todo estuvo bien en el hotel lo unico que estuvimos 5 dias y nunca cambiaron el desayuno para nada , siempre lo mismo deberian de variar un poco, de ahi todo exelente

Put in a smoking room (non-smoking asked for) - moved to a non-smoking. Bathroom could have been cleaner. Staff very helpful and polite.

We were made to feel welcome once again! A convenient and comfortable hotel always.

This used to be a great hotel but it is tired and the lower price we paid reflects that.

Nicely located near underground, Starbucks, Pauls, Burger King, Natural History Museum etc. Very exclusive feel to the hotel and it has a very good hotel bar.

Good lobby and great location but the service was questionable. Staff wasn't to customer friendly and were always trying to make that extra buck off you. Room cleaners woke you up everyday too early, but I'd stay there again for its location and good rooms.

I practically dart-boarded where I would spend my weekend. Based on other's reviews and the hotel's website, I picked a real winner. The bed was comfortable and the room was quiet. As a busy American accustomed to showering, I hadn't contemplated soaking in a tub in years. Good value for price. Comfortable, reasonably large rooms, w/ pretty good beds by normal rock hard euro standards. Good fitness center, but for runners, Kensington Gardens is only a five minute run away and very scenic/safe. Seemless check-in; had adjoining rooms (requested via email in advance) that were available when we arrived at 11:AM. Easy to […] see why large US tour companies and lots of airlines use this hotel. Less than 1 minute walk to Gloucester Rd Tube station (serves Piccadilly, Circle and District lines- see below). Can't comment on the overpriced breakfast quality- but looked very good- However it's cost prohibitive for a family of four for a week (apparently included as part of most package tour guests)- Think well above good Disney hotel buffet breakfast prices! But then again Starbucks is right across street from Tube and cheaper than in the States, and there's a little breakfast place between he hotel and Tube with English breakfast for a few pounds. Ditto Tesco food store next to Starbucks- for good almond croissants and other fresh bakery stuff for under a pound.... so who needs hundred+ dollar family breakfasts? You'd think hotel would figure that out and be more reasonable/family friendly, but for the price can't complain too much. Similar story wih crazy expensive hotel internet. Use the free wifi at Starbucks which is open until 10PM. Piccadilly Tube line gets you to Leicester Sq and Covent Garden in 12 minutes with no charges- five more minutes and you're at the Eurostar/Chunnel St Pancras station. (but give youself 20+ minutes there to get through security/passport if going to France). If arriving at Heathrow, save yourself some money and take the regular Piccadily line Tube, which stops right below the terminals and takes you right to your hotel (Exit @ Gloucester and hang a right- hotel is right across the street, but could invest in better sign!). The room service set up was not good. But the hotels breakfast was well done and the service was good.

We paid top dollar - but the room was not well clean, The were lots of small of mold. Very nice location. Good staff.

I transfered to Millennium Gloucester Hotel London Kensington after spending 3 days at another more expensive hotel in London during a recent business trip to London. Once business was over I looked for another hotel to save some money and decided on Millennium as it was half the price of the hotel I was staying at. Millennium totally exceeded my expectations. […] The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The carpet in the hallway was in the process of being replaced; I loved the smell of the new carpet! The foyer was opulent and guest services exceptional. Conveniently located right next to Gloucester Road subway station; literally 60 seconds away. Round the corner from Gloucester rd tube station and with easy access to main tourist sights. also close to kensington Olympia. Comfortable hotel with nice, welcoming staff. Breakfast pricey though! Plenty of local shops though!

If the rates are to your liking, you won't go wrong here. Superb location for easy tube access, lots of dining options, easy access to all stations as well as heathrow. Only downside is ridiculous and inexcusable high internet access costs but good 3g coverage!

We met friends in London abd stayed at one of your sister hotels - a lovely smaller hotel. We left the city for three to drive into Cotswolds; and we were disappointed to find that the first hotel wasn't available. We were so happy to find that your magnifcent millennium was available because it was same brand to hotel. What a wonderful welcoming atmosphere […] .... Beautiful lobby..... Very amicable front desk staff.... Perfect accommodations.... Great location! And really enjoyed concierge level with the ability to grab a tea or coffee and snacks after long days of sight seeing. The concierge was helpful as well. We all just loved your hotel; and when we return to London the Gloucester millennium is the place my husband and I will definitely stay. Thank you Leer más

Ideally located, this hotel was run by friendly and helpful people. The accommodations were comfortable and clean. The public areas were quite luxurious; I would like to hold or attend conferences here.

