El hotel esta muy cerca del freeway 95 lo cual es una ventaja del punto de visa de movilidad, pero si les toca una habitación del lado del freeway el ruido de los vehiculos puede ser molesto

Lastima que el personal del hotel no ayude a los huspedes con sus inquuietudes. Parece que les molestara que les hicieran preguntas.
Ubicación.
En pleno centro de Fort Lauderdale, Sheraton Fort Lauderdale Beach Hotel se encuentra en primera línea de playa y cerca de lugares de interés como International Swimming Hall of Fame, Port Everglades y The Gallery at Beach Place. Otros lugares de interés cerca de este hotel deportivo incluyen Hugh Taylor Birch State Park y Bonnet House Museum and Gardens.

Todos los hoteles en Fort LauderdaleTuve problemas por la habitacion que pagué, por intermedio de hotels.com, nunca me habían dado una pieza tan poco atractiva, incluso con la chapa mala,que se quedó abierta, reclamé y me tuvieron que cambiar de habitación. Dudo de volver para este mismo hotel.,a pesar que me atendieron mi reclamo.

Esta muy bien ubicado, esta totalmente reciclado,muy familiar, muy buenas habitaciones ( nosotros estuvimos en la torre),muy atentos los empleados, incluso las empleadas del bar donde desayunabamos. Volveria otra vez.
"Excelente relación costo beneficio"
El hotel es hermoso, recién remodelado, impecable. La ubicación en Fort Lauderdale es optima. La única crítica que le haría es que no cuenta con una heladerita o freegobar en la habitación (si se solicita una, cobran u$s 10 extra el día). Igual super recomendable!

"Hotel que No cumple con las expectativas minimas"
Lo unico importante es que esta sobre la playa, pero hay que bajar a reservar una reposera a las ocho de la mañana sino terminas en la arena con una toalla.- Son tres edificios llenos de habitaciones todas pequeñas, pero solo uno de ellos tiene bar, restaurant y loby lo que quiere decir que esta sobredimensionado en habitaciones y practicamente carece […] de servicios para la cantidad de publico que alberga..- La alberca en la playa es muy pequeña y nunca hay lugar.- Mi recomendacion es solo para aquellos que quieren estar en la playa y pagar una tarifa muy reducida y sin pretensiones .- Leer más
"FANTASTICO CON NIÑOS"
La habitación, la situación (frente a la playa) y las instalaciones (piscinas) son muy adecuadas para las familias. Hay un horror de mosquitos en la zona pero en el hotel hay buenas mosquiteras en ventanas y balcones. Vimos los delfines desde la habitación. Actualmente hay una zona de playa cerrada porque están acondicionando la arena.

Es increíble que un SHeraton en la Florida y en Usa no tenga canales de televisión en español No hay uno solo en cincuenta canales. Si llueve cinco días como nos paso la TV pasa a ser algo my importante
"error al cobrar la llegada de un paquete"
durante nuestra estancia en el hotel recibimos 6 paquetes chicos de diferentes tiendas enviados por nuestros hijos. Es un error de política del hotel cobrar U$S5 a un huésped alojado en el hotel por recibir un paquete. Nos provocó gran desconformidad, ya que nosotros viajamos mucho y es la PRIMERA VEZ que nos cobran por éste servicio en un hotel.

Es un aceptable hotel tres estrellas acondiconado a nuevo con habitaciones pequeñas, sin lujo.- El hotel originalmente no fue un Hotel de lujo y tiene la ventaja de la playa pero los defectos originales de una construcción humilde. La ubicacion esta sobre la playa, pero a unas cuantas cuadras del lugar para salir e ir a comer, no se puede ir caminando. Sauqe una habitacion con vista al mar y me dieron una habitacion que el freten estaba tapada por arboles con lo cual no se veia el mar (esta es una categoria inferior a la que saque que se llama vista pacialmente oculta). Loved this hotel! Staff super friendly and helpful. Gorgeous pool and beach. One of few places where you don't have to cross the highway to get to the beach. Excellent amenities, like poolside bar and grill. Room very clean and large. Will definitely be back!
"Best room in the house required"
This hotel's main section is aging and substandard. The walls are thin and the rooms are noisy, the wind blows through the heater system. You need to get the new hotel sections to get a decent room.

