Excelente hotel, muy cómodo, limpio, personal atento y muy amable, frente al Hyde Park y cercano a Oxford Street. Muy recomendable.

Para su categoría casi perfecto: atención al cliente correcta, limpieza diaria de la habitacion, buenos servicios y restauración. Ubicacion perfecta y bien comunicado. Al lado de la estación de metro. Recomiendo desayunar en el cafe de enfrente del Hotel.

El hotel está bien, tiene una buena ubicación y a un paso de la estación de metro Lancaster Gate. Está muy cerca de la estación de Padington donde llega el tren Express del aeropuerto de Heathrow. Recomiendo utilizarlo para conectar con el aeropuerto; tarda 15 minutos y es cómodo

Muy buen hotel, limpio y buen situado al lado de Hyde Park y Padington Station.

El personal es increíblemente servicial, el hotel está IMPECABLE. Es 10 puntos en TODOS los sentidos. MUY recomendable.

Hemos estado mi mujer y yo tres noches en este hotel. Destacar la amabilidad de las recepcionistas, en especial de Estrella de Valencia que nos indicó todos los sitios de Londres para visitar. Se agradece alguien de España cuando no dominas mucho el idioma. Las vistas de la habitacion de la decima planta, impresionantes. Hay una estacion de metro en […] la misma manzana, con lo que la facilidad de desplazamiento es inmejorable. No utilizamos el desayuno porque es muy caro y enfrente hay un bar que se desayuna formidablemente y ademas el dueño es argentino y muy barato. Leer más

Es un hotel muy bien situado con una estación de metro justo al lado del hotel. Habitaciones confortables con ropa de cama impecable aunque deberían de cambiar los colchones, se hunden. Los baños nuevos. El desayuno es caro pero enfrente del hotel se puede desayunar en un café por la mitad de precio que en el hotel.

Es un hotel que está fenomenal.Cerca del centro y con muchas posibilidades de transporte(Metro,Bus) Lo recomienndo

The hotel is overlooking Hyde Park, in very close proximity to Oxford Street/ Knightsbridge/ Nottinghill - right beside bus 148 (from Victoria) and Lancaster Gate Tube. Good hotel at a good price. - The room was comfortable and clean. The service was pretty good. Lcoation is also very good.

The location is great - on Bayswater road, Zone 1 - right across the street from Hyde park, on top of an underground station, with easy access to bus services, and within walking distance of Oxford street, museums, etc. Staff were friendly and attentive. Room size was decent, although for the money it could have been a little bigger. The room was cleaned […] every day, towels and toiletries were replaced daily. Given the location, services offered and 4-star rating of the hotel, I would say that the high room prices are justified. Stayed here during Xmas holidays. Staff very helpful. Location a little far from sights but the tube and bus stops are right outside. Xmas season a good bargain.

We asked for a non-smoking room but the vents filled out room with smoke from someone else, it was absolutely disgusting...staff did not seem to care at all either

We had a great two nights at the Lancaster London. The staff was very nice and helpful.

Just spent a night with 3 friends at Lancaster Hotel and this was the first and last time I will stay there. The location was great with Lancaster Gate Tube station right around the corner, and the Nipa Thai Restaurant on the first floor in the hotel was excellent! However, this hotel with 12 floor only had 4 elevators, and the were veeeeery slow. […] So slow in fact that we use the service staircase from the 3rd floor the entire stay instead of waiting 3-4 minutes or more just for one of the elevators to get to our floor... incredibly annoying. The £ 18 breakfast buffet was also a bit pricy, but decent enough. Again the staff was very slow and un-attentive, and so was the staff when checking out (even thought the hotel was prepaid). In short: this hotel does not deserve 4 stars, and London is full of great hotels with equally good location and comfort. Leer más

wonderful atmosphere and very comfortable.

Great location with tube stop just around the corner as well as several downtown headed buses. Just a walk across Hyde Park and you're in Knightsbridge. Very close to Notting Hill. Small but comfortable room with nice view of the park. Breakfast buffet average (nice selection of fruit though) so we mostly opted for breakfast/brunch elsewhere. Very quiet […] on 13th floor where we were despite hotel being surrounded by biggish streets. Had late dinner on arrival in Thai restaurant Nipa in the hotel, which was excellent. Leer más

Had a great stay. When we checked in I noticed they gave a city view n not apark view like I had booked so we were upgraded to a suit wiv apark view that was an amazin room! Hyde park is just over the road from hotel n oxford st is walkin distance. The only downside 4 me as they dont have astaircase as im not a lover of lifts so had to use staff stairs. […] But idid manage to get in the lift in the end! I would stay here again! Leer más