First Impressions: Good. Impressive lobby, lots of helpful staff available - Doormen, Porters, Concierge etc. Check In: Quick and easy and despite arriving very early my room was ready. Great after a long haul flight. Room: Hmm. A nice size for London. This was a Club level room. Paint and plaster from one of the arches in the room had come away leaving […] a large black mess. There were rust and mould areas in the bathroom. Daily Housekeeping: Usually prompt. I stayed for 5 nights and in the end had to take surreptitious actions to get soap replaced and sufficient toilet rolls left each day. I usually hid the toilet roll that was left and the soap if I knew I definitel needed new ones. I did actually ask the housekeeper on one occasion to leave additional stuff but when I got back to my room at the end of the day - nothing!! Club Lounge: Breakfast was great each morning. Hot food left a lot to be desired in terms of quality though. Fresh coffee and drinks as well as fruit available throughout the day. They also had afternoon tea but I never was around for that. Drinks and canapes each evening from 18:30 - 20:30 were also great. Seating in the lounge was a mix of low tables (most were these type) and some normal dinning tables. The low tables were inadequate to take meals from and there was too much furniture in the room in general such that seating was cramped. The lounge is not large enough to cater for the volume of traffic it gets at peak times. Late Checkout: Needed a late check out on my last day as my flight was late evening. Reception asked that I check on the day. Not good enough for me so I asked againt he afternoon prior to my last day - same response. So I said I was prepared to pay. Got the OK for an additional small charge to have the room until 4pm but would need to check with reception the next morning to confirm. Tried to ring reception the next morning to confirm - couldn't get connected phone just rang and rang. Operator repeatedly kept trying. In the Leer más

Altogether, spent 14 nights at the Millennium Gloucester in September. A comfortable hotel and very convenient to the tube station in a very desirable area. Staff were friendly and helpful and our room was spacious. I only stay at the Gloucester when in London. The location for my work requirements could not be more convenient. 1 minute from tube with easy links and access to The Kings Road, Old Brompton, Cromwell, Kensington High Street and Hyde Park. The hotel common areas are pretty good, great reception area, dining and bar. Lifts are also very effecient which […] is a must. The rooms are nice, but not great. Bathrooms, okay, but not nice. This hotel is about 1 minute walk from Gloucester Road Tube Station and there are plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. The rooms are comfortable although the lighting was a bit dim in parts of the room. The room safe isn't big enough for a standard sized laptop. Check-in wasn't as smooth as it should be as they had down the wrong bed type and said […] that was what I had booked until I showed them the confirmation to prove otherwise. However, it was a trainee so that may be the reason. On one of the nights I was there, my room wasn't made up and on another, dirty cups weren't cleared away nor was tea and coffee replenished. There was also a couple of small issues in the breakfast room where the toast was never what had been requested and I had a full cup of tea taken away when I got up to visit the buffet. An excellently located hotel for ease of access to London's Piccadilly and Central Lines of the underground. The hotel has pubs, restaurants and supermarkets literrally on the door step. The staff are particularly helpful in all aspects. Although the breakfast was 'good' the cooked food section could be presented a little hotter (we had cold eggs and […] bacon ....????), However, this was our second time at the hotel for our weekend away in the city and will certainly use this hotel again. 10 years ago I used to practically live in this hotel and loved it. My latest stay was a bit rough. The first room was an airline crew room was littered with cigarette burns and smelled horrible so I had them move me. The next room was full of problems such as the fridge did not work so the milk that I bought for protein powder spoiled, the air conditioner […] was pegged on high and would not turn off so it was freezing, and I could not seem to get any hot water from the shower. Good 4 * hotel bustling with life and in great location for local shopping and, must see sights. A 15 min. walk along Cromwell Road to museums and up to Harrods and High Street Ken. Would stay again.