The hotel is on the beach but only one building (the Beach Building!) is actually close to the water, so ask for that building if you must be as close as possible. Also, that building has the prettiest pool, an infinity pool with a nice patio and bar for enjoying coffee, lunch, or cocktails. great location, great beach. beautiful infinity pool. good beachside food at bar. Staff at coffee bar were not the most friendly when asking for breakfast tea!Bordeline insulting to our country. Also concierge were extremely unhelpful when I asked to borrow the scales to weigh our luggage-saying our bag weighed 16kg when it was actually 27kg!they were […] awkward-made us drag our luggage all the way down and re pack in the lobby because other people had not returned the scale on previous occasions-this was all after reception told us they would send them up to our room straight away! "January's Too Cold!"
Location of the hotel is perfect, right on Ft. Lauderdale beach, however, its quite a walk to other restaurants or venues. We were there mid-January and - surprise - no heat in any rooms in the hotel. This was not addressed previous to our booking cause who would think no heat. "Sheraton Beach FLL - Good for short beach holiday"
Great location next to beach, OK pools. Beach tower with direct beach access. Building would need some refurbishment. Location bit distant - but wálking distance to nearby shops and restaurants. Lobby area can get croweded and not many things to do.

The Hotel is older but seemed to be well kept. One of my favorite things about this hotel was because it was older and had older water pipes the water pressure for the shower was really nice. Not like more modern where you seem to be just sprinkled on. I also really thought the bed was comfortable. It had a really nice, soft, thick comforter.

I chose this hotel based on location & price. I found it to be welcoming and clean. Right on the beach and our room was better than expected as far as location, they gave us ocean front corner with floor to ceiling windows. The only problem was no balcony and there were alot of little kids running around which my husband & I do not have little kids. […] It made the pool extremely loud as well as lobbys and hallways. "Housekeeping needs to get a clue"
The hotel and the room was clean and check in was a breeze, but housekeeping was annoying. I don't understand why they kept trying to enter a locked room so early in the morning. They were so loud they woke my wife and she told them numerous times to leave. I suspect there was a language problem. "post cruise stay"
We stayed here for 1 night post cruise. Hotel is older but was very clean. Had a great view of the beach and free loungers on the beach were great. Pool was clean and servers were available at the pool or beach.Staff was very helpful but with no car it was a bit of a walk even to a convenience store. Would definitely stay again!
"Great property"
Got upgraded to a suite upon arrival...It was a pleasant surprise and a nice room with 360 views of the beach & the city. The front desk staff were very helpful and so where the bell staff. Parking was right across the street & connected by skyway to the main bldg. Private, clean Beach . Will definetly come back again.
The hotel met our needs well. The only improvement would be a re-design of the bathroom. There was no space to set anything down or to hang up the towel, which made it very incovenient.
Pros: Very well located and as travelling in family, the room on the beach tower was exceptionally good with a view on the ocean. Cons: you have to pay very expensive wireless connection from the room (note there is a business center with free access although).
the hotel was nice but i would not call it a 4 stars hotel. i would give it 3 stars
"Great Name, Poor Quality"
When you pay a fortune for these 4/5 star hotels, you expect a service that is on par with the fee that is charged. However, I was extremely disappointed with the service - we booked a room at the Sheraton hoping to spend a romantic night. We were extremely disappointed at the size of the room - the room was also very very dusty - there was dust in […] the glasses/ in the coffee maker/ on the remote control - you name it and everything had DUST on it. The remote control did not work, some of the light switches did not work - do not mean to be picky here, but hey, when they charge me for a 4/5 star service, I'd definitely expect it!! And to top it off, I had to pay a 20$/day parking fee!! The next morning I explained the problems with the room to the front desk rep while checking out - she asked why I had not called after inspecting the room!! We checked in pretty late in the night (around 10:00) and were pretty tired. She said that they would definitely take care of the things I had pointed out and make sure the room was in good shape for my next visit - as if I was going to visit them on my next trip and would want to stay in that very same room!! Made me feel as if I had paid a fortune to inspect the room and share the findings with the hotel. Would not recommend this to anyone else and would never stay in this hotel chain. Hotel is fine! But we really missed a refrigerator in our room. Parking is pretty expensive. But you are right on the beach and it's only 1 min to the shops with the car.

Nice hotel in nice location. Beautiful beach and view from our veranda. Van to cruise port for a fee was convenient.

This was the most disappointing hotel i have ever stayed in and the cleanliness was appalling.... We had cockroaches in the room and the whole stay was very disappointing.

My wife and I stayed at the Yankee Clipper during our honeymoon 46 years ago and wanted to go back while we were traveling in FL. We didn't expect it to be the same and it wasn't. We were a little disappointed in the following: our room was small and there was no, I mean, NO room in the bathroom, although on the ocean side our room was so low (2nd FL) […] we were blocked by palm trees from seeing the ocean well, the Wreck Bar was closed while we were there and we weren't told, no decent places to eat in the hotel and our bed had the wrong sheets on it the first night and kept coming undone.
