, we will definitely stay there. Customer service is amazing, the food great. The only flaw is that does not have beach access, but really, when you get to this hotel, you would not miss that a bit. Great hotel. Thanks!

Wonderful location and really nice hotel. I was disappointed that there was no beach behind the hotel, except for a small one next door. But other than that, it was great!

If you want to fantastic vacation, just make a reservation now. When open your eyes in the morning, you find out that your dream will come true. Have a great vacation with Hyatt Rengency Hotel in Cancun.

This service at this hotel was outstanding! Everyone was extremely friendly and accommodating. Rooms were nicely decorated, although the beds were a little too firm for our taste. Overall, a nice place to stay for the price we paid.

The hotel didn't provide any water, coffee, and charged me 50 US for 2 cans of coke from the minibar.... The area is very expensive, i can spend less in New York for a bottle of water. If you like people in your room whether you like it or not, this is the place to go.

This was a great hotel. It is located immediately next to the very expensive Dreams resort and several other nice hotels. It is within easy walking distance of several good restaurants and shopping areas. The hotel itself has limited facilities, perhaps because it was the slow season. The main restaurant was not open for dinner and the hotel deli was closed. The gift shop does not sell drinks, so one must either use the minibar, go to the restaurant or go to the convenience store across the street to get something to drink. The restaurant does serve a very good breakfast, which is included in the price. The rooms are very nice with flat screen TV's. Each room does appear to have a thermostat, but it seemed to have limited usefulness, as we were not able to get the room to cool to below 75. This is fine for day time, but at night it was a little uncomfortable. Computers are available for access to the Internet in the Business Center for a charge. The staff is nice and accommodating.

Great choice in a very convenient location. If I must say something that needs improvement, I would say that it needs easier access to the beach, and I would have loved it if the beach beds would have had the mattresses. Oh, and also if water bottles were sold at a cheaper price, $80 pesos is too much for water. The hotel next door has their bottles at half the price...

We found the staff, particularly the cafe people very friendly and efficient. So too were the desk staff. Our problem was with the maid service. Our room would not be cleaned until 4 or 5 in the afternoon. Often they did not give us sufficient towels nor did they replenish the soap or shampoo. The room also could have been cleaned more thoroughly.

This hotel was a shock! For what I was paying I didn't expect much. This hotel is beautiful! It's very modern and the pool area is awesome!!! ALL the hotel staff was friendly and it's location can SERIOUSLY not be beat in Cancun!!! I know it sounds like I own the place or something, but it's true. It's really a great hotel. I hope your stay was as good as mine!!

I was so disappointed in this Hyatt. The bathroom floor was dirty and the tub was chipped and dirty. The room was damp and muggy. With the air on it never got cool. The bed sheets smelled sour and when you ran the water in the sink, it smelled like rotten eggs. The lighting in the room was very low. If you asked 5 different staff the same question you would get 5 different answers. The bartenders and waiters were very friendly and pleasant. This hotel needs a makeover!! I would never have expected this from Hyatt.

I loved staying at The Hyantt Regency in Cancun. The hotel was located minutes walking distance to all the hot spots, but we had the private water view which was quiet and relaxing. The decor was instantly calming...no bright colors, just mellow tones with a zen like vibe. Jus what I was looking for. We did speak with someone that heard noise throughut the night, but their room was located at another side of the building. Access to the beach was a few yards next door on another property.The big disappointment was having to get up early to claim your spot on one of the sun beds. However, if you are willing to just grab a lounge chair, plenty were available. The big surprise was the wonderful breakfast buffet which is described as continental breakfast. There were Mexican dishes as well as American breakfast dishes. Wonderful fresh juices and fruit platter. This should be marketed more clearly with the accomodations with the hotel. We were pleasantly surprised that it was included in our stay!

I loved the hotel. It was very beatiful. The bellboys and conseige were very helpful, and courteous.

This is a smaller, cozier Hyatt Regency than others we have stayed in. Because of the location on the tip of land between the Pacific and Gulf of Mexico, the room views are fantastic. Good value compared with other hotels nearby. A very short walk to restaurants, clubs and shopping makes it super convenient to get around by foot. The pool and beach area with cabanas are great! We loved it and would stay there again.

The Hyatt Regency is on the windiest spot in Cancun. We needed sweaters the whole time we were there. No heated pool. No beach to speak of. Very modest accommodations. Scary lobby with stairs everywhere. Frightful. We left early and went to another hotel, for many many reasons.

My wife and I stayed at the Cancun Hyatt Regency and enjoyed the hotel completely. Beach: We knew in advance that the hotel did not have a beach and that was no problem for us. We enjoyed the pool and, when we felt like getting sand in our Speedo's, we went to Dreams' beach << it's sanctioned >> or the Hard Rock Cafe beach. Location: Perfect. Close to the best clubs, restaurants, and shopping. Service: Perfect in every way.

The only issue I had with the hotel room was that the temperature was hard to control and becuase of humidity in the room, the floor would become wet a hot shower was taken or the balcony door was open for a time.