Last year I stayed twice at the Millenium Gloucester and earch visit was excellent. Last December, during the London snow storm they accomodated me by extending my stay and upgrading me to an excellent room. A month ago, in late June, I stayed at the Millenium Gloucester and got a terrible room. The safe did not work and remained out of order until […] the last day of the visit. I was promised an excellent room during my next visit. In early July I stayed at the Millenium again. I was allocated a room with a defect AC system. I was transfered to another room and noticed marks of a forced breakin attempt, making it difficult to close the room properly. It was never fixed during my stay at the hotel. One morning there were no lights in the room or bathroom. Lights came back on in the late morning but no apologies were made. Room cleaning and hallway cleaning left a lot to be desired. In summary, the two stays at the Millenium Gloucester this summer were very disappointing and contrasted sharply with earlier visits. On the positive side, the location is perfect. Unfortunately problems were encountered from the start; took 30 mins to get out of the car park after the 1st day. House keeping ignored do not disturb signs twice then failed to clean the room after a request. Rooms were dated and not the cleanest. Beds were extremely uncomfortable. Never received our wake up call. Took forever to get a taxi. Were told at front desk that all guest rooms had free wi-fi and when we attempted to sign on there was a charge for every 24 hour period. Could not do express check out, because we had to dispute the internet charges. […] When we arrived in the room, there was a brochure for the "the spa". When I called down to make massage appointments, the Concierge told me they had no spa, but that he could send a massuese up to our room. When the masseuse arrived, I questioned to myself if she was truly a masseuse. Would never stay at the Millennium again and have great regret for the amount we paid for the room! Leer más

.... we enjoyed our stay here. The Concierges were ALL very helpful and nice. The breakfast is AWFUL. I'm all for experiencing other cultures and their foods but bad food is bad food. Thirty UK Pounds for two omlettes, two coffees and two glasses of juice. The coffee was some of the worst I have ever tasted. The good news? Safe neighborhood with some […] decent restaurants and a Starbucks nearby. The Gloucester Tube Station is across the street and the location is fabulous. They're probably going to replace the carpet and other worn items before the Olympics next year, and overall we liked the place...but they need to fix and CLEAN their air conditioning. This hotel location is great....2 minutes walk from the Gloucester Road station which has 3 lines....Picadilly, District and Circle. The lounge facility was a great comfort with a great service. Our only complaint was the hotel joined to single beds into a king-sized bed which wasn't comfortable. And, when we complain to the front desk, they pass […] the blame to us booking the room through hotels.com and did not offer to replace the bed. Leer más

I have stayed in this hotel a number of times when traveling to London to visit my relatives. Its location is excellent and one can tube there directly from Heathrow. However, on my last two visit I was placed in a very small and less expensive room then I had reserved and had prepaid for. I had had to complain to the hotel manager to get the get the […] type of room I had reserved. . This hassle is not what a tired traveler wants when checking in. I can understand an error once, but not two times in a row. I no longer recommend this hotel. There are many others close by. Leer más

The Millennium Gloucester Hotel in Kensington was in a fabulous location near the tube station (serving three different lines). Nice neighborhood with lots of restaurants and a couple of grocers nearby. But the hotel needs some help. The bath room sink was cracked, the flip top trashcan didn't work, several light bulbs were burned out and one day we […] only had one towel (in a double room). The sheets and duvet cover did not get changed unless we called and requested it (after day three we figured out that we were still sleeping on the same linen)! We had never stayed in a hotel, much less a four star, that did not change the bed linens regularly. We would not stay in this hotel again. Leer más

In general a very good quality hotel and very convenient for transportation and tourist sites. I had only two complaints. The most important is that the hotel charges for internet access. There is no Wifi in the rooms, only a cable and the rates were exorbitant at 8 pounds an hour or 20 pounds for 24 hours. In this day and age, internet connectivity […] is part of normal life and to charge at all for this, let alone charge so much, feels almost like being charged for the use of the toilet or shower in the room. Even budget hotels nowadays provide free Wifi access. For a hotel of this standing not to do so is either to be well behind the times, or to be just greedy for a few extra pounds. The second problem was that no matter what the thermostat was set to, the room was a sauna and I had to switch off the airconditioner and open the windows. They offered an enginner to come up late at night, but I was tired and wanted to go to bed. Apart from these aspects, it was a good stay. Leer más

Room and bathroom were nice although we could have done with a couple of extra towels (I am sure these would have been provided if we'd have asked) The extras i,e breakfast were expensive but not really required as plenty of places to snack locally. I recommend the hotel. The rooms are large for London, the hotel and lobby are slightly dated but clean and comfortable. The tubes and buses are 1/2 block away and only about 10-15 minutes to Westminster or Leichester Square. The neighborhood has pubs, restaurants, connivence stores. Wi-fi is an extra 10 pounds/day, but for 25 pounds/day you can upgrade […] to a larger room with internet and have access to their club room which includes breakfast in the am and wine and snacks at night. Unhelpful and surly hotel staff ... spoilt the whole experience of a stay in a 4star hotel. If it was not for the intervention of Hotels.com it would have ruined our break.