It was a pleasure staying in this hotel; it was gorgeous, ver well located around the street from the underground and with a great deli and a great french restaurant just across the street. We stayed at the Lancaster London for about a week in November, and were delighed with the service, the friendly and courteous staff, the lovely hotel itself and all the amenities. However, the one small critique I have is that the beds were quite hard (some don't mind this) and so were the pillows. The hotel could improve by simply having a choice […] of different pillow types, as some hotels have already done (Marriott, for one) across the board. But that was the only small thing that I would change - otherwise, all very nice and lovely! Great location for walking in Hyde Park, hopping on the tube or bus or grabbing a taxi - also good shopping and good (cheap) eats along Bayswater - Whiteley's Mall nearby at Queensway and some good restaurants in the area. I stay in hotels at least 2 nights per week and I am sometimes disappointed to find out the Hotel is not as described. The Lancaster is exactly as described and more. The Lancaster London is in a great location right around the corner from the Lancaster Gate Underground station. It is also right across the street from Hyde Park and a 7 minute from Paddington Station. The room size was pretty decent (smaller than American hotel rooms, but "big" for European standards), but if you are traveling with large suitcases, […] it will be a bit crowded in the room. There's nowhere to really lay a large suitcase flat; it's either on the study table, luggage rack, or floor. Carry-on size suitcases will fit just fine and leave room for moving about in the room. There is free cable in the rooms with plenty of channels. Housekeeping comes to each room around 7pm-9pm for a turndown service, letting you pick and choose some extra cookies, teas, and coffee (which is a really nice extra). The staff was very friendly and the Thai restaurant on the first floor was very tasty. The beds were great and the blankets were super soft. My only wish on my wishlist is that they had some form of complimentary internet/wifi access. It's fine that the rooms don't have access (it's 17pounds/day), however, even the business center charges for internet usage. So, if you need to check in to flights, check e-mail, or anything, you will have to go somewhere else. Overall, this was a good hotel in a great location. Leer más

Walk to Hyde Park, several excellent Pubs, street shopping, banks, all sources of transportation. Fair price for a decent hotel. Excellent services, friendly satf.

Our stay at the Lancaster Hotel was very satisfactory. We complained about a water noise, and this was immediately corrected. The location is excellent, and only a hundred yards or so from the Lancaster tube station.

Rooms were decent sized and the surrounding neighborhood offered enough dining choices when we wanted to stay close to home for breakfast or dinner. Good pub close by too.

My son and I stayed here for 6 nights and enjoyed ourselves. The room was clean tidy and comfy and best of all had great air conditioning, which was really needed as London was experiencing a heat wave of days near 30c. The 'turn down' service of a night time was unexpected and a bit of fun for us. We chose to have our breakfast at the Island Bar of […] a morning, rather than the buffet breakfast. The meals, imo were of a high quality and the staff were great, after 6 days they really felt like family. The hop on hop off buses have a stop over the road along with general buses. Lancaster Gate Tube is part of the central line which means you have a greater chance of changing trains somewhere no matter where you are heading. Easy walk from Oxford Street and Harrods can easily be reached with a walk across the park. If you are fit and into walking, a lot of London can be reached very easily from the Lancaster. Leer más

Well situated hotel, opposite Hyde Park. Ten minutes from both Oxford Street and Paddington Station. Nice clean room but I don't really think that the room deserved title of 'superior'

Good points: convenient location to Paddington Train Station and London/Heathrow Express, just a 5 minute walk. Lots of cafe's, restaraunts and bars in the area. London sightseeing hop on-off bus tour stop just across the road with tickets available from hotel. Taxi rank just outside the hotel. Hyde and Regent Parks just across the road, great for walking […] and relaxing after a long flight. Not so good points: rooms are a bit dated, no free internet Leer más

We did have some problems with the room when we got there, but they were fixed very quickly to our satisfaction: 1. bad shower head - was replaced in 10 minutes by a very nice maintenance guy. 2. the bed was too soft for us - we were upgraded to a better room, with no extra charge. the staff of the hotel was very nice and helpful. the location is […] just great. it's across the road from hyde park, and above the lanchaster gate underground station. i would definitely recommend this hotel. Reception staff are unhelpful, asked for a non smoking room and they put me in a smoking room. if you have a complaint they say sorry theres nothing we can do. there is no management running the hotel and he is not available for you to see him. the pillows are like rocks extremely uncomfortable. the bed moves when your sleeping on it as theres wheels […] underneath and its not fixed to the wall. there is no difference with park and city view all of them are the same, but with different prices, all are the same view...there are no facilities in the hotel such as gym or a pool, and you even have to pay a deposit for the umbrella if you want to take one out. no shops in sight very secluded location. probabely the worst hotel i stayed in london Leer más

Best thing? Convenient for Paddington Station, a 3 minute walk. Rooms are tired but very clean and reasonable size. We were given smoking rooms which we had not asked for and they seemed surprised that we found this unacceptable. Long waits at reception to sort room change and then given twin beds followed by more surprise when we requested this to […] be changed.