The room itself was nice and clean. It was awesome to wake up every morning and watch the sunrise and also to overlook the ocean from the lanai. Location was pretty good. It was far enough from the clubs so that it was quiet, yet within walking distance (5min walk) to the clubs, restaurants, fastfood, shopping, bus stop, etc. A convenience store (OXXO - kind of like a 7-11) was located just across the hotel, where items such as bottled water and snacks could be purchased. I was also on business travel. I used their wireless high-speed internet service(for an additional fee) to connect to my company's network via VPN. No problem with that, and the connection speed was very good. The downside was that there was no beach in front of the hotel, just a wall separating the ocean from the hotel. Not too big of a deal since there was a beach next door that was accessible, although you were not allowed to not sit in their chairs. Regarding previous reviews that the A/C was not working properly and the sheets were damp, I did not find that to be the case. I guess if the windows were to be left open all the time, the sheets might have felt damp due the ocean breeze.

The room is comfortable, however is was not very clean. They did not clean the room one day because they were short of cleaning staff. They charge around $15 per day for internet access. The drink service by the pool was not very efficient and they did not have enough pool chairs. The breakfast buffet was really nice and wasn't include it. I will recommend this hotel to anyone, who want to be closed to all the clubs in Cancun and do not want to be around children. Next visit to Cancun, I will definitely stay at other hotel

We were very disappointed that our beachfront room overlooked the Carribbean Sea but the hotel has NO BEACH. We were also disappointed that the VIP lounge in the evening didnt have very good canapes We decided to upgrade to the VIP service upon arrival for the additional #60.00 because it included breakfast and cocktails. All other services were good

The Hotel has NO beach. This is hard because you have to go to walk to three hotels down the ocean front to be bale to get to the ocean. Be very careful with the mini bar as things disappear and you will be charged for.

I guess if you go to Cancun in a business trip this hotel will be great, but to spend couple of days at the beach, choose a different hotel, because this hotel has no access to the beach. They give you a free pass for a beach club down the road, which is good but it is a 10 minute walk (we timed it from the moment we left the rooom to the moment we arrived at the club, at a fairly fast pace). Otherwise the location is great if you want to walk to local restaurants or stores. The bus stop is 2 blocks away.

The Hyatt Regency Cancun was an amazing structure. However, its location might be one to investigate before booking your stay. Taxis get expensive.

No hot water in my room the first day. We had a complimentary continental breakfast and cocktail in compensation. Other than that, hotel is great. No private beach though but beaches are everywhere in Cancun !

The room was very spacious, the hotel was great, the location even better, it its right by everything yet in a nice little part of the street that allows for restful sleep, great view! The only down side is that for the price we paid we did not even get complimentary breakfast ...

Just got back from a one-night stay at the Hyatt Regency Cancun. It was the end of a week long trip to a remote area, so this was a huge step up in terms of amenities. Hotel was absolutely gorgeous! It was super hip, modern -- awesome decor throughout. Pools were nice, maybe other hotels have more elaborate pools, but we had been on a sandy beach for 7 days and having a nice pool to swim in seemed like the height of luxury. We paid a ridiculously low price for this room as well. Would definitely stay here again. Only downside was that we were at the far end of the hotel zone and not incredibly close to many restaurants (important when traveling with children). Had lunch at the hotel, which was good (although pricey). One thing to note is that there is another Hyatt in the hotel zone and our driver took us to the wrong one! So, be careful if you book a Hyatt.

Friendly accomodating people. Clean property and good food. Highly recommend.

The Hotel was clean and very well kept, but the crew needs to work on their service.

Gorgeous Location; in the heart of the party place in Cancun... The food in the Deli and restaurant is not that great. However, if you stay in this hotel, it will be a lifelong experience (in good sense).

Outstanding service, very contemporary/comfortable room with magnificent view of the sea, restaraunts had top quality food/presentation, pool was incredible...i want to install the in-the-water tile chaise lounges like they have in my pool at home now...Price was very reasonable compared to the competition.

Booked and paid for a king size bed, concierge level, with a full ocean view These were not available upon arrival. The radio did not work, when the radio was fixed, the phone did not work, apparently there wasa problem with the electric outlet. So, when the concierge called to "change" my room there was no phone to take the call. No other efforts were made to contact me. No adjustments were made to the room charges.

Humidity was high in the room causing an odor.

This hotel did not seem to be a Hyatt ! The professionalism of the desk staff was quite wanting. Teh concierge was pretty good. The room fridge was kept locked and it needed us to make a call to keep it open ! When we asked for a bucket of ice - the staff brought an empty bucket. The view is great - we took the ocean view room. Teh room phone tariff and the internet tariff could certainly be more friendly with the purse. The other Hyatt in Cancun is certainly miles better

Not only is the hotel awesome for the price, but the view alone will make your trip. Ask for the side with the view of the beach and hotels... the view will blow you away.

I was very disappointed withe hyatt. toilet did not work , ceiling leaked, service was very bad , very impersonal staff.

Great hotel with a lot of style and modern decor. It caters to a higher end crowd with a flair for the jet setters who appreciate contemporary styling of Wallpaper magazine, Audi automobiles, and Apple electronics. Great pool, nice rooms with wonderful ocean views. The only cons are that it lacks a gym (agreement with a neighbor hotel, though), no beach (washed away in hurricane), and no jacuzzi. Outside of that it's a great hotel and I'd stay there again in a heartbeat.

Tres bel hotel. Tous services. Nous avons apprécié particulièrement sa situation géographique au km 10 de la zone hotelière à côté du coco bongo, les lits à baldaquins face à la mer des caraïbes, la qualité du petit déjeuner et la salle de sport flambant neuve.
